onf (on and off) did a performance on mcountdown with a 100 member live orchestra revealed in the background. its pretty reassuring to see their encore live especially with recent kpop controversy, all while having cried and still crying. i believe the members singing the high note in the bridge are e-tion and hyojin, but in the encore it was e-tion and seungjun (formerly j-us) because hyojin was crying (although they all were). they were also on road to kingdom placing second. they did an orchestral version of We Must Love. i think their best rtk performance was their cover of its raining by rain where they really changed it up with their own song and michael jackson influences. their mvs are very heavy on lore that i dont follow, but their songs have been consistent throughout with Hwang Hyun (now at Monotree and formerly from Sweetune) working on most if not all of their tracks and closely with the members from debut till this date. i believe he has written for infinite, and has notably written for Loona as well. there are episodes on his youtube channel or onf channel (i forget which) where he breaks down onf singles with member yuto instrument by instrument, which is pretty neat. on an additional note, they have a canadian and us tour in august this year. i also really enjoyed kiof's song. it definitely reminds me of early 2000s maybe christina or britney. perhaps there is an artist who is more representative of that sound. i would really like to know. i am just discovering their discography and really enjoy their vocals so far!

As far as the Bye My Monster choreo goes, they're going on a US+CA tour this summer and probably aren't bringing back up dancers so I think maybe they wanted to make sure they wouldn't need to do too much modification without the additional dancers maybe? But I agree in general that if back up dancers are going to be used it's nice when they're realllly integrated.
