Nobody should need to ice their knee from demonstrating a submission. Rau is cranking the sub endangering Placido’s knee.

Your technique being so good that just being in that position creates a lot of pressure is not "cranking." You don't know what cranking is. You want to see cranking look up a video of "The Adult Slayer" from 10P.

During demonstrations, a heel hook should be applied slowly with increasing pressure to prevent injury. He is jerking the submission, endangering the safety of his partner. His partner is clearly afraid of being injured by him. Not a good training partner. A good training partner slowly applies submissions, and their partners are not afraid of being injured drilling or otherwise.
