Not related necessarily to the shield build but I’ve found when fighting cripple innara bulldozer is better than sentinel since unless you’re fighting a comp with lots of kb as well just killing her cripple and what’s very likely one of her main DR cycles it makes her more vulnerable

Barik is such an underwhelming tank. It’s not like he is bad but the other tanks just outshine him. I really think he needs a health buff, it’s not like his dmg is great so at least give him a bit more self sustain. Having the shield is great but once they buy wrecker it becomes less relevant in late game.
totally agree. an experienced player surely is capable of making barik “work” when playing with him very safe but there’s really not a motive for playing him anymore because even some off tanks can be more tanky than he is rn. i feel like he is the seris of the tanks at this current meta.
I'd keep the loadout saved just because base barik isn't the point tank presence he used to be. If your allies were hitting shots you wouldn't feel lacking, and your obj presence speaks for itself. I mean it was damn near a 3v5 and you still got it close.
I think the active CD one is more effective against shield busters (dredge, betty, vivian), while the other one does better if the enemy dps don't gravitate to destroy shields (sha lin, strix)
It can still fulfill that role. In fact, it might ironically improve turret up time because the card resets the cooldown of ALL abilities. Not just the shield.

Does nobody buy Bulldozer? You can instantly buy Bulldozer to teir 3 and just shred threw Walls and Deployables. Makes Inara completely useless as both of her survival options are non-existant.

Turrets are meant to help barik secure point against stronger tanks. It is for increased dps, not meant for you to have your shield.
