You could use the Force Break Mod! That would fix it!
I just received my q1 v2 and it seems keycron has listen to us and implemented the force break mod.
the v2 already has some fixes implemented against ping. it basically does not need mod any more.. the bottom is now lined with a dampening material like sticker, below the foam.
So aesthetic.
I really want thise keycaps so bad.

I have the zoom65 right now and Idk if I should return my Keychron Q1 V2 or keep it and sell the zoom65. Keep in mind I don't mind not having the F row or having an F row
How does this compare to the new k8 pro? I can't decide which to get...
I wish the knob was a bit more offset, as they made it too close to the HOME button.

I was looking to upgrade my K2 with either the GMMK Pro or the Q1 V2 Knob.
I was leaning towards the Q1, the only thing putting me off is the lack of an End key.
Sure, I could program another key to function as the End key.
I just wondered if you miss the End key in your daily use? and have you found any issues/quirks with the board?
Thanks 🙏 I was thinking of the GMMK Pro as well. I went for the Q1 V2 as it has a slightly lower typing angle. Funny you talk about the End key. As a software dev, I use the Home and End key heavily. So I've mapped the three vertical keys below the knob as Home, End and Insert. Works pretty well.

What is it, and where did you get it from? Any concerns about any fibers getting in your electronics? Hey, thanks for checking out the video. The desk mat I got is very cheap - from AliExpress: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003652984983.html I have the light light gray version. Not had any issues with fibres getting into electronics. The mat has started to bubble a bit in areas. But for the price, it's not too bad. I'm also planning a review of the Q1 Pro. Hope to release it soon!

You do while you have to purchase another PCB. The knob version has a different layout.
Is this the best option i have under 200€ ? I dont wanna mod it, just use it stock for gaming mostly

Why would anyone get the barebones? i mean even if you plan on using diffrent keycaps and switches. For 20bucks you get a full set of switches and keycaps thats a very good deal
To add to that; switches are honestly really good for factory pre-lubes.

Exactly how they price the packages. People get lured into extra with only a little more money so they don’t question the expense of the barebones.

ISO versions are only available as barebones. Only the ANSI version is available fully built.

i disagree with his statement. "keep in mind you do have to lube the switches" while i absolutely agree that is greatly enhances sound and feel, it's not necessary. if you don't feel comfortable opening up the switch, you can use them stock or use pre-lubes switches
