Thank you. It is definitely worth a visit. I have seen Kookas every time I go there. It is not a huge park, but great for a couple of hours. Plus in the summer there are some massive Water Dragons to be seen.

You did a really good job getting so many nice bird photos! It seems silly, but I really liked the Brush-turkey at 1:42. It just looks so... proud? Anyway, thanks for bringing us along on your expeditions!

Thanks so much. Some of them are difficult to photograph, let alone get videos of. The brush turkey is a great bird, and not timid so you can get pretty close.

Great video! At some point could you please rank them in regards to abundance of birds, access, and kids friendliness?

Thank you. It is really hard to rank, depending on the season some parks may be abundant or not. Most are kid friendly, I’d say Nurringing would be most kid friendly. All easily accessible

We are coming to Sydney in May (from UK) for a few days is this park worth visiting then?
    Great video.

chargrave if you are only here for a few days I’d suggest other parks over this one : Centennial parklands, the Royal Botanic Gardens and Sydney Olympic Park are larger and have more birdlife.

Was my stomping ground as a kid. It used to hold ahn amazing density of reptile and frog fauna but sadly this is no longer the case.

I can imagine what it was like years ago, still pretty good for an inner city park

No I don’t think so, they are mainly found in inland Australia
