One thing to note, the Indian players themselves may not be overconfident or arrogant, but the media makes them larger than life superheros expecting them to win every time they go on the ground. As a fan, I am not panicking but there is a pattern in these multination tournament losses. Hope we are able to find some fix before WC. Indian media is filled with hatred against Pakistan to such an extent that they even show fake news to provoke people against Pakistan and Muslims. When Pakistan won the match an Indian news anchor , sudhir Chaudhary tweeted that pakistani players are jealous and filled with hatred for Indian players since Indian players are richer than them, he was trying to say in his tweet that because of this hatred they won the match.
It's only media. If you see any of Rohit Sharma interview he says they are all competitive team tough to beat.
