Omg… you would have done better at Old Navy! Seriously. I’ve bought some really nice things that are work friendly and very good prices. The quality on the pieces I got was much better than the price would suggest. And they have a terrific selection of plus sizes.
The distressed jeans and the blouse look great. I think that color green is verygood on you.
I just tried Daily Look and was disappointed that the stylist didn't even seem to read my requests of no t-shirts or sweats and no jumpers. Box had 2 t's, a sweatshirt, and a short jumpsuit. I did actually keep the jumper though as it was just too comfy and cute. As you said they took me out of my comfort zone. Keep up the great work
I read someone’s review saying that the stylist wrote her saying that they had a limited selection with the first box- that doesn’t make sense! I would think that you would want to hook clients by pulling out all of the stops for the first box! I’m sorry that it wasn’t a good one - boo!
Would only keep the jacket n the green faux wrap dress. A dark wash jeans would be better for the business casual look.

The jacket paired with the jumpsuit would've looked great together., the green dress looked great on you as did the sheer shirt with the skinny jeans. But the T-shirt would've been more flattering in a more vibrant color. I'm with you on the dress it was so blase.

Hey Linda!! I think that the prices were high- that is one of the things that I loved about shopping at Torrid, the prices were high initially, but there were always sales! That white dress is going to have me laughing for years!

Honestly I think the jumper look awesome on you yes it was strapless but a good strapless bra and a black Blazer or rap would look awesome for an evening out with some big hoop earrings and if you pulled your hair up really really cute

Love your sense of humor. Some advice I was given re:Purchasing clothes: Don't buy it if you can't see yourself wearing it at least 30 times. I might not go to that extreme but it has helped me put back some so-so items.

The jeans, hot pink top and blazer were really cute. Having said that I know you weren’t happy with the jeans. I would send it all back. Maybe give them another try though.
I decided to change stylists, but try them again. I think that I’m going to keep an eye out for jeans like those that fit just a smidge better!

I vote for the pants, the solid green shirt has too much of a gap at the bottom, you might want to go a size larger if you get that. The cream dress, cut it up for dust rags.

The jumpsuit was the best, plus you loved them. So I hope you kept them. I would just fold the top down and wear them as pants. The prices on that stuff was a bit high, I thought. All the sub clothing boxes are high though.

As a new mom, I'm going to suggest maybe the across zipper is for nursing access 😅 now why they'd send you that, no clue, but that's what I thought of when I saw how it opened!

@@BigonStyle Haha! Yeah, that white dress was not it. I did Nadine West for about a year but really grew tired of their qc issues…there was always an issue with something being listed on the inventory sheet that was not actually in the bag, and the correction process was cumbersome.
I haven’t seen more recent videos but 2 comments: 1) your videos have improved greatly in quality - lighting, audio, etc.! Great job in such a short time. 2) if you haven’t already incorporated this into subsequent videos could you please add a segment at the end that includes what you decided to keep? Or add it to the written intro? I’d love to see your final decisions. Sometimes it’s obvious but sometimes not.

The clothes looked great on you and I love the idea of turning the jumpsuit into pants (I kinda want It myself). I do think the green top is slightly tight on your belly though and may work better with some shape wear. Your critique of the white dress is hilarious. Also I don’t think the prices are that bad. My choices would be the navy blazer, the jumpsuit, and the floral top.

I'm not one to wear worn jeans either not at 67, oh gads can you imagine, lol. I have to say if you get a chance to buy a pair without the worn out stuff that resemble those jeans grab them cuz you look soooo skinny in them. How genius to hide a zipper there on that dress, it would go right over the hips so easy. I would totally wear that dress if the liner was black & the lace white. It would be so easy to make the jumper into a pair of pants. Do you do your own sewing? If so, if you find that you are uncomfortable with a plunging neck line you could buy some white eyelet fabric & build yourself a panel to fit in there. Bossy Pants is off to the next one!

That off white dress…. Yikes. It’s like the designer got their inspiration from an unwritten Stephen King story about a designer that grew up in a off off off shoot cult of Mormon mixed with a bit of Amish who wanted to take over the designer world through insane and terrifying means. Omg. Love your humor.

I’m very lat to this party. After seeing you in the previous 2 videos, I’m very sorry to say I didn’t like any of these items. I don’t think any of them were very flattering, you are a beautiful lady, and I think there is much better out there to flatter your curvaceous beautiful body. The prices seemed outrageous to me, when here in the UK you can get size 22 plus (my size) tee shirts blouses for under £20, and great quality distressed jeans, in short, medium and long leg for £30-£40 and dresses to. The reason I loved the previous 2 videos was that you can have clothes to fit your measurements. I’m only 5’ so everything is too long. It was a great video, I laughed along side you with that dreadful dress. ❤❤❤
I sew and have never seen a zipper across the waist. Maybe for breastfeeding.
Right? I think it has to be a mistake. The style of the dress felt like it needed a zipper on the back. It was odd all around. I did have one nursing mom respond that it made her think of nursing.
I hope you like your box better than I liked mine. I liked the green dress best!! I am 65 with grey/white hair, and they sent all beige tops. Oh, and one horrible purple flounce thing. Just awful. You see the ads and they show cute baby blue print tops etc. I just previewed my second box. They only let you reject 3 items. It was all awful. Bright orange and purple flowered long sleeve top and denim Bermuda cut-offs. I could do better myself. Unless they replace the 3 items with cute spring summer items, I'm done. Also, I'm 5 ft. Tall and they sent jeans that were a foot too long. I filled out their questions, but I really think they sent old stuff they couldn't get rid of. Just my opinion. They asked for comments on the awful tops. By the 3rd one, I just wrote ugly@@@!@

Right- very odd! Some people suggested nursing, but the sizing is off, it is just bad!
I think your legs are really greatly shaped. I think maybe a non-distressed skinny jean would look wonderful on you.
I wouldn’t keep any of it. I appreciate your review and definitely will avoid this styling box. The prices and many pieces are the same as Stitch Fix and Wantable. I find I can pick my own stuff on line and don’t need these so-called stylists. I’m sure most of them have no styling experience.
I totally hear you- I am going to stick with this box for a little longer, but it is not one of my favorites. I kept the jumpsuit and made it pants, I honestly love it that way, but shouldn’t have had to adapt a piece of clothing that was almost $100! I appreciate you reaching out and watching my channel!
You are very strong- if I got this box I would cry! Yuck Yuck Yuck - The only thing I would have considered would be the green dress (maybe). The rest looks like they got them from a charity shop. I hope you can cancel your subscription without losing money.
I just received my first Daily Look box. So disappointed. 8 items, not a one of them fit correctly. Keeping one just to not lose my $40. Will be canceling. My instructions I gave was that I'm only 5'1, 26 inch inseam, very short arms, long torso. Everything was too long and seasonally "off." Winter sweaters and a sweatshirt (for $89!!) Also, I never received a preview like you did. Took 3 weeks to receive. So disappointed. I will be canceling as I refuse to pay for tailoring at these price points. I've heard it's nearly impossible to cancel so I guess we will see.....
I get that this is a first box and styling can improve but I feel like I was very clear on sizing to start with. Clearly they either do not read your input or they do not carry lengths to fit me.
I would absolutely write customer service!!! That is awful, Amanda! I bet that they will have you ship it all back and restyle you for free so that you aren’t keeping something that just won’t work!! 😡😡😡 I will say that I did reach out to customer service in the middle, they wrote me back the same day, let me look for the email.

I feel like so much depends on your stylist. I spoke with a content creator on here who had multiple email exchanges prior to her shipments to ensure that the box contained items that she liked. I felt like mine did not even look at the notes to see if I was new or returning. I really hope that you can reach out to Customer Support and that they can try to make things better for you!
Oh, I'm so glad it wasn't just me. I'm 5 ft tall and one pair of jeans were about a foot too long. They ask what colors you like, but those are the colors they don't send. Who would send someone with gray/white hair, all beige, not cream or white, 3 beige ugly tops oh, and a brught purple flowered ruffle one. And even after I wrote bright colors or blues, yellows, and pinks, the next preview was a long sleeve orange and brown top, and then cut off Bermuda shorts. They wanted comments when you reject something, and at first, I wrote what I would like. Then I just wrote UGLY? Can't wait to see what the replace the 3 items with!!!

I kept that jumpsuit pants, and have worn them a couple of times. They are super comfortable, but we’re way overpriced! I do not know how much longer I Will continue to receive DAILYLOOK. It is kind of all over the place in style, pricing, and sizing.

Office wear? They sent shorts and distressed jeans and a strapless jumpsuit. Not in any office I have worked in could you wear those. The pink top could be made to work, the green top was not flattering. The white dress-good heavens, no! The green dress was good but a tad short for work. The floral top was great and the skinny jeans needed to be straight leg but they did look good except the distressing is stupid and inappropriate for office.

Time to dump this stylist. This is a perfect example of the following statement, "Just because you can fit into an item does not make it a good fit for you". A total miss on all items.

The only saving grace is this: You really fixed the strapless jumpsuit! They really looked amazing as pants, but you can find pants already made for less.
Seriously…this haul is way too expensive for crappy designed. The tee and denim shorts look cheaper than clothes I used to have to buy at Dollar General when we were very poor.
