We do have dishes that are only veggies or mainly veggies. We just often mix veggies & meat (fish too) together.

6:53 Asians like vegetables too. The thing is veges for Asians is just veges. It's good for us and that's all. But in the west, they just took it way too extreme. Like veges will boost your health. Veges are super food. Also most of Asians cuisine, we will have servings like for example the main (rice/noodle), and pair it with vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood. So you hardly see a dish for example a plate of fried rice with lots of vegetables on top of it. As you can see in Wang Kang's video, he only add some peas, chillies and that's only for color for the fried rice. If he want to eat it with vegetables, he will cook separately but not to put in top of the fried rice.

Asian people love vegetables. You just haven't been watching videos about them. I know a lot of western people hate broccoli. What if I tell you Chinese dishes make broccoli taste like 10/10?

In Asian cooking, especially in South East Asia, we love to eat our meat, with veggies, we cook them seperately most of the time, in certain dishes we mix them in with our meat, but mostly in South East Asia, we have seperate classic vegetable dishes we normally cook seperately.
Only certain dishes we may cook veggies with other things like egg, mushrooms & Fried Tofu, I'm speaking from a Chinese cuisine perspective here.

Really wish Uncle Roger would stop calling all these hacks "professional chef". Neither Rachael Ray or Jamie Oliver are professional chefs. And there's a reason RR only makes dog food now.

In Asian cuisines, vegetables are served as side unless they are the main dish. We concentrate more on the flavor and taste rather than the plain and bland like the western countries. This is why I never eat out on Western restaurants cause their menu is either full of vegetable stew or a plate is loaded of meats.
