Thank you, as always, for the support everyone! If you wanted to help us save more animals, then please like, share and, most of all, SUBSCRIBE to our channel. It really does help us a great deal! It's definitely been a difficult year, but we will never stop and will be back doing what we do for decades to come. Thank you all and best wishes for Christmas and the new year from all of us here!
I really adore the "did you know" tags that let people know exactly what they might be wondering or worrying at that moment. It's clear that years of being on the internet and reading the comments on your videos have made you keen on what people will be concerned or curious about, and you give us the answers right then and there, clear and concise! That's damn good education work, right there!
Aw, the look in his eyes on the close up of him in the Kennel. He's so beautiful. I'm glad you guys and gals were able to help him, so sad about the entanglement, but in a way it's lucky he got caught so you could help get it off him and treat his injury so he can go home back to the wild! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
So satisfying to see the care that WA gives to these magnificent wild animals, foxes get an unfair bad press from city dwellers but inadvertently we do them all the harm and they just get on with their lives. they were around long before we were in towns and cities.
Poor Mr Fox 😣 that must have been hurting after 4 hours!! And what a job to cut him free 😨 but free he now is, always nice to see endings like this one. Thanks Lawrie, camera lady 😊 and the care given at WAF ♡♡♡
1) "Not Simon" is NEVER a problem 2) Give Simon my best. Cancer SUCKS. 3) Lawrie, you are wonderful and I look forward to many years of supporting WAF and seeing you and the team give comfort to and save wildlife all over the UK, and the world.
Despite long hours, The Fox did well. Had to get it back for his Tail to be groomed and his Constricted Leg wound to be healed and dressed. Well done. This fox will be well for the Holidays!
Oh, that poor scared foxy! Many thanks to Lawrie, Abbey, Simon and every single other person at Wildlife Aid, plus of course the residents for calling such professionals in to rescue the poor lad! I loved Lawrie at 05:28 "In fact, he's a bit angry" and immediately thought "Well, yeah, he's been staying in a 5-star resort for a couple of months, and now you're evicting him without warning! I'd be pretty grumpy about it too!" 😆
Of course, we love Simon. But I'm never disappointed when Lawrie fills in. They are both incredibly kind and do an amazing job of tending to our planets inhabitants that need human intervention. Great job, Lawrie!
This is such a heart warming story because it demonstrates how brilliant you guys are for taking so much care and forward consideration. Most people would probably have just given him a once over and let him go on the spot, as he looked quite unscathed, but you went the extra mile just in case of an eventuality that actually did occur. Wildlife Aid are the best 💜
Always love the positive responses from the people who call WAF for help. You can just hear it in their voices how terrible they feel that they let that netting hang there and got a poor animal injured and in pain. Hopefully it's a warning that will spread via word of mouth with every rescue mission like this one, saving many animals from getting entangled in the future. Awesome job as usual! :)
This poor homeowner didn't have any netting in her garden! The fox was tangled elsewhere then got stuck on the stump! Thanks so much for the support :)
@@wildlifeaid That must have made it so much more shocking to see that poor animal stuck like that. At the very least the neighbours will have heard all about it, possibly even the ones who suddenly were missing a piece of netting from their garden :)
Any rescue video with a fox is always one I eagerly welcome. Beautiful animals with a mischievous charm and a way of getting in trouble with their sense of adventure, something like that. 🙂
Wildlife Aid is so incredible. You guys are heroes and always my first call for the wounded animals I find. Lawrie is also becoming somewhat of a legend round here, as he seems to be the person we get coming out on rescues the most since Simon got ill. 🌷🌸 You guys are amazing
Thank you so much, that's so kind of you to say. We really appreciate the support :) Yes, Lawrie has been doing most of our 'dangerous' callouts (and all of our overnight calls) recently. Simon is still recovering but feeling much better!
Foxy Loxy said Waiting for Superman is hard work..... I knew he would come to help me 💗💗💗💗 God Bless You Lawrie and all of the rescuers 🦊🦊🦊🦊. Much love and deepest respect and admiration.
Please... would you consider uploading twice a week again... (or - more)??? I love your video's, they're the BEST on UA-cam!! Thanks for caring for this unfortunate fox! Love from the Netherlands!
Thanks so much, that's really kind of you to say! We will certainly see what we can do, but video editing takes quite some time and, currently, we only have Lawrie able to edit these videos for you (and he's often out on rescues). Hopefully we can find someone else in the new year!
@@wildlifeaid Hmmm... I may be able to help a little bit with that... I only use free software (OpenShot and Audacity), though, and I use it on a Linux computer. I made my first online video course years ago, on a 24-bit computer, which was hard, so I have learned a few things along the way. Maybe I can do some early stage cutting? Ask Lawrie, perhaps? I'm in Portsmouth. I often wish I was closer to you, because then I could help with some of the rescues and with the treatments and I could also clean and what not. But in theory, I may be able to help you with some of the editing. I know that going through the videos to do the clipping takes a lot of time and can also be tedious (and I was thinking "it's also relatively risk-free because I have this hacker who interferes with just about everything that I do and that forces me to limit the risk to others) if I only took out all... could clip out all the... and then my hacker interfered and pulled down the screen, so that's a no no, I guess. (Sorry. I should have known better. He also interfered when I wanted to start working with wildlife here locally.)
Merry Christmas Greetings from Vienna, it's always such a delight seeing your videos! My mother had encountered a fox once in the city, which was confusing her since the area she was in was decidedly NOT suburban, but rather very much concrete and stone (but there was a small water protection area close by). It's important to live in peace with our furry and feathered neighbours, yeah.
😱 cor at first that looked really nasty, but luckily it didn't take long to get him out, it's a good job you got him seen by the vet. Long job to get him well again. Outstanding video thanks 💖😁
We were REALLY worried about a break at first. We were probably in the car in less than 5 minutes! Thanks so much for the kind support. We really appreciate it!
Thank you so much for the life of this lucky fellow, and the many other animals you have saved this year! 🤗 To all of you at Wildlife Aid, wishing you a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year (and many more happy rescues) 🎄

What a fantastic team effort to get this beautiful boy back home 💜 A huge and heartfelt Merry Christmas to all the staff and volunteers at WAF! Awesome rescue and it's good how you guys mention to not set an animal who was constricted free without a proper check-up. And this is a case where it could have gone horribly wrong if the fox was set free immediately. So very good job by the team to taking the fox in, even without seeing any injuries on him.
Thanks very much! It's definitely very important to let a trained professional deal with cases like this. You may have the very best intentions by trying to release a trapped animal, but it can often end in issues like this without the correct treatment!
Wow even though I wish he didn't have to go through that, it is good to see the reason for the whole constriction injury concern. Normally they're fine after you bring them back but this proves that they always need checked.
