One of our local restaurants adds very finely diced potatoes to their Brunswick stew. It's really good! I loved the pink egg you got this day. Miss Turkey's waddle just cracks me up! I don’t know if you’ve seen the “just bare” brand frozen chicken. I get them at food lion, but Ingles might have them too. Anyway, they make a spicy filet and we are loving those!

We love Brunswick stew. My Grandma recipe takes 2 days to make. The first day you cook at the meats(chicken, stew beef, and beef ribs) and the second day you shred the meat and add the vegetables and cook all day in a deep stock pot. It makes enough to last all winter so we put it in containers and freeze it. Just cook some cornbread to go with it and you have a wonderful meal. It is wonderful to take out of the freezer on a busy night when your tired and heat up. It taste just like grandmas house. ❤
Is Brunswick stew one of those things where everybody has their own recipe? Growing up visiting my grandparents in GA, they made huge batches of it but they used chicken and hogs head meat…it was tomato based with a lot of pepper and they made it thick to eat like pulled pork and plenty of pickles….i always thought that was the only way it was made…I really wish I had kept that recipe

Hey Falon,Baby gurl went to her ob/gyn today for her after surgery appt., she was cleared to go back to work today and still no lifting 10 lbs. and up,i told her she better not to,she closes the store tonight,i don't like when she has to close the store even though there's someone else with her,my niece Chelsie that has been having heart problems isn't doing good,as far as i know she still only has 25 % of her heart working, she has to have help with the baby,She may have to have a heart pump and later a transplant,i hate street drugs so much or any drug like that,if she was able she would make a great advocate,hope y'all have a blessed night and evening!
