  • Trail Seeker Adventures takes you out on the trail at WVMBA round 5 Tour De Lake. See if racing a mountain bike with the WVMBA could be for you. I jump on my new Trek Rail e bike and hits the track with my GoPro so you can see what racing MTB is all about with out getting off the couch.

Hey man, I’m interested in getting into the GNCC and Local ebike racing scene. I was wondering….do you run it in the highest mode the whole time or do you try to ride in different modes to conserve battery for the race?
Also is there a pretty good variety of Ebikes on the line? I’m looking at getting a trek rail 150 rear travel, 160 front with a 625wh battery using Bosch 85nm torque motor.
Thanks. Love the videos, rode at Mountwood a few times and loved it on my hardtail. Raved harescambles in Ohio 10 years ago.

@@robertdanks9675 Most of the time I leave it on the high power mode. I have had to turn it down as the race went long and I have had the battery go dead before but with my trek rail with the 750 I have not had that problem the trek rail is an awesome bike. There is many different varieties of bikes at these races. Most of the time you’ll see specialized, but my dealer sells trek and giant and that’s why I have what I have. Hope to see you out on the trails if you have any other questions, let me know. That’s why I do these videos.

@@trailseekeradventures8122 thanks so much man. It’s hard to find a ton of info about this stuff because it is so new. Yeah I’m currently looking at buying a Trek Rail 7 gen 2 with a 625 because it’s on sale for 4300. I normally ride a singlespeed titanium hardtail but I would like to get more speed on the trails and save my analog biking for the road.

@robertdanks9675 If you don’t have a Bike Shop check out Joeys Bike Shop and tell him Kenny sent you. He’ll work you up a good deal.

@@trailseekeradventures8122 sounds good man! Appreciate it! Do you notice much difference between the Trek rail Bosch motor vs the Yamaha motor? Any other big differences between the giant and the rail?

@@robertdanks9675 I love my giant, but the rail is faster if he was just trail riding a giant would be OK but if you’re racing, I would recommend the trek
