Because is a lot cheaper and same or even better quality. For example, for my car a control arm from lemforder is 70-100$, if i want just the bushings and ball joint from lemforder this would be somewhere around 30$. If i want just the bushings that will be a lot cheaper, maybe 10$. Anyway.. maybe for you is better to replace it, in usa they rip you off anyway, i can change the bushings myself or with a little help from a friend. Or i can just pay someone 20$ to do this for me ( Europe :) )
Thanks - I’ll just send it to the garage..
Very professionally 👍.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME !!!!
Why did he compress the spring and remove the wheel hub from the axel? You don't need to do any of that to remove the control arm.
Man that big shock compressor thing. Looks expensive, hah. Hopefully there is a way for the weekend warrior diyer to do this job too.
Is there a certain orientation for the rear control arm bushing?
many thanks
What are the part numbers for the bushes?
Do you have a link to the tools?
Why bother to change bushings, since it much easier to change the entire control arms?
