The End.
That rough and bumpy skin is probably keratosis pilaris. It's super common and hella annoying.
Yes that's what it is! I was trying to think of the proper term, it drives me mad! Sarah Rae Vargas
Kirstie Mills hey girls ! Paula's choice has a cream especially designed to treat the keratosis polaris here's the link www.paulaschoice.com/shop/skin-care-categories/body-care/_/Resist-Weightless-Body-Treatment-with-Two-Percent-BHA/ ..... hope I helped :)
Love your channel! You are amazing ♡
Sarah watches Nicole ! 😻😻❤️❤️ my fav you tubers in one
Thanks! :) Bianca d
Thank you for mentioning Seche Vite! I am a mother of two and I dread spending so much time painting and drying my nails just to have them ruined. I went right out to buy it and it has been a life saver! I now look forward to paining my nails again!
i could literally listen to you talk about beauty for hours i am obsessed w/ u girl
RACHEL! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS GIRL
omg rachel ilysm!
OMG! People think I am crazy when I say fragrance-free products have a distinct "fragrance-free" scent. Glad I am not the only one who feels that way. 😊
I really want to step away from dry shampoos - they make my hair feel so damaged and dry. Maybe I'll try baby powder. The reason I haven't so far is because I don't like the scent. 😝 Do you find it lingers?
Haha I was thinking the same thing when she said that! They have a very specific smell.
"Fragrance free" does not mean that there is no fragrance. It means there is no ADDED perfume to the formula. However if the ingredients used to make the lotion, for example, already have a scent to them then the product will have that scent. "Fragrance free" is more in response to some companies that add perfume to their products to cover up the scent of some ingredients. For example, Burberry highlighters are often perfumed with their fragrances.
Nope! Baby powder on the hair wont linger. Your hair will feel a bit.. dusty though like powdery and thick haha idk how to explain that
Try baking powder, baking soda, or corn starch if you don't like the smell of baby powder - they do the same thing but no baby smell! :)
Thank you so much Nicole!! 😊💗 I'm glad you enjoy SocialEyes 😝🙌
Corn starch is AMAZING! It soaks all of the oil up and keeps more from being produced ALL day. Definitely try it
The little bumps on your arm is called keratosis pilaris. It's something that I have and almost every woman in my family has as well. It is VERY common and it is hereditary so see if anyone else in your family has it. It's basically just a type of eczema that will never go away :/. What you can do to help make it smoother is scrub the parts of your arms that are bumpy with a wash cloth when your in the shower and as soon as you get out, apply an ointment (my dermatologist recommended Aquaphor). Ever since I've done that, the bumps have gotten a lot less rough. Hopefully this will be of some help to you :).
Try AmLactin
Paula's Choice Skincare has products specifically for Keratosis Pilaris.
I have it too and it always pissed me off! I find that shaving really helps, cause it seems to start from the root of body hair! I also put a lot of moisturizer and I exfoliate quite a bit!
I have it as well and i have a horrible patch of exzema on the back of my neck that has never gone away :( putting lotion their is such a huge pain
Yep I have it too
I hate the smell of the Rough & Bumpy skin, but my arms are visibly bumpy (they always have been) and it's helping a lot! I've done it every day for about 3 weeks now and I can totally see a difference.
Seriously who would hit the dislike button so fast! The nerve of some people. Love you Nicole I look forward too your videos.
Haterssssss. That's who! Love you nicole! :)
I'm with you girl about not wanting to wait for FOREVER for nails to dry. Thanks for the tip!
That red lip looks goegeous on you girl !!! =)
I agree
Why thank you! :)
your very welcome :)
I remember always using baby powder in my hair back before the dry shampoo days. Your nail color is amazing!!!! 💜Kohli
Loved this video Nicole! And your kind spirit! You bring a light to youtube 😉☀️
Thanks love! 143.
I agree!! Jordan Braaten :) 143!
Fiercely Demure what's 143? Lol.
143 means I Love You:
I - 1 letter
LOVE - 4 letters
YOU - 3 letters
Hope this helps :)) Sara Eldred
I love talkative Nicole! Makes me feel like in the room with you having a conversation! ❤️
Literally sat here reloading the page for 10 minutes when i saw you're twitter post. Love you beautiful.
Imani Gaudin Stalking status....nice! ;p
LOL. Been mastering since 98.
Whenever I use baby powder in my hair it keeps the grease away for about 3 days, an amazing find for someone who used to have to wash their hair everyday and now only has to every three days. Amazing stuff!
You know a blemish is bad when it tries to talk to you! Lol I've had a few of those myself.
It's like "No I do not want to chat, please leave!!!" ;p
I love that you included baby powder! it's so much easier (and cheaper) than most dry shampoos. Love your vids!
Those liquid lipsticks look amazing! I want!
I really really really want sad girl. It's so unique!
I just ordered one.. opsie haha
I can't believe how I can just sit here and watch your videos from start to finish.. You seem so down to earth and I have learned so much from you, but in a good way that doesn't make you seem like a know it all :) thanks for another great video LOVE IT
Ooh girl, rocking the pale skin. Looking gorgeous!! I love youuuu
MsJujubee3 Hahaha trying to!! :p
The first thing I notice of course is your watch, not the products you are talking about, lol! I have the exact same watch, I first bought it in silver, and then when I saw that it also came in gold with a green face, I had to have it! Green is my absolute fav colour and every time I wear this watch I get so many compliments!!! Girl, you've got taste! Sending love from Australia!!!!!
gave it a like before the video started cuz i know id like it anyways duh
Alexa Tarabay That's how you know it's real. :)
OMG!!! I use baby powder also. It is great for absorbing the oil and creating texture. My hair color is chocolate cherry and it does not leave a white cast once it is rubbed in.
Try these nail drops from essence... they sell it at ulta... One drop on each nail and your polish is dry to the touch almost immediately. You can also put that sally top coat in the fridge for about 20 minutes before you use it, it'll thin the polish out thus making it dry quicker ;)
Tiffany Klotz I was wondering if that worked or now! I must try them now :)
Lacy Nicole also Sally's has a nail polish thinner that works great to keep Seche Vite thin. Seche Vite is cheaper at Sally's. It's the bomb!!!
Thanks for the info Pistol~Vixen I really appreciate it!!
Lacy Nicole i bought them on a whim and now I can't be without them! I paint my nails at LEAST 3x a week and can't handle sitting in one place for more than 5 minutes. Try using cuticle oil over the whole nail after using the drops. I learned this trick a few years back; if you bump into anything the oil creates a barrier and prevents smudges ;)
Thanks Tiffany Klotz I can't wait to try them :)
Love your makeup in this video!! But you always look perfect so no surprises there!
Corn starch is way better than baby powder! If you're oily, set your face with it and OMG! HG status in my opinion.
No problem😊
WHAT?! you can set your makeup with it?? Must try thanks for the tip :)
It absorbs oil amazingly well!
The goosebumpy skin is not the Florida water! I am in Toronto Canada and I have that on my arms too. I try to exfoliate but doesn't help. I will try the cream, thanks for the recommendation gorgeous! Been watching your videos for years now and you are still my favorite! Xo
I love that you ALWAYS leave om the description box what you're wearing!!💁❤️
I cannot trust Seche Vite or any other fast drying top coat. I use all different types of base coats and color polishes and for me to get a manicure with no smudges or dents it has to be 40 minutes to 1 hour of drying time. It may be my own nail chemistry. I just find a movie or show to watch, relax and try not to stare at the clock the whole time. lol.
Ah my nails NEVER want to dry either :/ So I just purchased a shellac machine :)
For some reason Seche Vite never really worked on me like the way it seems to work and do wonders for everyone else that talks about it here on UA-cam... Have you tried Poshe top coat? 💅 I got it from Sally's on a whim, and was amazed that it FINALLY did the trick for me! Truly does dry completely through and it dries pretty fast and is super shiny!
I have yet to try it! Thanks, I will pick it up next time I go shopping :)
I haven't tried Poshe, but my fave for now is Rica's Glossy Glam. It's an indie top coat. When that runs out then im gonna order "Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat" It has great reviews.
Lacy Nicole I hope you it works for you too! 👍😊
Girl!! you and your accents, bloopers, jammin, and full package of beautifulness is just EXTRAORDINARY! you must do a video with only using your accent because I think its just SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER SUPER awesome! lol, just love watching your videos because they always make me happy, laugh and smile (:
What nail polish you have on? In the description it says it is Seas The Day by China Glaze but it's not :( Pls answer,I'm dying to know!
It's actually called I sea the point
Thank you,God bless your soul :D
Yass! I have been going crazy looking for this shade!
Nicole I owe you a big big BIG thank you for the baby powder trick... I have long thick hair that seems to get greasy within 3 hours of washing and I've given up on trying to find a shampoo that will keep it clean and then you come along with the baby powder advice and its THE BEST THING EVER! I now have clean non-greasy fluffy hair and its all thanks to you :) 143 x
So do you use baby powder instead of dry shampoo?
Fabiola Mendez Yessss, I think it just works better on my hair. Sometimes I feel like dry shampoo makes my hair feel more dirty....or maybe I just haven't found the right one!
Nicole Guerriero OMG you actually answered my comment...thank you thank you btw I loove all of your videos you're so beautiful 😆😄😃😮
Nicole Guerriero i feel the same way! The only dry shampoos I've come to actually believe in are not your mother's, salon grafix , And this one from Sally's beauty which comes in regular scent and MINT. Kinda weird spraying minty smelling stuff in my hair but the stuff works! I used to do baby powder but i cant stand the smell sadly
just read the bottle its from "naturelle" and Its called Bioterra scalp refresh
I feel the same way about dry shampoo. My hair feels even dirtier than before I sprayed the dry shampoo in it. I thought it was only me. Definitely going to try the baby powder w/🌽starch.
I have dark hair and i use equal parts cornstarch and cocoa powder. I keep it in a powdered sugar shaker and im good to go! Plus the cocoa powder adds a nice subtle scent!
Girl I have them bumps too on the back of my arm but there like the slightest bit red, any recommendations on a good exfoliator ? ...and can we be like best friends ? (; love u Nicole 💋❤
Atopiclair
It's probably eczema- I've always had it, too. Try not to aggravate it by scrubbing against it too much x
Super common!! It's called keratosis pilaris :)
Murad Acne Body Wash!
I work at sephora, and we always recommend that wash for your condition! And people always come back for it when they run out! :)
I have it too and i find exfoliating doesn't do as much as moisturizing, if you find a good non scented moisturizer to use 1-2 times a day it'll be noticeably lessened over a few weeks :)
those bumps on your arm are called keratosis pillars baby girl!! i have it too on my arms and the back of my legs. sugar and olive oil scrubs help a TON and using a super thick moisturizer makes a big difference too. try exfoliating 4 times a week. i know it sounds excessive but it really helps!
What bracelet are you wearing with your watch? And where did you get your name necklace?
Ayesha Jones I have the exact same question! Isn't the dainty bracelet so cute!
I want to know that too!!!! I want that bracelet
Yay loving your energy in this video
I want to try your new products so bad!
G I V E A W A Y HERE! :)
She is by far my favourite you tuber, always bubbly and never disappoints!
I love you more and more in each video Nicole. Can you please let me borrow your face for a couple hours?
Yaaaasss you described my life. Number one reason why I don't like doing my nails. . . It takes forever to dry! Even with fast drying polish but I will definitely have to try the Seche Vite one for sure!
OMG! I'm so glad you reviewed the Gold Bond moisturizer!! I've been wanting to try it, but wasn't sure if it really helped your skin like it claims. I get rough and bumpy areas on my upper back of the arms too!! Thank you!!
Girl, your brows look so good in this video! I can't stop staring at them! Love you.
The scrub of your life from soap and glory is AMAZING for the bumps (you're right exactly like goose bumps) !! 💗💗💗💖😍
if you have dark hair and want to use baby powder mix it with w equal parts cocoa powder. smells great and there is not a trace of white. I do it when i run out of dry shampoo!!
I loveee watching her videos sooo much
Nicole Guerriero for those bumps use your clarisonic once a week it deep exfoliates them and helps smooth then out and that lotion you're using will help a lot. After a month or so you should hardly notice they're there!
when she said "hey girl ready to party" and almost poked her eye lol! don't know why it made me laugh so much and rewatch it a few times.
but I love your videos girl, always entertaining to watch :)
Rough and bumpy skin is keratosis pilaris.its a very common skin condition.
Girllll you're makeup is ***FLAWLESS. LOVE IT
Your makeup hair and outfit here look so good. Love you Nicole!
Haha! The intro to my January Favorites was almost identical! 'Better late then never, right??' Love you Nicole!
Nicole Guerriero The rough and bumpy skin you have on your arms is called Keratosis Pilaris. It is very common (50% of world's population), and I also suffer from it on the back on my arms. My dermatologist recommended exfoliating with salicylic acid, using KP duty or AmLactin. Anything with Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are good. The new Goldbond lotion you recommended is also good!
You're back to wearing winged liner! Yassss! Bringing the fierce back!
Your personality makes me smile inside ☺️
I could listen to your goofiness all day! 😘
I love these ABH liquid lipsticks, they look awesome!
Love Nicole so much!!! She seems so genuine!
DIY dry shampoo: corn starch + dried vanilla bean !
Works great, inexpensive, and smells wonderful, too!
Your bun looks fabulous and effortless. Love you so much!
Nicole, you should definitely try the LUSH Cosmetic's dry shampoo called 'No Drought'. It's cornstarch based so it's still a powder (it looks just like baby powder). It's full of citrus essential oils which help to absorb excess oil, add volume and a fresh scent. It's amaaaazing!!
Hi Nicole!
What you have on your arms is called Keratosis Pilaris, or "chicken Skin".
I work at sephora, and everytime somebody comes in with this condition, we always recommend Murad Acne Body Wash.
Even though it isn't acne that you have, the wash has medicine in it that helps with inflamed and irritated skin. It contains
green tea and licorice root extracts that help with your problem. My co-worker has the same condition, and she uses the wash, and it has helped her dramatically!
I hope you see this, because I would love to help!!!
It also has Glycolic and Salicylic acids, which help even more :)
Fragrance free means that there were no added fragrances, so what you're smelling in fragrance free products is the natural scent with no additives :)
Hi Nicole I use to have that bumpiness on my arm use exfoliator three times a week on your arms !!! It saved me !
I have the same feeling on my arms sometimes! I can't wait to try that moisturizer! Love your videos never get tired of them.
Literally watching you on big screen TV and absolutely love you, you are rocking the red lips girl
For the bumpy skin on your arms I would really recommend to scrub it in the shower and then follow with Bio-Oil!! I swear by that oil - I use it for all problems with my skin! You should really try it - I started using it and afterwards my skin felt perfect for a long time. Bio-Oil has like a manual on how to use - something like two times a day for 2-3 weeks - but I saw results way before that!
Bio oil is the best oil! I am obsessed with it. It got rid of my dry patches on my face, good on cuticles, on brows at night. Plus the smell is very nice compared to other oils like Argan oil which is too thick for my liking.
Love when you're extra talkative! Love your spirit 💋
Nicole Guerriero it's called keratosis pilaris! I have it too! It's also known as chicken skin and I could exfoliate and moisturize a million times a day and still not get rid of it completely. I've heard coconut oil helps with it and my doctor actually said if would tan that would help with KP too.
There's those bloopers and singing I love!
your personality is fabulous
Thank you for making me LOL, I love your videos more than anyone else's on UA-cam.
I too have been using baby powder in my hair for at least 35 years. It works wonders!!!
Would love to see your current powder foundation (no makeup) routine!!
I really wish you could have a video uploaded every day! i love when you post new videos, makes my day! you're so beautiful and inspiring. Never change! xoxo.
Nicole you can use the L'Oreal texture perfector on your arms! That's what I used for the same thing. Can't see them but can feel them. And after using it my arms are now smooth!
Love this!!!!! Anastasia liquid lips are amazing!
Corn starch with some coco powder mixed in so it darker for darker hair if you're scared of looking gray from the baby powder.
You can also use cocoa powder for oily roots!
Nicole... I work for a dermatologist & those bumps behind your arms are called Keratosis Pilaris (KP for short). Don't ever pick them because they will scar &/or discolour. Moisturizing is your best bet! Try "Dream Cream" from LUSH... it was work wonders on my KP situation.
the bumpy skin on your arms is called keratosis pilaris aka chicken skin. I have it. Its a skin condition there's no cure (usually goes away after you're 30 though) but it just basically means your body produces too much keratin and it needs to get rid of it somehow so it excretes through your pores and traps the hair follicle causing it to become a bump. hope this helps someone lol :)
Omg I could literally just hear you talk and talk about beauty stuff or about anything for that matter lol I'm obsessed 🙈 I love you Nicole 💕
Love you and your videos!
You have a great, down to earth and fun personality!
I have the same thing on my arms and legs. I tried the Buffy butter bar from Lush and OMG it works wonders. I'm 27, nothing else has worked so well.
Baking powder works great in my hair. Same thing gets rid of oiliness and creates volume and doesn't look white. Also textures the hair :)
"lush-no drought" is hands down my absolute favourite dry shampoo! Similar consistency to baby powder, but with all the goodness for your hair :)
Always the cutest! Love your faves girllllll! ❤️
Baby powder is such a miracle product haha - it has so many uses! Haha! I don't mind belated favorites! Favorites are favorites I don't care when! Lol
Nicole I've had those same bumps on my arms since I can remember the only thing that's taken it away is OIL PULLING!!!really you should try it plus its really good for you anyways
For the 'bumpy' skin on the back of your arms try Amlactin!! seriously it's amazing. Mixing 100% cocoa powder with corn starch works amazing as a dark hair dry shampoo as well :)
I love you Nicole!!! Favorite youtuber ever!!!!!! I legit stop whatever im doing just to watch your videos!!
"Oh no. I don't have my beauty blogger candle on." 😂😂😂😂 laughed so hard at that!
You should try organic coconut oil on you skin. It works so amazingly, Especially when your skin is dry. It absorbs really fast and always leaves my skin really smooth.
You should try the Lush no drought dry shampoo. It's a powder like baby powder but it smells like citrus and is soooo good!
I use cornstarch mixed with some coco powder so it blends in with my brown hair better!
She's back thank god missed this Nicole !
I always use a blowdryer after i use the baby powder, it helps shake it out and lift it. xo
I love this fun, spunky Nicole. I feel likes she's been gone for awhile. Glad to have you back girl! Love you!!! :)
I've had red bumpy upper arms mostly in winter. Went to a kineseologist who said its a lack of oil in your body recommended taking coconut oil and flax oil orally. It really helped with the arms.
