I've had sales get completely upended by moms, wives, girlfriends in the past. One time, a lady literally snatched a Wii U out of my hands that her BF sold me for $20.
Scotty Cameron putters are very expensive...I know people want to find them at yard sales for super cheap to make a fortune off them, the guys price was actually on the ball...that's what resellers would ask and maybe even more.
Good finds out there today John.👌 The bongos are pretty cool and all the video games for a buck.🎉😍 Love the Jordan's too.🙀 The Scotty Cameron putter was really high priced that guy was 🤪 nuts.🤣 Take care.👍🔥❤️🤘
I recently bought 600 zippos half from the 90s and half from 22,23. From 2 different machine shops that have contracts with zippo. They are prototypes and mock ups of zippos that where never mass produced the down side about 300 of them don't have inserts. Zippo will give you a new insert for free if you send it in but only 5 at a time it's gonna be a long winter
I haven't had a yard sale since "picking" has become sort of the norm, but I'd imagine it's kind of a buzz kill to encounter one. I think of Snoopy lady. She was probably a big Snoopy fan and was excited to find another Snoopy fan, possibly even wanting to have a conversation about it, only for you to tell her that you're a picker, basically saying you don't care about it. Nothing against you or what you guys do...I just wonder if it sort of takes the fun out of having a yard sale, encountering so many customers who don't have any interest in what they're buying.
Dumb comment. You don’t have sales for fun and if you do then you need a new hobby. Your way of thinking is what holds people back from making sales profitable. My wife has had plenty of sales and the one thing I tell her is just make money. Don’t be prideful, take a fair offer. It’s a SALE, not a fan festival. You are having it to make money, not friends.
Another great video. Is it just me or have you noticed more yard sales not pricing things and wait till you ask a price? Thanks for the shout out. He was shocked and couldn't believe you mentioned him. Have a great week and looking forward to the next video.
The other day, I bought for $2.00 Pokémon Black Version 2 for the Nintendo DS Game, and it's up to $92.00 on my ebay page. If you ever come acreoos it but it, you'll do well.
Let me teach y'all about economics. If the acid rain has NOT discolored the concrete and there is a COMMUINITY SALE already..... SAVE YOUR MONEY! DONT YARD SALE!
Too Early is just rude John. In my area people don't even post garage sales much because people were showing up at 6 in the morning, and sometimes the night before all to be the first one there. It has killed garage sales here because people don't want to deal with the disrespectful folks who can not wait. Messaging them to old things and ask prices the night before. I like your videos, but the "am I too early" is a question that you ask all too often and sets a bad example.
I never show up more than 30 minutes early to a sale. Asking them if I’m too early allows them the opportunity to say “yes, please come back later” which several people have done. You’re overthinking this one
Husband’s going to say “YOU SOLD MY JORDANS FOR $10?!”
@@Kolag 😂
@@cincinnatipickeryeah he definitely wanted more…not less
There jordan fives fusions there not really worth much
12:09 "Do you need change?" even garage sales have tip jars now, lol.
That was odd...
He/She was just a nervous weirdo that probably sells things once every 5 years, that was just awkwardness I think.
Looks like a Starbucks worker that forgot where they were.
@@jaredhammon344 hahaha so true!
It's because he said $3 each then reluctantly said both for $3 and was hoping the buyer picked up on that with a $2 tip.
Read the room people.
I wanted to say how much I love your videos. I am going through a tough time right now. But your videos make me happy and relaxed!
Keep your head up, better days are ahead!
That 2nd sale woman was not happy that you were there. Lol. Her “hah” said it all.
Always a few nervous homeowners out there that aren't used to strangers on their property.
Love the videos especially you being honest and showing garage sales you don’t buy anything from!!!
Great finds today! Love the content! The Snoopy blo-mold for the win!
I've had sales get completely upended by moms, wives, girlfriends in the past. One time, a lady literally snatched a Wii U out of my hands that her BF sold me for $20.
That’s wild!
👏
I bought that same Snoopy blowmold at a garage sale for $30 and that was a great price. It's a $200+ item!
From how I understood it the husband was probably asking $50 and she said that was unfair and accepted the $10.
I think you had it backwards, I think the wife lowered the husband's price on the shoes, he was probably at $40
That was my thought too. The guy's probably the one who bought them and knows how much he spent. No way would he have been asking $5 for them.
I agree. She wanted to get rid of them and thought her husband was asking too much.
I was thinking the same thing about the price.
The Peacock chair @ 6:25 is pretty valuable
Love the videos .... watching here from Northern Scotland.
Hi CP, It's great to see you out hustling for the best deals. 💜
The guy with golf club was crazy pricing
Scotty Cameron putters are very expensive...I know people want to find them at yard sales for super cheap to make a fortune off them, the guys price was actually on the ball...that's what resellers would ask and maybe even more.
$225 for a freaking putter? Yeah, that's never going to sell.
He's actually not as far off as you might think. Scotty Cameron stuff is crazy expensive.
Great content, I love watching you deal with people, because I am terrible at it!

"You need change?" guy... was he expecting a tip, or was he just no good at math?
Just awkward I think lol
I wonder if people get angry when you arrive early before they have time to set up.
For beginner pickers how do you know what to look for that’s value/worth reselling?
Watch as many different UA-camrs as you can, there’s an infinite amount of free knowledge out there with what to buy. Good luck!

I would have offered $40 for the Jordan Golf shoes, they probably sent him the correct size and just told him to keep those.
Exactly what I was thinking. Dude wasn’t having a garage sale, he was out there asking full price for shit.
Nice one on the Snoopy blow mold ! You get out so early I think most folks haven't even gone to bed yet. Early picker get the picks !
I’m a little behind watching videos, but I hope the Shawshank anniversary was cool. I live about an hour from there, but recovering from surgery.
The Scotty was probably a good buy at 150-200..the Phantom's are over 100% sell through and go between 220-350
Nice hau John - I love buying weird golf bags, they always seen to sell fairly quick. Hopefully the snoopy deal comes through.
OMG great Snoopy finds!!!
So I'm thinking about filming when I go to yard sales what's the laws to that and do ppl ever get mad and ask questions

awesome find on Snoopy blow mold
What’s up CP! Long time subscriber and I’m just wondering how do you pack to ship golf clubs if not selling locally? Thanks!
Some nice things you were able to get at them garage sales. Nice vid
What size are the jordans??
10:20 - I have an interested buyer wanting to give me money and let me just turn my back to him and focus on putting tags on stuff.
How much would you’ve paid for the Scotty Cameron putter?
$150 max. They were selling between $250-$300 on eBay
John wanted to get out of there as fast as possible getting them for 10
You was really in Mansfield ??? Dang I would loved to get to meet you 😢
What is your eBay store? I can’t find you
Putting those glasses inside the shoes is crazy ngl

It’s hit or miss if they price it. Thanks so much for your guys support!

Awe man I would have bought that snoopy blow mold and used it as a Christmas decoration!!
CP!!!
How much you selling snoopy for?
The guy with the golf stuff was ridiculous. He clearly didn't want to sell anything.
Awesome always 😊
anyone can easily go just as early guy. not un fair at all
Curious why you passed on the hats? Kids today love the odd colors associated with the teams and these all looked new.
Curious what the husband wanted on the shoes. Less than $10 for sure…
Was that Two Dollars and Twenty Five Cents for the Scotty Cameron ??
I thought all fusion Jordan’s came with a hologram on the inside of the tongue under “the best of both worlds” I could be wrong though
You honestly thought he was asking $5 on the Jordan’s?
guy said 225 for putter couldn't of run out of there quicker
I hate that question am I to early. If the garage sale is at 8:00 and you’re there at 7:55 guess what. You’re too early. Come on man!!
dude wont sell nothin with 2 and a quarter pricing......
He is asking what a reseller would. Not a deal but not crazy ether for that putter.
You missed out on leica camera 😭
Great video
$200 snoopy blow mold first sale
I feel like those Jordan’s are fake

“Am I too early?” haha

It's not like the old days, resellers are making it a nightmare for collectors to hunt in the wild these days.

Sometimes people are still setting after the posted start time and out of kindness I will ask if I am too early.
@@kathyv8897 I think that is perfectly fine.
