Bones swiss and bones reds are the same exact design, one made in China and one name in Switzerland with tighter tolerances. The biggest noticeable difference will be how long the swiss last over the reds.
I say for in-line skates/ quads where you mostly use it indoors and the occasional practice outside on a flat surface, you’re perfectly fine with reds but if you’re using it mostly outside definitely get the swiss.
Did anyone factor in wind resistance while wearing that big, floppy lab coat in the *probably not very constant* breeze? Was the rider's steering completely stable? What is the margin of error on that piece of chalk? Was the starting push exactly the same each time? Would the results be the same for a heavier/lighter skater? Were the bearings cleaned and lubed equally before the test? What other factors might have contributed? Is it valid to make a judgment based on only 3 runs? Would a run of 20 or even a hundred yield a similar result? This review is interesting but leaves me with more questions than answers, and for the price difference, I don't think the average skater is going to notice a difference.
I was thinking the same thing. It did seem that the Reds were unfairly hampered by wind resistance. That may compromise the entire experiment. However, I do commend for showing the spirit of Galileo and Archimedes, intrepidly documenting the phenomena of the skatepark.
This test sucked. You didn't degrease both and use speed cream to rule out better lube from the factory. The Swiss are supposed to last longer, but no such proof exists
Were you having a bad day? I understand. I have been having some bad days lately. You could just tell them how they could have improved the test. I have been trying to find good comparisons between swiss and ceramics myself but seem impossible to find good comparison videos. Nice WRX. I had a 2010. Still miss that boxer rumble.
A real comparison between ceramics and swiss would be good to see.
Mind-blowing , only a Sicencetitian could envision such a conclusive test!
Lazy way is just pop in a new set of Reds everytime you buy new wheels. No cleaning or maintance ever. Works just fine.

@YOB BGB manufacturer is WIB in Switzerland I believe
Why are the Reds so slow
@@matlabatt tolerances aren't as tight. I use them in the streets or for slappy setups but they degrade really quickly.

We didnt, but Dr Tom is a professional so Im sure its ok

Whats cool is that you can put it on your roller skates
This changed my life😲
Matt Damon didn't even science this much when he was on Mars
It looks like the wind picked up, for the Reds’ Test.
Don’t worry he did a multi variable analysis and factored that in.
where is the nobel peace rpize for this amazing scientician ffs
Great video dude.
This dude is the maddest scientist. Is this a relative of Ricky Gervais?
forget every bearing the only one is BIG BALLS
Thanks
love this video
Reds suck. Same as OEM in my Birdhouse board. Not worth the upgrade at all. Spend more and get titanium.
Or big ball reds. They are not to expensive and very nice
Bros, a drill a skate wheel, and a timer your welcome
For science and all goofy skaters!

My Swiss bearings are 8 years old and still spinning longer than redz
Both bearings already come with speed cream from the factory.
science
I wish this was satirical
😎😎
For science 😁
This proved nothing lmao, no longevity test, wear in, etc. come on fellas
You mean the Paw Patrol stethoscope didnt fool you?
