I don't care if it's seductive or not overplayed or not overrated or not it smells f****** beautiful and I love it and I'll be wearing it for a long time regardless how many people use it and how "dated' it is according to people

I have never EVER EVER got as many compliments as with this one ... whether it was 15 years ago or recently...
As much as fragcomm hates on this stuff it worked for me and many others and still works very well for compliments. 1 million will always have a place in my collection

I’m late to the party, but my husband bought this a few years ago. I’ve been experimenting with layering fragrances, and I layered it over Eilish No. 2. A few minutes in and I can’t really even smell the 1 million. The woody/ leathery notes in Eilish No. 2 seem to have overtaken it. If anything, it added a slight powdery note. Overall, I think you’re right. It’s very basic.
I have a huge perfume collection (Montale, Tom Ford, MFK, Amouage, XerJoff ...). However, I get most compliments for fragrances like 1 Million EDT, Joop Homme and Le Male.
I can agree 👍 some of my compliment getters I really don't even like the smell of, but I know they work haha.

1 Million is a solid (gold) line of fragrances, I don't think they have released a a bad one to be honest. Im still wanting to try the 1 Milly cologne, its rose note has got me real interested I can imagine it working really well.

Mont Blac Individuel is better than Spirit in my humble opinion.. I have both and Spirit is kind of an everyday Gym scent.
Honestly 1 million is amazing, the opening is beautiful and I love it.
The spicy and sweetness in the opening is incredible. Recent variations due to reformulations, I have to apply twice during the day. But no issue 😅, the scent is amazing to my nose.
One of my first fragrances, and i wore this stuff so much. It's good to be brought back every now and then putting this stuff on 👌

Well I’m gonna rock it in 2024, I came to the fragrance game late and i avoided this because I listened to people saying it’s played out. Big mistake! I have other flankers like parfum, lucky, elixir. Smells like fresh laundry or dryer sheets to me, I really enjoy it

I also smelled this one a lot back in the day. It was ok. Very familiar. I tried it once a friend had it. It was nice but not masculine enough for me. But, I got one of the clones of One Million that imo has a masculine note to it. Not sure what I'm not good with notes. Anyways, to my nose it smells the same as One Million but more masculine. The one fragrance I'm talking about is a total cheapie $15-$20 price range called PURE GOLD by Karen Low. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on that one I haven't seen any YT reviews on it.
Well, that sounds right up my alley. I would love to give that a try! 1 million brings a nostalgia vibe for me that i like, but I do agree it is definitely not masculine enough for most. The ladies do seem to love it, though!
1 Million Elixer kicks its ass. On the cheap side try 9 pm or Lattafa Hyaati. A quarter of the price but similar scent profile.

Its a 2022 batch and its still strong. Not as strong as 2010 but its still great 👌

cloying, sweet, powdery, slight headache. Couldn't get this off my skin fast enough. But it's still there.

Especially for older men like myself in their 40s.
I own around 30 fragrances. And this my signature winter scent. I love it, and it performs amazing with one spray to the back of my neck.

I recommend trying it on yourself at your local retail store. My 2022 is still strong but not as strong as my original from a decade ago

It's a bit too much imo for that kind of situation. Can come across as cloying to some. If you were to use it for that, 2 sprays at most would be good

These are both easy to sample at your local fragrance store. I highly suggest sampling both and just seeing what you like. 1 Million is more powerful though if thats what you want

Since the mid 2000s the designer fragrance industry has gone into a death spiral. First with the fruity bs and then with the 'blue' scents that pervaded the 2010s.
Men's fragrances from the 90s would kick the modern fragrances' asses. The ones from the 80s would straight up snuff the emasculated modern scents.
So Goddamn sweet and generic. So juvenile. Bring back the MANLINESS.
I personally feel you are correct. But when I ask people my age or younger they prefer sweeter more generic scents 🤷♂️
