I agree very excellent instructions, concise. I am having great difficulty - I'm using CC Photoshop 2020 and when I place the text in the middle at 100 pt it is very small. The rounded rectangle tool doesn't work out right it is oval shaped end not like the video and it doesn't fit right. When I try to adjust length or width it changes the entire rectangle

Hi, great tutorial except for one part that I am having trouble understanding. When you add the scratches you didn't mention what color or settings to pick. I figured it must be black and now I ended up with a red stamp and black scratched over it instead of empty space. Some help would be appreciated, thanks.
Hi, This is great, as are all Blue Lightening TV videos. I have a problem though. When applying scratches, I can see the effect on the tiny layer mask image in the Layers panel, but nothing happens to the stamp on the main screen. Help please? Thanks. Am using PS cc 18

I believe he meant for you to use the scratch brush with black color on the layer mask//.. and not on the layer.

Your layer mask must be active; not the layer itself.
when we got brush whats the opacity and flow and brush color? I change it and I dont remember what it is pls help

Marty, why capslock should not be on?
If you want to resize the brush tool with your bracket keys, the CapsLock key must be off, otherwise the bracket keys won't work.
