Best concert I’ve been to… best energy best musicianship. I love them so much. I just wish their mics were louder on some songs, I feel like the instruments frowned them out a couple times. Maybe I’m just trippin or it was my seats but I had a great view I was so close to my favorite band I cried. I been into them since I was 14 (I’m 21 now) when I discovered them with flying microtonal banana. sleep drifter and billabong valley being my 2 favorite songs of all time by them. I was over the moon with Ambrose’s performance of it 😭😭
Wow They even did the Faux-ending into an Alter Me chorus before coming back for one breakdown to end the song :’D they usually leave that part out :) (for example it’s not on KEXP live version)
I drove from MA to Philly to catch this show. I bought tickets for the original date, finally the day comes to go see the show. I haul my wife and kid to Philly, scope out the venue and bring the family to the hotel. One disaster led to another, and I had to leave Philly at six thirty for Massachusetts. I would need to have something very very wrong to miss this show mind you, so it wasn't a light decision. We get home around midnight, and there is an SUV with four or five guys and a U-Haul in front of my house, and when I eyed them as I drove by they left. I am almost positive they were going to rob my house while I was out. I feel like something about the Wizardry of it all made the Universe send me home to be there when I was. Thank you for this upload, and thanks to the Gizz boys for a great show, I can at least enjoy it on my surround sound! Looking forward to catching Uncle Murl in Boston!

Eventually got back up there in time to jump around and get knocked on my ass during Evil Death Roll. Amazing show, couldn't have asked for a better return to live shows for my first one since COVID started.
So much head banging! This was my first gizzard and it is gonna be unforgettable. I can’t believe I finally saw them with my friends after two long years of waiting. It was so hype literally every song In This set was amazing. Her and I is on of my favorite songs and they jammed so hard! To hear an actual alter beast narration was incredible and to end it with a evil death roll was the cherry on top. Love you gizzy boys and thank you for the upload! ❤

I was asked before the show the one song i wanted to hear, and the fourth colour was and has been it! I was stoked they played predator x too. I would not have bet money on that. The rest of the set was killer.
I ended up getting anxious as hell and didn't go. Hate to say it but looking at the setlist, I'm more ok with this decision now. Last time they came around, which I did see, was unbelievable. Edit: No pit???!?

Thanks for posting this - great audio & video quality! I attended Forest Hills (NYC) the night before, which was sadly cut short due to venue curfew issues (why they needed that 2nd opening act - who went 1st - which Sucked - is beyond me). I'm in New England so that's the only gig we got & it was a Lonnnggggg trip. Been listening to them since the year they released 4 albums & just after the 2nd drummer left (2017), FINALLY got to see them - def a "You Have To See Them Live" band - they make Perfect sense then - I was actually experiencing a Vulcan mind meld during the show (in, a, um, pretty "Enhanced" state, natch), their music def Wormed it's way into my brain. If I had the Wherewithal I'd def Jet out to Red Rocks to see them play 3 hours in that venue - far more so than all my 60-something buddies who follow lame assed Grateful Dead bands around (sorry I've been listening to them since 1974, I need something New & Fresh & Edgy & Dark & Psychedelic in my Onset of Senior Dementia state of being). I've tried to tell all the Milennial Phishead kids I know about this band - but they'd rather go on Trey Band/Goose tour - which to me is as equally Lame & utterly lacking in Edge as GD covers. I know - YMMV & all that - I like other Weird/Edgy bands like Umphrey's McGee, Ween, Squid, Disco Biscuits, Papadosio, Mars Volta, Radiohead.
I guess the woman who sung with them is the opening act I dissed? OK my bad I guess, just didn't sound that good at the time, maybe deserves another listen?

Yeah, that folky chick was boring as hell. She opened (at least) the next two nights, too. Just a waste of precious time.
