What a lot of cool things you got on your trip! The pots with the leaves and flowers are lovely. And that wind chime is beautiful! And, yes, that sounds like a super good price! I kind of collect wind chimes, and have them hanging across the front edge of my front porch! I also have some shelves on the back wall of the porch, with mostly sea shells on it. My mom loved shells and most of the ones out there were ones she got in various places. Glad you got to get away, and hopefully it feels good to be home again, and decorate with all your new things!!
@athomeinaz5421 Yes, she did and so do I, even though she and I grew up in KS, and as adults only lived in Kansas and Missouri! Though I've not been near an ocean nearly as much as I wish I had, a peace comes over me when I can be! My folks also collected rocks, and I and my kids, especially my daughter love those, too! My daughter, now living in London since 2012, has been in way more countries than I have, and she has rocks from every one. I found a small but interesting rock in Alaska to give her as well as a couple of gift shop things. But knowing her, she'll probably love the rock as much as the purchased things. When we spent time with her in May, in a Delaware Beach town, she and I spent about 2 hours one day walking up and down the beach collecting shells we liked. And once she brought me a whole baggie of shells to put in my lighthouse bathroom, where I have a bunch of shells and lighthouses. It runs in the family apparently! 😊
Love the chimes in sea blue, they are made of capiz shell which normally comes from the Philippines. Glad you enjoyed the S.D. cool weather with your sis. Super hot where I'm at, will be 111 on Friday and I can bet thats just the forecast...it will be hotter. We are trying to be like Az here anymore with the heat.
I didn't know that about the shell. Thanks for letting me know. I heard that it was hotter in So Cal than it was in AZ for a few days. How us it with the fires?
I'm having pain in my stomach. My twin is doing really good. Does it bother you to go in an empty house at night? That was a tough one for me but I did get used to it.
Oh no I'm sorry. I hope that starts to feel better. Yes it was hard to be in the empty house, that's one reason I went to my sister's house for a few days. Feel better my friend

The chimes are gorgeous. Glad you had a nice time with your sister. The beach is beautiful.
It really is. How are you feeling? And how's your sister doing?
