*7000 rupees- 2005*
Bhen it is still 2006
@@starscream3284 but how the question is in which year it reached 7000 .Right ?
@@rishika926 it can be taken out by 1995+(n-1)d from ap: 1995,1996,1997...... (n=11 and d=1)
@starscream3284 no. Here if we take 1st year as 1995. then the 11th year from 1995 will be 2005 not 2006. As n=11, means it will be counted w.r.t 1st year 1995
2nd year 1996
3rd year 1997
4th year 1998
5th year 1999
6th year 2000
7th year 2001
8th year 2002
9th year 2003
10th year 2004
11th year 2005
I hope you understand now that in A.P, they talk about nth terms with respect to the first year a1. It's not about adding 11 years in 1995 but adding 10 years in 1995 because 1995 is itself the 1st year, so the eleventh year will be 1st year +10 years= 1995 +10=2005
1:23:00
Question. How many terms of the AP: 24,21,18 - - - - must be taken so that their sum is 78 ?
Solution
Let we take 'n' terms to make Sn = 78
n/2[ 2a+( n- 1 )d] = 78
a2 - a1 = 21 - 24 = -3
a3 - a2 = 18 - 21 = -3
Common difference (c.d) is same (-3)
n/2 [2(24)+ (n-1)(-3)] = 78
n/2 [ 48+(n - 1)(-3) = 78
78 = n/2 [48-3(n-1)]
78 = n/2(51-3n)
156 = 51n-3n^2
156-51n+3n^2 = 0
3n^2-51n+156 = 0
By using quadratic formula / Sridharacharya formula
a = 3 , b = -51 , c = 156
D = b^2 - 4ac
D = (-51)² - 4(3)(156)
D = 2601 - 1872 = 729
x = -b +- √D/2a
x = 51 +- √729/6
x = 51 + 27/6 , x = 51 - 27/6
x = 78/6 = 13 , x = 24/6 = 4
x = 13 , 4
So, n can be either 4 or 13. Therefore, we must take either 4 or 13 terms of the AP for their sum to be 78.

35:02 Sir Asked a question about compound interest. I want to share my answer.
By Using Formula,
Compound interest = Principal× (1+{Rate÷100})^time
C.I. = 10,000 × {1+ (7/100)}^1
= 10,0000 ×{(100+7)÷100}
=10,000(107/100)
= 1070000÷100
= ₹10,700
Therefore,the required compound interest at the rate of 7% after 1 year when the principal amount is 10,000 will be ₹10700
Is my answer correct?
