Question: can we use Winlator to run stuff like SFM, MMD, or other games usually found on stuff like Steam without the cloud?
It crashes once I run the container, I use S24 Exynos 😢
It crashes right after you go in the cryo and everything whites out. Poco F6, Winlator 7.1, turnip 24.0.3.R3
I have installed Oblivion on my poco F5 pro with SD 8 gen 1+ and it work great, I tried dagger fall on a Poco X3 pro but got stuck on the installer, is great to see game channel cover this
Are these game files gonna be huge?? Or are they condensed a bit from this process
The game is not modified in any way. It is the same as if you were playing it on a PC.
@@fravier10001 that's what I was afraid of. Gonna need a bigger MicroSD
That's why he said you could sail the seven seas and get a repack or a game that's had stuff stripped or compressed. It MAY also affect performance.
I keep getting an error..I'm trying an older game, NFS The Run. I get the error "a debugger has been found running in your system. Please, unload it from memory and restart your program."
@@playablemuseum tried a cracked and original. Same thing. FML

@@firstblessings8777I'm amazed and shocked at the same time 😱 Phones are this powerful nowadays huh!
Can this work with online multiplayer games and mmorpg?
this is amazing. i wonder what other games are possible.
Someone posted a pretty extensive list in Eta's Fallout 3 vid he did the day before this one. Quite impressive actually.
@@njm12 I just saw it. Crazy that it runs crysis. i want to see that.
I’m using any Odín pro Do you know if the controllers will work 🤔
Hey do you have another app I can use to set up my controller beside input bridge it keeps freezing
Would Deus ex games work with this ? I mean would the gog versions of the games work ?
Winlator 8 didnt work for me on S23 here is hoping winlator 9 wont crash.
Does this support other lighter games? OG Skyrim, Arkham?
@@playablemuseum why are you asking me?
Yes it does
@@faizanarif6930 Well I tried Skyrim and Fallout NV and they just never finished installing. I guess my phone sucks or something.
hey dude, winlator has alot of settings/configstuff, how can i know beforehand what the right options are? i'm using european s20+
I decided to dive in and try Fallout New Vegas and it gives me an "Abstract Error" whenever I try to install the game. Guess this needs a bit more time in the oven.
Same error I got. I have a sd8g3 powered phone. Winlator won't run on an sd8g3.
I can’t even get Fallout New Vegas to run on an actual PC.
Funny thing is I also have a moto g power (2021) with an sd665 chip and will play it, but the 15 fps is unbearable, and that's with all settings turned down all the way.
It actually works. Do this:
- Change Both Advanced settings to Compatibiity (don't forget to save the changes)
- Before installing the game, open Start menu inside Windows, go to System Tools and run Wine Mono installer
The first change makes so that the gog installer can run, and the second one makes so that the installation doesn't get stuck while trying to install .NET Framework 4.
Is Winlator Linux with Wine? Will this also run Windows on Android? What other games are compatible with this?
A quick question ❓
Installing the game on pc and moving the installed files to android is not gonna work?
I do this method for some smaller games and it worked fine
I tried it with FA4 and it didn't. It did work though when i tried the GOG installer.
sadly it doesnt launch. only the launcher does, but then no clicking works: options or play. Im on Poco F6 and it is just starting getting drivers and support for x64.
What is that Xbox (ish) controller? Almost looks like the Spectrum design
Looking forward to seeing the performance on Redmagic 9 pro.
crazy that... maybe now and In the next 5 years, there will be not needed PC / laptop only smartphone can play and work all.. amazing
Considering everything is moving to ARM this might be the case, I've been saying for a decade that a big foldable phone with a keyboard might be able to do most of the things we need
You said it mate. I think you're right. How cool.
nah, this is a decade old game and it still struggles to run good enough at lowest possible settings. 5yrs from now we will be able to at best run some 2019 games
@@jakoick1298 The Snapdragon X Elite can already run Baldur's Gate 3 at roughly 30 FPS according to early demos in Windows on ARM, and 5 years is a lifetime in computer tech.
What's that screen recorder you're using!?
Tried to download fallout 3, i used gog but when it finished installing and i launched it all it did was open for a split second then close again, any way of fixing this?
Same issue, any fix??
Winlator works on my old sd 870 but pc game size lika gta v 100gb is ridiculous, we need repacks to 20gb
I'd love to see how Persona 4 Golden and Shin Megami Tensei 3 HD, maybe even Persona 5 Royal if it works
Mobox don't work on Mediateka Dimensity 9300.. opening explorer crashes
The gpu name doesn't make much since because a real 9800 gtx doesn't support dx11
I did this with a fold 5 and it is running like trash, opening a folder the folders load crazy slow and nothing is working right.
If it isn't a snapdragon it won't run that well
@@jeffsterc1657 ok thank you, do you know what the fold 5 used?
What device was this video made on?
Can someone help me? My .exe file wont show up, what to do?
I'm having the same issue with the Fallout 3 GOTY Edition... except the graphics look off and the text isn't showing up. Gonna tweak a little bit more but I don't want to risk the container crashing again...
