What I don't understand is, the entire estate has a perimeter wall, security gate etc... or will have one? Why build high walls around your house? If everyone starts putting up masonry walls around their properties, then in a few years the place shall resemble a middle-income slum, something akin to what Kilimani has become... and this may defeat the purpose of building in gated communities...especially for diaspora who have experienced societies with open neighborhoods like Canada.
