"I felt like Barbie when her feet went flat." 🤣 I can totally relate. I had to quit wearing heels after I broke an ankle, nothing fit the same and I felt so off balance after that. Probably a heck of a lot better for my feet in the long run! The collectors pumps are gorgeous, I'd totally have those on display. Love the boots with the chain on the back, they are like riding boots with a rock star vibe!
I totally get this! I had to wear custom orthotics for a little while. I sprained my foot and had to wear trainers with them, laced tightly. While I was healing I bought a pair of gorgeous heels (only like 10cm) for new years thinking I would be healed and able to wear them just fine. Not a chance. I put them on and felt exactly the same, like my feet were never going to be able to wear heels again. My hamstrings NEVER hurt like that wearing them before. The bones ached. 😭
@@jenniferelyse5134 It's awful. I tore a ligament in the process and I'm sure it contributed a lot to the change in shape of my foot, etc. I ended up getting rid of all of my heels, it was so sad.
Oh I loved seeing your collection, past and present!! How absolutely fabulous that you were able to meet him! Wonderful. Love those short boots too! xx
What a great video this was, I absolutely love that bag and wallet! I was out of high heels for about 10 years (after being an absolute high heel maniac for most of my life) during my bedside nursing phase because my feet were just so trashed from being on them alllll the time… now two years after leaving nursing, my feet have recovered so much thanks to Pilates and just not being constantly abused that I’m wearing all my heels again!! I did get rid of a few but hung on to most and I’m so glad I did ❤
In Canada, Saks Fifth Avenue started carrying Louboutin shoes and you can get sweet discounts at the end of the season. They even qualify for additional discounts. I've seen it go as high as 50% off! Mind you, most of these are seasonal colours or rather blingy styles.
Hi Sophie, I really think you kept the prettiest and most "wearable" shoes... The ankle boots with the velvet bow are beautiful! Truly unique! I wish you a good start to the week 😘
It's so nice to see another woman who actually buys clothing for collection and not wearing. My husband thought I was nuts the first couple of times I did it....he got used to it! 😂
That Paloma bag is absolutely gorgeous! 😍 Thank you for showing us your collection! I've got two pairs of Louboutin heels and I haven't been wearing the other pair in years. I should just sell them. Now I've got my eyes on the black Mamadrague ballet flats. They look so beautiful! Too bad that in my city there's no place where I could try them on.
I remember when I lived in high heels. Did that for years. Since 2019 I started wearing sneakers and never looked back! I don’t even own a single pair of heels anymore. You need to wear those sneakers! Love the Fendi sweater! 😎
👠👠 YES I was always in heels pre pandemic never ever wore flats & rarely in sneakers unless at the gym. Now it’s difficult for me to wear heels 👠 after not wearing them for so long during pandemic times.
I can’t wait watch this. Do you think any shoe brand has the chokehold on fashion & popular culture like LB did back in the early 2010s or is it more diverse now
@@SophieShohetOfficialthanks for the kind comment and also favourite shoe brands who do handbags or RTW would be a good video someday (in the same vain as jewellery brand who do handbags video you did a couple months ago). Idk if my marketing side but I love when brands release good products outside what they’re famous for and it becomes respected on it own eg Bvgari are very respected for their bags now
Absolutely great video! I loved using th beautiful shoes. I have always wanted a pair but I can not wear heels. This video was almost as good as when you take me shopping!. You are so practical with your purchases and it is refreshing to watch. Thanks for posting.
@@SophieShohetOfficial really bad here too. We've been out all day and just got home as the wind was really getting up. Hunkered down now in the warm and fingers crossed for no damage to outbuildings or trees. Stay safe!!
I remember your original collection video and loved watching it, soon after CL became a brand I dreamed of owning ! Also your 1/5 analysis of So Kate comfort in that video was 100% accurate, they are beautiful and terrible all at the same time. Side note, what do you think of you Paloma? I am looking to buy one so any thoughts you have would be AMAZING ! Fab video as always x
Hi, I just purchased my 1st pair of Louboutin's - Miss Sab in Suede. They are on back order, so I won't receive them until then, fall 24'. My question is, do all of his shoes run small. I bought them 1 size up. Also, are they comfortable? Thanks
Sophie, I love everything you kept, the bag will work with the tennis shoes too, love having matches wallets,I have the Chanel zippy wallet like the style of yours, they are small enough to fit in most bags,so I bought a second one few weeks after the first one. Thats an excellent idea having shoes and boots on display. I wear tall walking, riding boots all the time. Great video!! I remember when you bought the LB bag....our interest changes as we get older, so do our bodies❤❤❤
I've never been much into Louboutin or heels, but those sari ones are STUNNING. I'd kill myself if I tried to walk in them. Give me a 2.5 inch block heel, max.
Hey Sophie! Remember that super cute denim fendi cropped blazer/jaceket you bought a while back? Does it fit true to size and what size did you take? Im usually a medium in things but can sometimes do a small. My shoulders are kind of broad was wondering about the fit. Thanks so much if you can help!
I remember that video! I always really loved the coral patent leather ones, I bought a nail polish as close to that colour I could find after seeing them in your videos.
Sophie, do you still get letters? I miss that segment! I think I remember you asked for people to stop sending packages. Was curious if you still got fan mail! ❤
Beautiful collection 😊 i can only dream of wearing heels. My feet have been orthopedic since i was born. If only someone made orthopedic shoes that aren't horribly grandma 😂
Hello lovely Sadia!! I get them done at the cobbler in harrods, but, I know more and more cobblers are offering this service now. I would try googling to find somewhere local xx❤️🥰
I've been watching you for a few years now, Sophie, and you really seem to be aging backwards! Enjoyed your video, and it's nice to see you can wear your camel necklace again. Cheers!
Sophie those two pairs are so beautiful why would anyone wear them? They could get destroyed so easily. I would display them like the artwork that they are.🥰
Ah! Bravo for the permanent soles! I was wondering why none of the vloggers I follow do not do that immediately on their very pricey shoes... a YSL with a worn out sole is such a pity....
@@SophieShohetOfficial love watching your videos Sophie. Love watching the old ones as well. I was watching one from about 6years ago and your hair had red in it. It was lovely. I bought the Zuvi hair dryer because of you. I love it by the way. Take care xxxxx
