In fact, they've sold 36,000 albums in Japan compared to only 16,000 in Korea, with even fewer sales in other parts of the world. Japan is their hometown! 🇯🇵🇯🇵 so they treasure their artists!

It seems Japan is supporting XG more than Korea. However, you're right that XG isn't as famous in Korea. Currently, they're gaining more recognition worldwide, which is proving their critics wrong. XG was number 1 in Japan chart for ‘New DNA’ and ‘woke-up’, but just recently ‘woke-up’ just become number 1 in Korea.

1. XG has sold more albums and singles in Japan since the release of "NEW DNA" and "WOKE-UP". For example, over 36,000 copies of the "WOKE-UP" single were sold in Japan, compared to only about 16,000 copies in Korea.
2. XG has participated in more events in Japan, including appearances at Japan VOGUE, Japan NYLON, Japan FORBES, Japan NIKE, and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc, a Japanese multinational video game publisher.
