- Ok, so I already posted both my Sizzle Season 2024 concept and my Side Order: Endless Mode concept on my Reddit and mentioned it on the Angelfish Oasis video, however I realized that this is UA-cam and no one actually reads the description or channel bios, so here's my Sizzle Season 2024 and Side Order: Endless Mode concepts in video form!

tbh for the final fest, I was expecting something with side-order like they did for Splatoon2 with the special octo-expansion stage
but the splatfest itself wasn't octo expansion themed so many ideas can still become reality...

My heart dropped when I saw the permabrush kit
Mostly cuz I saw sprinkler, but also because I want the perma brush kit to be burst bomb and triple splashdown
i originally had it as sprinkler and splashdown, but i changed it because i thought brush could use a more supportive kit compared to the vanilla kit being good with spacing and the nouveau kit technically being a kind of aggressive kit
As an Inkbrush main I gotta say... don't get your hopes up, I'm sorry. it's got sprinkler both previous games and Nintendo is obsessed with sprinkler in general, it'd take a miracle to get any other sub

Mr. Grizz: Got a “King Salmonid” coming in. That means mandatory overtime! Here’s an “egg cannon”. Now get to work!
Mr. Grizz: That is a “Fishurprise”. Careful not to let it suck your ink, or you’d probably be splatted by its explosive projectiles.
King Salmonid: HURLPOOL
A colony of smaller Salmonids worked together to become a King. These serfs will surf around the arena (pun intended), shooting themselves as ammo towards you. They make many shapes like the guys from Finding Nemo, and do different attacks depending on the shape. Hit one of their projectiles with your Egg Cannon to briefly stun the masses and go for the kill. Greed/Wrath/Delusion is a cool idea, but I think it deserves to be a second-anniversary splatfest to not have as much impact. It would be confusing to have Octavio or Order return as villains due to their previous character development and the potential for new villains. Past/Present/Future, though, could work, especially considering the options you stated. Since Past/Future was already a splatfest in 1, it could be an amazing callback, just in time for Splatoon's 10th anniversary. Side Order endless is peak, but I wish the missions, bosses, and Inner Order were all available during the Main Story.
i'd honestly say all three "villains" have a decent shot in terms of redemption, as octavio directly helps you in splatoon 3's climax, order sort of learns to accept chaos by the end of side order, and mr grizz also sort of accepts that the world has changed and that there isn't any way to bring it back, and is shown to be maybe still be alive in the credits(?)
though, grizz's chances of returning are way lower compared to the other two, so maybe replace him with marigold, she seems kinda fishy
past/present/future definitely has more interesting ramifications for future entries, however i decided with greed/wrath/delusion over it for final fest as i felt greed/wrath/delusion had more of a 'finality' feel compared to past/present/future, which sounds like it could just be a completely normal splatfest

Popped off so hard. Love the Past/Present/Future final fest, that’s been my prediction for a while. I just think it’ll dictate the setting of Splatoon 4.
i personally don't see it happening due to it lacking the sort of grandiose that chaos vs order has, but i still think the implications of that being the final fest would be cool, it'd be neat to get a great turf war single player spin-off
only issue would be that the only playable weapon would likely be bamboozler and maybe dynamo and aerospray, but i'd still like to see it happen
@@flautasalad1740 Honestly I think it’s hard to top Chaos vs. Order in terms of epic-ness, I just like Past/Present/Future because it feels like it represents the themes throughout Splatoon 3 so well and has cool implications for Splat 4. Shiver is a shoe-in for past since she’s very traditional, Frye makes sense for future since she’s always trying to burn stuff down and is just very forward-brained, and Big Man’s always living in the moment so that’s that. My only issue with the sins is A) it feels a little dark for the general audience and vibe of the game and B) I think I just want Splatoon 4 to be a reboot idk if I want the old villains back 😅
But genuinely tho like what a great video. Your stringer design in particular is just so top level and I doubt the official one will top it. I only hope the Reef comes back as well!

I've been scared of getting that exact Inkbrush kit for a while, haha. A supportive Inkbrush could be cool, but I really don't think Tacticooler works with what the main weapon wants to do. I really don't expect it to happen, but I think my dream third kit would be burst or torpedo with kraken. Thanks for the video!
i think tacticooler could work well with inkbrush, you could quickly move in to bring it to your teammates after charging it up, but kraken would be fun too
I guess so. I just worry that since it can be so difficult to get in with inkbrush sometimes, a special that often requires returning from those positions you want to take could slow things down, or put you in danger of losing the special. It could be interesting if you could make it work, though
Wish the map was real:( And I could get down with the new stringer and splatana. Nintendo needs to hire you right now. Also the fact pink and purple, pink and yellow and purple and teal are still not colors in the game when they were in the last 2 is crazy.

i think past/present/future definitely has the most interesting implications for future games as a final fest, however i put it in my alternative ideas because it just doesn't really have that grand feeling a final fest should have, being something that could honestly just be a random splatfest

i predicted permanent inkbrush with sprinkler and kraken royale and custom hydra with angle shooter and big bubbler.

If we're talking about fun concepts that won't come true, let's bring back Agent 4 as a playable character for Side Order. As head of Memverse Security, their tower runs could offer different challenges, mechanics and level designs compared to Agent 8's. Or...
...if we're dreaming really big, give them their own campaign where they help 8 behind the scenes! It'd be a "Parallel Campaign" where 4 and 8 work together through different stories.
While 8 is doing their first run up the Spire, Agent 4 is in a different sector of the Memverse preventing Order's programs from stopping 8. Their levels could be data copies of the Octo Valley kettles from Splatoon 1, subconsciously formed from the memories of Marina's Octoling engineers (see her Dev Diary #10). Levels would be similar to the originals, with some alterations for harder difficulty and new secrets. Also, you could reattempt levels to complete special missions like the Amiibo Challenges from Splat1.
We know none of this will happen, but it's fun to think about 😉.

I’d also like the final fest to be a fight of the favorite idol group: Shiver/Deep Cut, Frye/Off the Hook, Big Man/Squid Sisters

Final Fest could also be "If you were a cephalo...which would be scarier? Sharks? Eels? or Rays?". The Question is goofy yes, but the winner becomes not only a new villian but a whole new species that wants to take over the land. Bringing the ideas of Octo Canyon/Valley, Octo Expansion/Alterna, and the World of Order to one nice mix. with something new mixed in somehow
sounds kind of interesting, though that would mean the villain of the next game would be the team who won, which they've never done, the loser has always played some sort of villainous role in the next game (i.e. callie brainwashing and marina being the first boss of side order)
@@flautasalad1740 it would have to be the winner tbh. Since 2 teams lose that wouldn't work. My lore based reason is the species that won caught wind of the splatfest. the team that wins (Sharks lets say) would become far more confident that the cephalos fear them and would start to evolve rather rapidly gaining salmonid like qualities to try and take territory. The squidbeak splatoon would catch wind of this and start to fight back. Then in comes the Neo 4 to help.
I honestly (No offense intended) have hated the idea of the them being another Idol Fest. Crazy Toxic. the 3 poisons is cool...but if a villian gets recycled...again i feel a lot of people would loose faith in the Splatoon series.
@@shadedalion5478 returning villain was honestly the most easily presentable idea i could really think of for what three poisons could mean for future games, but it could just affect the motives of the next game's villain or the themes of the next game's story
i.e. greed leading to a full take down of the rest of grizzco, wrath leading to working through the tensions that still lay between inkadia (basically the inkopolis region, splatsville doesn't seem to have been involved in the great turf war) and octarian forces, or delusion leading to… uh… idk, a full blown spin-off of side order expanding on the whole premise?
I want a feature in Side Order where you can customize which chips are more common on weapons

I can't believe my prediction for The Past, The Present, The Future became a concept name for the final splatfest, like I legit talked about when Splatoon 3 was being released 😅

As a Bamboozler main, I hate to agree on the realistic kit pick. One of the worst possible kits they could give it (even according to a poll done in a competitive bamboozler server), but its possible due to both kit elements either being on the weapon before, or are similar to another sub/special it had before, so Nintendo would 100% do it.

Tbh, Neo Agent 3 would be in Wrath or Greed, while Agent 8 woud be in Delusion since they’re the protagonist in a virtual world (Side Order). Maybe Acht would be on Greed or something, but I don’t think Agent 4 would appear here
i chose to not put agent 3 in anything because in splatoon 3's multiplayer, YOU🫵 are agent 3 and YOU🫵 would get to decide what team they're on
agent 4 has no personality anyway so idk why theyre here, they literally do not appear once (4 is made in china version of agent 3)
I like to think the three new side order bosses are based off the idles animals or pet thingy
i don't think master mega and the eels are supposed to be pets? more like agent 3 and smallfry, a bit of a symbiotic relationship, but yeah, i was basing the bosses off of deep cut and some other gameplay aspects, like evasive vivace being based on zipcaster, pogo forte being based on splashdown and octavio's boss, and sea-king crescendo being based on ninja squid
wouldn't mind Order weturning as a boss meanie or the next little buddy helping us with meanies.

that's kind of why i decided against an idols splatfest as my main final fest idea, shiver's just as hostile to the other groups, and it doesn't really pave the way for anything all too interesting in the next game outside of who might come back

I genuinely think I would cry if big swig got that sub since it desperately needs an aggressive kit. While inkjet would be pretty cool, I think burst bomb would be a lot better as it can combos

brush is already one of the most fun palettes in side order, so i wanted to give something to roller to make it more fun and powerful

There's a problem, they might not make another Drizzle Season because updates end in September
im aware of that, but this is just a concept i made with the idea of a content extension in mind

Auto brush is useless and it should have wall cling instead
There should be some challenges where you can't use a main, sub or special at all.
For the infinite run i think an infinite palette is more fun.
All hacks are activated and every 10 or 15 floors you must deactivate one of them and can turn on a deactivated hack by turning of another one that is deactivated.
For hacks that have stages like the number of lives one stage eguals one hack and those that give new chips stop giving them when deactivated.
For drone slots if they are already filled they can't be turned off.
I want an infinite palette because doing levels for money is borring, especialy for infinite runs
Your other ideas are pretty cool though.
I think an infinite palette, while cool and could maybe work as a rare bonus effect, wouldn't really work gameplay-wise, as you'd either eventually become so powerful that nothing in the spire is a challenge anymore, or the game would need to reach Kaizo levels of difficulty to stay engaging.
The chip-Membux balance system was just an idea I had to balance this and keep the game challenging.
I also wanted to keep Wall Cling exclusive to Roller, as Brush is already one of the best palettes in the game, at least in my experience, and I wanted Roller to have something both fun and broken to help it be closer to Brush's level. Also, Auto Brush would be extremely helpful for people who have trouble with spamming the click button, though I guess it would probably work better as just a base feature.
I think your ideas for an endless mode are also cool, though, and could also work!

the best way i could describe operation buster unit is that they're more like the octosniper enemy rather than an octoling with a charger
plus having a mostly normal salmon run wave except every single lesser salmonid has a weapon sounds terrifying, it could probably be more of a 'survive' challenge rather than a defeat all enemies challenge

@@aqwanouk2209 salmonlings don't make sense at all, they aren't cephalopods, they're fish, and from what i remember, they don't even produce ink, it's all just like mucky water
plus, salmonids just have cool and interesting designs on their own, adding a 'kid' form would just take away from that
if we ever were to get playable salmonids, i would just want to be a regular ol' salmonid, not some weird salmon-kid hybrid

Uh I don’t think side order can be editable
they're just concepts, i don't think it's very likely that side order will receive updates, but i still wanted to try and come up with some stuff that would be cool to see in side order
though, side order absolutely is editable, not only has nintendo released some patches for some glitches in side order, but modders have been able to mod the game like changing the contents of a palette to have a different weapon such as the grizzco charger
I hate the fact that the hydra kit HAS INK MINE AND BUBBLER... this is hurtful ;-;
i thought it would work for the weapon, as both can be used before you charge to help protect you

i was honestly just kind of bored and came up with a bunch of random concepts i'd want in the game lol

These are genuinely all fantastic ideas but I think this is just a setup four disappointment. The chance of side order getting major updates is pretty much dead but I would love to be proven wrong and if I am please laugh at me and call me dumb
these aren't meant to be predictions, and was mainly just me having fun with ideas, but yea, side order probably isn't getting updates

i don't really play hydra that much, but i thought big bubbler would be pretty alright with it? it helps protect it from longer-range weapons like chargers and also helps short-range weapons from rushing it down as easily
idk, like i said, i don't really play hydra and was just basing it off of the splatoon 2 custom kit

i didn't want to add too many 3rd kits because of how many 2nd kits i was already adding, so i also didn't want any repeat classes in the 3rd kits, and splattershot was just being more iconic than aerospray
this concept was made with the idea of a content extension in mind, so aerospray would get a 3rd kit next season, i'd probably give it burst bomb and kraken

A few minor critiques:
- Your ideas for Side order are downright fantastic, let me lead with that, I just don't think Side Order will get updates. It seems a bit too unlikely, but again, the actual ideas presented were really good!
- uhh...delusion isn't a sin? Unless maybe you meant pride, but I feel like that one goes to Shiver just as much as greed lmao. Aside from that I do like the idea of straight up escalating the Splatocalypse
Finally someone who want Octarian vs Inkling vs Salmonids. Also if salmonling appear i have already a explaination of what they are : Salmonid that live in Splatville have evolved to adapt themselve to the environement, they are also made of ink, but waterproof ink, so they can still live in water

in buddhism, delusion is apart of the three poisons, though it is sometimes referred to as ignorance, the three poisons being the three negative qualities of the mind that causes problems
think, for example, order, who was so deluded in his thinking that everyone wanted a world of order that he tried to force it upon everyone - delusion is as much a sin as greed and wrath, at least in this context, plus the anarchy poisons song-mixes are named after the three animals that represent the three poisons, with those animals also having statues in splatsville
