This great band still brings me tears of joy after all these decades (i'm 63)! They bring back some of the best memories i've had, often seeing them live on the East Coast 'back in the day'!
Me and my wife seen Zebra in Vineland NJ for the 1st time about 2 years ago and did a meet n greet. Great guys. I wish i could of seen them in the 80's. But i got to see them finally and the meet n greet put me over the top. ZEBRA fan for Life. 🦓
Wow, I wore out alot of cassettes of this album from over playing. Another great song. There will always be ZEBRA followers, and I am one of them. Always
I would agree with you, but for me, the simple fact is if the song was about picking out floor tiles and it sounded this amazing, I would have fallen in love with the song anyway. My point is, I think we all loved this one on first hearing, then the content was an added bonus which made it so that we still love it. Another song came out around the same time that I loved was Box of Frogs song Back Where I Started.
Amazing he could still hit those notes after all these years. I couldn't do that without stubbing my toe in the middle of the night on a coffee table on my best day.
A song that came out at the perilous height of the Cold War...when the End of the World seemed inevitable...and was always near...this song always make me reflect...plus...it's a great tune🎸📡👽
I wore the grooves off my copy of their first record. Still blown away by them all these years later! Makes you nostalgic for a time when all you had to fear was an accidental nuclear wars and not a worldwide plague, out of control wildfires, and more tropical storms in a year than there are letters of the alphabet.
I remember as a 13 yr old going to see Zebra nearly every weekend in 1977.... All the concerts would be very heavy with LED Zeppelin when they didn’t have a whole lot of songs of their own...
HFS! Randy! Still killin' it! So funny, I thought these guys were a Long Island band, by the sound and look, but they're from Lousiana! (Yes it's phonetic). Sounds as good as the day I heard it on WBCN, in Boston, back in the 80's.
Great video, Tom! This is Peter, from the Martin Logan club! You had a great view. My gf isn't even 5' tall so we couldn't be there on the floor :( I just posted a video from the show too. I'll be posting more, including from the Laguna Beach show they did the next day.
These guys have played some of my most favorite shows i've been to. So great, so unknown, so underrated. Just Great!!

One of the most richly spiritual songs I have ever experienced - absolutely stunning
when we all started singing the first verse, i got goosebumps all over.. just amazing. Love this band.
Those words I was looking for to describe the lyrics. Gives me goosebumps!

Such a beautiful song. I've interviewed Randy and Felix, both gentlemen and really polite to a small time music journalist.
Amazing he could still hit those notes after all these years. I couldn't do that without stubbing my toe in the middle of the night on a coffee table on my best day.

The most overlooked band on the planet!
Crack The Sky is more overlooked. Check them out.
@@tomdac they may be, thank you, I will check them out.
Is that like being underrated? Who overlooks them? Everyone posting on here are big fans. Explain overlooked please.
Sure they are not underlooked?
That's what I'm trying to figure out. Whats this unrated/overlooked jargon supposed to mean?

Masters of metal!! and that they are!
Metal?? I've never thought of Zebra as a metal band.. Progressive Rock is more like it.
@@tomdac They fall under my large umbrella of bands i love!!! its a good thing
@@tomdac ps soonny!! hahahaha
@@tomdac yea with falsetto vocals on the higher notes...He he he
@@tomdac Google 'Masters of Metal Vol 1". That's where I first heard this masterpiece.

The older the fingers, the sweeter the notes. (within me & mine)

Hey Tom! Are you going to see Zebra again this June 3rd at the Whiskey? I got my tickets the other day. Pete (from your Martin Logan Club)
Not this time. I got my concert schedule all picked out for 2023. TMBG, Tears For Fears and coheed & cambria. 👍
5 minute intro...whoa.
Julia says, “I know who WAS behind the door! Dorothy and a security guard!”
Long intro. But a great song!!!!
The fact that LA people knew it.... I used go there and the gaslight. Sweet
The crowd is trying to stay in key... it's a toughie ❤

Bands hate when fans have their phones in the air. Do fans hate when bands do it? Things that make you go hmmm🤣🤘
