- When iPhone comes up with a major update, I get so excited to give my phone a whole new life. iOS 17 is here and it looks quite adorable on iPhone SE. i bought it back in 2020, and thankfully i still have it. I’m glad that Apple didn’t forget to include it in the list of devices compatible with iOS 17 because I wouldn’t know how to make this phone look new after all these years!

I’m actually surprised they made standby available on SE. considering it doesn’t have oled and Apple historically cut’s some os features on older models

Hey @Rebekkah Kaur! At 10:13 we can see this contact card with other contact cards on the left and on the right. But up to the name of contact there is a ''Mobile'' name and you can change it! I changed it for example a phone carrier operator or other things like ''family'' or ''second number''

Hey Rebekkah! Loved the overview, I needed to watch this before the official update rolls out tomorrow and I am super excited now! Love my iPhone SE as much as you love yours, haha. I am interested in knowing about your SE's battery performance, kindly do share! Currently, I am at 77% battery health and have received a recommendation notification to service the same. I am stalling at the moment, will decide on replacing the same as I go about using my phone on iOS 17. What are your thoughts?

The non beta version hasn’t rolled out yet and beta version has (LOTS OF BUGS). Let’s wait for the final version to come out for me to comment on this. Thank you :)

I am considering getting the iPhone SE refurbished with 85% battery - can you recommend it the SE?
85% battery is not bad but you have to understand what you are getting into. You will NEED a power bank because if you are out and on your phone all the time. It will be a disaster. If you are outside and not glued to your phone all the while and just texting and using Instagram minimally, you will survive on battery saving. But all in all, it’s a good phone. A very good one to spend on if you are on a budget and want what only iPhone can provide.

I have updated but it didn’t work
When I made this video, the contact sharing animation was not working flawlessly due to some bugs and that’s why it’s not in the video. Will make a video about it soon. Thanks :)
Battery performance good or avarage?
It very much depends on the health of the battery as well. From what I have observed, it’s pretty average after having and using this phone for three years. But if it was new, it would do much better in that department
Does this ios drain battery fast
It’s a beta version, so yes it’s not exactly the perfect. Definitely eats up battery but I’m sure the final release will not be bad

The videos that we see on UA-cam are not recorded in one single shot. It’s shot at different point of times of the day or shots are taken so many times that it takes a toll on battery. Yes, battery is not the best but don’t be fooled by what you see in this video as it’s not about battery life 😊
