when do you build tear/seraphs on ori vs just going straight damage?
Why max W now?
50 damage per rank + slow effect makes it easier to trade sporadically. Q is cheaper mana, 30 damage per rank but does less damage when piercing (and lower ap ratio).
Q poke just bricks into d shield and resolve unless you have 100% damage uptime which is unrealistic.

Sorry this is a Syndra question not Orianna (but I watched the whole video anyway):
I've been destroying plat/emerald mages with Syndra but when I go against Ekko/Zed/Kat/etc I have so much trouble. With 1 combo they put me into kill range and I have to back. Do I just need to always stay out of their dash range (Ekko E range for example)? Cause if I do that then he just Qs and kills the entire wave and it turns into a farm lane... I can't bully him that well and then I'm just hoping my team can not lose for the first 10 mins until lane phase ends
Ya thats what a counter lane does to a control mage. You can technically win through smart trades by holding wave on your side of the lane, but nothing can stop them from just shoving and roaming if you get no ganks. Letting them enter your range to engage basically makes your E threat non existent since they can dodge it with their own dash spells.

It feels kinda hard to lane with oriana syndra vs yasuo/yone when they run fleet + second wind / d shield.
it is supposed to be hard against them. Yasuos only strength basically comes from being lane dominant. You outclass in teamfights tho so, as long as your going even against yasuo ur usually fine as a mage. Yone can be bullied quite hard in lane as ori or syndra tho
but I agree their sustain is really annoying

Honestly just prioritize farming and predicting if a skirmish is win or loss. Don’t give up farm unless you guarantee a winning play. Lvl up timers and cooldown tracking help w trading, but just play for item spikes and cs

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't the enemy bot have gotten first blood tower if your jinx and senna hadn't taken yours while you were at the void grubs?

I've been taking precision secondary for presence of mind and cut down and I have to say it's pretty good for most mages.
