Jesse Martinez got the short end of L.A's politics

Jesse Martinez was and still is one of the most prolific skate boarders of our generation. Along with Natas Kapas Jesse revolutionized the way skateboarders attacked the streets. Jesse has appeared on the cover of Thrasher and many other publications. He transcended cultures and after a long battle he fulfilled his life long dream of getting a skate park built in Venice Beach. After years of maintaining it Jesse was relieved of his duty because of greed and politics. This is his story.
