So far I have watched 22 seconds of this video... magnets to hold down the template!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!!
I've never seen a bandsaw blade that cuts steel!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!
looks like a huntsman :D
GamePath The huntsman knife is a Mtech Xtreme 8054
I know this sounds odd, but I love falling asleep to your videos. The perfect mix of moments with just music and moments of actual audio with music is very relaxing to me and helps me sleep.
In no way am I saying your videos are boring, just the opposite. I could watch your videos for hours on end.
You are not the only one who find my videos relaxing. Thanks for watching.
none of the knife makers take pride in their work like you do I love your videos keep it up! this is still my favorite knife
I think all of them take pride in their work. It is the knowledge and level of craftsmanship that is visible that sets them apart.
I am sorry to the viewers who cannot hold this knife in their hand but look at pictures instead. It is breathtaking and a real masterpiece. I am the owner and it is an absolute beautiful piece of ART. Slavik Tely is extremely talented. I am so proud to own this one of a kind knife that was made especially for me. It is a real honor. Fantastic work Sir.
Hi Ken. Thank you for the compliment. I am glad you liked this knife. It was an honor to make it for you.
What flapper wheel does is it eats away the soft material (handles) more than the steel and then you have to grind the steel to match the level of the handles. I checked your UA-cam channel and did not see one video where you show using flapper wheel.
I opened this video, and immediately realized it had to be yours and I was right, fantastic as always
Hi Tely,
It has been an absolute pleasure to watch as you make knives, build up more skills, an grow as a craftsman. This video, as always, has been brilliantly made and I hope to see more of your work.
Thank you for sharing your passion with us.
You are welcome.
Love the choice of handle scale material. Simply gorgeous my friend!
I am very new to knife making . you cant imagine how many tips and tricks I learn watching your videos. thank you
You are welcome.
Of all the knife makers, I believe you are the best.
Thank you for the compliment.
I really like your videos. I have learned a lot of techniques from you. Beautifull work, thank you for posting them.
This makes me want to get into knife making so much
The music is so calming, it's like I'm in a garden.
It's a shame we don't know what the song is called yet... But it sounds soothing, though.
I saw many knifes and I like knifes ,,, but these knifes are just great !!!! respect for this man.
Thank you.
Your work is flawless. You are one of the reasons i started knifemaking. Thank you for sharing your work with us. I can learn so much from you for my future knife projects.
Greetings from Germany.
Thank you for the compliment.
I live in Brazil and admire your work
I can totally see his knives going for an easy $300 or $400 each they are so beautiful
Beautiful work!! I'm starting into knife making. What brand, what type, and how long of files should I buy? Thank you in advance for your help! God Bless you!
I love your work SLAVIK TELY you are an artist, very talented
Finishing coumpound is toxic?
If a will finish kitchen blade with it isn't toxic ?
that has got to be the most elegant, beautiful, classy, manly, stylish, handles I have ever seen on a knife before. perfection. how do I buy?
Unfortunately it is sold. If you liked the handles on this one, then check my Tanto Kukri video.
i hope that you read this, but thank you. You do what you love for us. That it's an honorable trait for a man to have
You don't need to hope, I read ALL the comments. Some I can't answer because of UA-cam settings. Thank you for the compliment.
You are a one of the best metal workers 👏👏👊wooowww!
I always admire your patience to use the file instead of using the Dremel to smooth out the irregularities of the metal, which would save you a lot of time.
Always so beautiful video that makes me want to follow in your footsteps in the art of cutlery
Thank you Clint.
cuanta tinta para herreria gastas diario???
You're born to do this, man.
I hope you find a way to mass produce your knives. You deserve to be up there with the top knife maker.
Thank you. Words like this keep me going. I appreciate that.
SLAVIK TELY you are so apretiative of you fans and I see your repleys everywhere in the comment section I can't say the same for most other channels, that's another reason we love your videos
You're welcome, I don't have facebook or instagram to share your video. the least i can do is like and comment on your video.
Does anyone know how he compost the infetior part of the knife?
Good stuff! Glad I found your you tube channel!
Was this an original design ? of the blank . That's one of the toughest looking knives I've seen. Awesome !!
The detail you put into this takes forever
Hermoso trabajo y obras de arte
You are the most patient man in the universe
There are more of us...I mean knife makers.
SLAVIK TELY yeah true, but when I'm making them I like to do things as quickly as possible.
I really love the handle on this knife, it's similar to my knife I built , I think it just feels the most comfortable in n my hand

Good afternoon friend, great video! I live in Brazil and would like to know where you bought this file guide that you hold in the knife at the time of sanding. Thank you for your attention and thank you.
Não perco nenhum trabalho seu mais... muito top.
Adoraria ter uma dessas exclusiva.

I really enjoy watching your work because of all the love you put on every knife you make. Excellent work
Работа на уровне, шедевр 👍
Music is awesome, beautiful hand made knife, good job 👍
Thanks.
As always...you know you're gifted, your work shows it in every way you work that steel. Thanks again for another knife... I finally found that Craftsman grinder on Craigslist, cause Sears doesn't make it anymore, but I'm trying to get used to hand filing first...
Best of luck to you. It is not that simple to grind.
This knife and the video are fantastically well done!! Great job!
My thoughts as well
Nice,u used a Westcott ruler,my husband's family's name. They spell it 2 different ways,wescott being the other way. Also,what a kickass knife.
You are a very talented bladesmith, my friend. I really enjoy watching a true craftsman work. It's a thing of beauty.
Keep doing what you're doing.
Thanks. Share the channel with your other friends.
What are they called and where can I get those drill press grinding wheels?
I buy those from Harbor Freight.
Beautiful design! It's funny how awesome your skills have gotten since you began.
Every knife gets better.
Its look like you almos abscessed about all the small dutales, and its great.
Good job mate! You are the real thing 👍

I have to say, for the tools you use and what seems like you are self taught, you produce some staggering knives. Don't see anyone else on youtube making the type of handles you do. Nice work.
Thank you.
Awesome knife and relaxing music.
This is beautiful, I wish I wasn't so limited to tools. Great work man!
One tool at a time.
One of my favorite deep fried blades of all time
Как же классно выглядит этот нож. Жаль я не имею технической возможности повторить такое. Да и руки не позволяют :D
Спасибо Ваня.
Daaamn 100k!! Congrats brother !
I know, Thanks. It feels so great!
Wow! one of the most beautiful knives i think I've ever seen😲😍 if i would have the money and the room to make knives i would be making some no stop. great vids and keep up the good work.
Thank you Jacob.
Looking good! How did it go using the belt grinder instead of your file jig to do the bevel?
It feels amazing. This is my first one I have done with a belt grinder.
As usual. QUALITY.....thank you Telly
Where did you get the plastic stencil to help trace your lines?
Amazon...French curve ruler
been watching your progress on snapchat, so glad its finally done it looks amazing
Thanks Todd
Sou apaixonado por cutelaria, e em especial pelo seu trabalho. você é extremamente caprichoso e profissional. Parabéns.
Thank you very much.
As always amazing work. I love your style, it just works. You sir, make art with a real sharp edge
Cheers.
this knife looks dope. hope I would be able to buy one one day
amazing men...Every time you make a knife and you know I'm surprised by the passion and dedication you give to knives ... Greetings from Argentina
If you love what you do, then it comes naturally.
you fooled me! i though the hilt was made out of marble! hahaha
I did not fool anyone, you fooled yourself ;-)
Oh!!! I got burned! Still good job on the illusion! If we ever meet? I wanna try holding that knife. Just to get the feel of the knife's hilt. It looks so good and eye catching. But i didn't really liked the shape of the blade though. It looks like it can be stuck to things easily. Sorry for my nitpick. Its my personal taste ^^'
When you bladesmiths drill a bunch of holes in the blade handle is that to take weight out of it and reinforce the handle? This is a beautiful knife by the way and the design is amazing.
To take weight out of it and reinforce the handle with glue
This guy definitely knows what he's doing!

Hey man just curious what tpi blade do you use on ur band saw ? Thanks man

I like the double sided tape method. I accidentally cracked scales once using super glue. Im going to have to steal that one
You can steal all the tips you want.
Does anybody know what the title if the first song is? I think it is a good song to listen to.
Hi,what is this measuring instrument that you are using at 25 seconds please
Curved French Ruler
You make knives with passion.
I try, thanks.
Could you tell me where you bought a Milwaukee Band Saw?
I bought it at Home Depot. I would suggest buying Dewalt because their table is way better than Milwaukee. You can buy a cheaper version at Harbor Freight.
As all ways, awesome knife👍
Keep up the great work👍
Wow this knife looks beautiful and epic, good job
True artistry in functional form ... thanks for sharing step by step video.
You are welcome.
Are these knives strong?
Or are knives that are forged stronger?
Forging does not make a knife stronger. When you forge ALL you are doing is moving hot steel to shape you want. Heat treating makes steel hard NOT forging.
Where do you get your spring steel? Keep up the good work btw!
I buy my steel from New Jersey Steel Baron.
Love this knife
Hey Tely! Did you heat treat the end of the handle as well? Or does it really need to be? Thanks!
I only heat treated the blade. There is no reason to make the handle steel hard because you are not going to cut with it.
Do you drill all those holes in the tang to lighten it up and bring the balance towards the blade?
Yes
Great work...how much for one....I'll take one....
love makes all the difference. And it makes it looking sooooo easy :-)
Very nice
Amazing work you have an eye for detail.
Thank you Mark
wonderful video and looking forward to part two!!!
It's there.

Sometimes but not now.

Dude brought his "A" game.
at the :19 mark what is the guide your using. and where could I find one?
