  • Fieldwork is an essential component of the recreational therapy program at Temple University’s College of Public Health. Whether working in clinical rehabilitation settings or leading a range of activity-based interventions, such as aquatics, wheelchair sports, or animal-assisted therapy, students gain real-world experience in the field, better preparing them for their careers and leading to better health outcomes for the populations they serve.

Thank you for this video! I am also a Recreational Therapy student and I start my internship in the field in June 2019. This video motivates me to continue doing well in my courses.

I am currently at a loss of motivation in my program in translation and i fell upon this program. And i was wondering if this is worth it? Which position pays better? With kids? Hospital? Old people?
