Shrek: The only intelligent Supermutant in the world due to a rare mutation that caused him to retain a human mind. A misfit in the eyes of his fellow Supermutant brethren and eventually cast out by them, Shrek decided to live in solitude in an irradiated swamp he claimed so he can live in peace. However, his peaceful if a bit lonely life would be cut short after Synths attacked his swamp and declared it official property of the Institute, now Shrek must embark on a quest to take down the Institute and Father Shaun so that he can have his home back, on the way he makes alliances with Preston Garvey who slowly but surely becomes Shrek’s first real friend and Fiona, a woman with a unique mutation that causes her to become an intelligent Supermutant at night who was under the imprisonment of the Brotherhood of Steel and guarded by a winged Deathclaw before Shrek and Preston rescued her, the unlikely trio of heroes ban together to take down Father and end his steel-plated reign.
A ton of the super mutants were smart, Bethesda just sucks and ignores the lore of FO1, 2, and NV

I love that I didn’t even realize that Garvey was put on the roof because Shrek’s head is turned upwards for that line. Settlers somehow ending up on roofs is just normal for Fallout 4.

I think when you fast travel, npcs will be randomly placed placed around settlements. The roofs of the Sanctuary houses are "valid to stand on" and npcs can be placed there.
Plus the "but I'm already on a quest" elevates that one clip into godhood. The whole video is hilarious and works weirdly well, but that one clip alone has me crying

@@randallporter1404 Yes especially Trashcan Carla's Pack-Brahmin seems to love the roofs of Sanctuary. And the top of a giant roadsign, that happened for me once.
I think it was the big giant roadsign where you can meet Carla ingame for the first time and somehow the Brahmin was ontop of the roadsign for obvious physics engine bug reasons.
Making games as a professional Game Developer is difficult, i guess.
Shrek just sounds like my internal monologue when playing a Bethesda game. I almost forgot how well written Shrek is as a character.

Shrek: An ogre and a veteran of the old world. Now, all he wants, is to be left alone in his swamp so he could have some peace and to reflect on how everything went wrong.
That is until his swamp becomes a hiding spot for escape Synths, so he goes on a quest to eliminate both the Institute and Brotherhood of steel so the Synths go away from his swamp (he didn't feel like following the freedom trail)
But along the way way he rescued Preston Garvey, who has stuck by his side ever since…much to Shrek’s annoyance.

@@DutchDouchebag I have clocked 60 hours in that game and never actually got to Boston, too many settlements that needed help.
@hawkins347 with the nuka cola wxpansion you can raid the settlements you created, that was fun though.
Even though i had to downgrade some settlements because it's kinda hard going up against 80 rocket turrets
I was so annoyed with Preston ALWAYS needing me to HELP settlements that I was about to blow myself up along with Preston

I know these take a while, but it'd be cool to have 3 minutes or so instead of a minute and a half at best. It feels like we don't even get a taste of the actual feel of the collab of character/game. This could go on for 5 minutes and it wouldn't feel dragged out.
@@a-a-rondavis9438 I think it's combination of a) that it already takes long enough to make a video of this length but more importantly b) YT audiences have a short attention span, they likely would stop watching anything longer than 3 minutes so there's no benefit for the creator to make it longer
when I'm sad I come back here and re-watch this masterpiece, and not only it put a smile on my face, but makes me want to rewatch shrek.

Notified now. This is simply perfect. Shrek fits into Fallout perfectly. Also, seeing Garvey work the parallel bars while sending you to save another settlement is super approrpriate.

It’s pretty uncanny that shrek seems to fit pretty well with the fallout 4 environment, especially with the creation engine that was created all the way back in 2003

@@pigpuke Well at least bethesda isn't counting it, so rather than getting new capable engine, they made a space game where you can't controll ship most of the time and you travel between planets by pointing cursor on the location.

Well it is canon that the ogres in the series can be just about a foot taller than all other humans. So I’d say you’re kinda correct
