I aporeviate the good info but one note The correct pronunciation is Poo-oo neh-neh which means hill of the nene goose.

Here we are in 2021 and the bike path from Paia to Sprecks is the only major improvement for recreation and preservation of the North Shore open space. What can we do to help improve and protect our precious North Shore of Maui? Where is the leadership?

Thanks for the great history lesson, I had no idea about the battle grounds on the north shore as well as the cultural sight. I have seen some of the old rail ties on Kua Bay - I did not know what they were till I watched this video - Mahalo.

We are now near the middle of 2019. How have things progressed?
    I'm asking from the mainland.

I'd feel more comfortable with your program if all of you weren't affluent white people with essentially culturally affluent white people ideas about the future of Maui.

Some of the people you refer to as "white" have ali'i blood, so grow up.
