Diecast SUPERMOBILE Restoration - Corgi. Hello friends in todays video I do a decent restoration on a vintage Superman Supermobile made in 1978 by Corgi. This car was sent in by a long time subscriber named Ed Fletcher, its been buried over at my places for years and I recent discovered it again. With our new way of doing graphics using the stencil's and decals I can manage to do the superman logos finally. Where back in the day I didn't have the technology to do it. I'm going to miss XMC Racing. I was a supporter. I didn't care if everyone finished or not; I thought the track was cool and the action was fairly chaotic. It's a shame I won't get to see anyone else get dumped into the pit!

What a beauty! I never new there WAS a Supermobile in the comics. Never saw this Corgi back in my youth. I learn something new every day!
Was nice seeing you do this restoration a bit different then usual. Corgi made so many cool iconic toys like this. It would be fun seeing you do some other ones like James Bonds Aston Martin or the TV version Batmobile.
Even other manufacturers of iconic or just unique rare cars would be fun to see once in awhile.

Wow. I remember having this as a kid. Forgot it even existed.
Do a car garage with a mini paint booth. Then zoom into the garage and paint area like Mr Rogers Neighborhood idk if you watched that show in Canada 🇨🇦 but in the states Mr. Rogers was the best thing when I was a kid. Peace ✌🏾 bro. Love the content.

It looks spectacular. I've allways wondered what alternate colors for it would looks like. A better painted superman, red with black interiors for the engines so it looks a bit more "Cape like"
Or if you grab one of the many many broken fists versions, you could carve off the side pods and paint it black with silver logos for the death of superman?
It was a favourite toy when I was a kid and I'm so happy to see what can be done with it now with your modern techniques.

Excellent restoration! As for the parking garage, I like the idea. Jimmy needs a change of scenery, know what I mean? Don't know if this counts as inspiration, but back in the 60's, Matchbox had a BP service centre that included a showroom for "new cars". As soon as you said you wanted a parking garage, that Matcbox thing popped into my head. Regardless, it's a great idea and I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. All kidding aside with the why Superman needs a car thing. Your channel has been amazing! Your die-cast resurrections are amazing! Your banter with the "audience" is always entertaining and fun! Your channel has given me more inspiration than I can say. THANK YOU SIR! I don't have enough equipment to make it happen yet, but I won't give up or quit! When I became ill with Pneumonia I was hospitalized for over a week. Later that year it happened again, another week in the hospital. Over the next few years I've spent some serious time in the hospital. A week here, one there, then I had surgery on my knee. I had cysts behind my kneecap. I could barely walk. I could barely straighten my right 🦵leg/knee🦵and that caused my hip to get worse. I had severe arthritis in my right hip. Bone on bone the doctor said. I had surgery on my knee first with physical therapy to follow. This was before the Covid-19 insanity. The surgery was a success, and the therapist was awesome. My leg 🦵 was better. Walking was better. About a month-½ later I started feeling ill. I ended up in the Emergency Room. They said I had Bronchial Pneumonia. They gave me meds and sent me home. I was having major issues breathing. They told me to go slow.??!?!!?! As I walked out I collapsed in the E.R. lobby. All I can remember is falling into or onto a wheelchair and gasping help. I woke up back in the ER. I had a heart attack, a mild one they said? My blood pressure was 210 over 155. I thought I had an infection from the surgery but my knee was fine. I actually had Pneumonia again. My health was NOT happy. I was in respiratory/cardiac ICU for 10 days, and then another few days for a total of 17 days.
Later on I learned that my hip was worse and I needed another surgery. This was major. I needed Hip replacement surgery. I had SEVERE pain, bone on bone pain and arthritic agony. I could barely walk again. This happened at the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic. I had a virtual appointment with a physical therapist and my doctor. It was a PAINFUL PAINFUL EXPERIENCE. While in the hospital the surgery went okay. They had to use an epidural type of medication due to my COPD issues and the anesthetic. It caused my breathing to become too shallow. Add that with the pain medication and my lungs could have stopped. However the epidural was not without it's issues. That night they wanted me to stand and try and walk. They had used more of the numbing agent than needed and LOL my right leg was NUMB for 3 days, and when I stood up there was a💥POP!💥Then ANOTHER💥POP!💥 Apparently it popped out of socket then popped right back into socket! I was again in the Hospital for 12 days. During these 🌞days☀️ and 🌚nights,🌜🌛 boredom was huge.😴Believe it or not, they actually have good food there.💤💤Sleep 💤💤 was a great way to pass the time EXCEPT you can't sleep in a hospital! Aaaargh! They have a movie channel, that helps, my PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS as well. But my Smart📱📱Phone📱📱 was my saving grace! I discovered many new channels in You Tube. From die-cast car 🏁 racing 🏁 to customizations and in your case Die-Cast Resurrection. These channels saved my sanity...lol. Being how I love die-cast cars anyway. Collecting and 🏁Racing🏁became my go to hobby. Over my Star Wars and Marvel Legends figures. I've been through a lot of medical problems lately with pain and anxiety topping the fear list, these videos gave me some much-needed peace. So again THANK YOU! 😊 🙏 I HOPE THAT 🙏 YOUR CHANNEL WILL KEEP GOING. 🙏 I can't speak for everyone but these videos these die-cast Resurrection videos have really helped me. Take care sir! I love it! Great job! You're garage diorama should include an alley next to it with some broken down cars/trucks in it. Maybe use upcoming projects in the alley to show everyone what's next.

It has taken me some time, as pledge isn't sold under the same name here in france, but under the moniker "pliz". I'm not into die cast models, but the windshield and assorted transparent plastics of my 80s toys thank you for the idea !
