For anyone wondering about deck lists, I'm gonna give my guess on their main differences. Murktide: Probably just typical Murktide with a couple MH3 upgrades (Aggro-Control/Midrange) - Has Murktide Dragon - Tamiyo replaced the Money Monkey (Invert Polarity's here now too but it's in both decks) - Delirium Package (DRC, Heat, Preordain, Bauble, and I've seen people call Iteration apart of the Delirium Package) Wizards: Looks like Aspiringspike's list (Control maybe Control-Aggro, it's more Aggro than something like UW, but less Aggro than normal Murktide) - Doesn't look like there's a Murktide Dragon (Not super needed, but it is an easy finisher to play 1-2 copies of if you want) - Wizard Package (Snapcaster, both are playing Tamiyo because she's so good, Party Thrasher aka the Lizard Wizard, and of course Flame of Anor the reason the whole Wizards package is played at all) - Energy Package (Tune the Narrative, Galvanic Discharge, Unstable Amulet. Liz Wiz might be considered apart of this because of it's interaction with Amulet) Personally, I think the energy package is better and I like Amulet a lot. Murktide works better with the Delirium Package, as counter productive as that might sound. The cards you play to enable Delirium help fuel the graveyard for Murktide, which is why the Wizard version doesn't play Murktide since it uses the Energy Package. But Murktide is just that good of a card, so it can be played as a medium sized threat to speed up games and make the Wizard deck more aggressive if that's what the player wants.
Great commentating! Glad you acknowledged their fast pace of play; I almost thought the footage was sped up at first 😂 As someone thinking about going to FNM after years of not playing I'm intimidated by the prospect of keeping up with more seasoned players. But I'll try!
I'm the murktide player, I often play control decks so I just have a habit of playing fast. Its not required or even super common to play this fast, so don't let that stop you!

This is probably my favourite channel for watching modern. Clear, dedicated commentary and visuals as well as players who know what they're doing and are having fun doing it. Could we please get pronouns with player introductions? Past that, I'm getting most of your voice through my left speaker for some reason, but it's a negligible issue for me. Looking forwards to more izzet gaming!
Hey thanks 🙏 we’re glad you dig the content. We are planning on putting pronouns, however with the player intros its a bit more difficult. Because we stream these on twitch for our FNM its hard to get intros when were in the tournament.

Loving these videos, keep it up
Glad to hear. We will!
Game 2 the wizard player has 2 Unstable Amulet on board, cast 2 times flame of anor and forget every time to trigger the amulets ... 4 damage miss
Yeah, hahah we talked about that as soon as the round was over. He knew he missed them. 😅
What is the red creature playing Kevin?
Party Thrasher?

8:11 what happened here? They counter and still take damage?
Judah lost life on the attack not the Bolt. They just took a while to update the life counter.
It's magic like richard garfield intended. Great job to both players.
It really is 😅
decklist! izzet murktide
Unfortunately because its FNM we don’t require decklists
Also would be nice a deck tech, if you can. I would like to run a similar murktide list for modern rcq season!
not letting me post the moxfield link, but it is public, so look up “murktide Denver list 10-4” and it should show up
Waahhhoooo!!!! Good Games!!! 😊
