The pools is so fun- it made me smile. Ok- if I found a shrimp running around my house I may freak out a bit 🤣
Oh yes, I will freak out if I see a little clear, see-through shrimp scampering around -- do not doubt that! 😂 I mean, I will also collect it and put it back in the tank, but still no shrimp so 🤷♀️
So... here's where my brain went. Hidden object book with the grandkids!! Scan each page when you are done. Cut out objects and glue to a tag. Tuck tag in book. Have the kids find the objects. Use a timer and they can race. Hidden object books are expensive!

Loving your pages! We have a similar GlueBook style. And too funny that i just told a similar shrimp story yesterday in a video! I thought ours committed shrimpicide and was devastated!

I’ve never has shrimp, but I did have a green cichlid in a 55 gallon tank. He grew fast and one night I went to turn out the light and he was MIA. I freak out and tell my chow to move, she wouldn’t and there was my fish in her paws and she was licking him keeping him wet. Unharmed back in the tank went the fish and we had to put heavy stuff on the lid so he couldn’t jump out. 😂😂

My favorite glue sticks are the Uhu glue sticks. I also like the Timbow brand- I got them from Michaels. They do have a sweet smell to them though.
Uhu are my fave too. The Scotch is good too, and small only, so that's nice. I need to try the Tombow!

Snails multiply like crazy if you see you are getting a lot float a lettuce leaf on top of water and they will stick to it, then throw away the leaf!
OMG what a great idea! So far only see 1 baby so maybe it was a straggler or something? But doing the lettuce leaf trick if i start getting more!

Love the plates on the first page.... very 'cloud' ish. Ummm..... walkabout shrimps??!!... that's a big fat NO THANKS from me. EEK! --- ok, so I'm thinking I like the ROOMS more so than I do the DOLLS..... but... I cannot tackle rooms right now... gah!!! Maybe that will be my after treatment treat to explore ROOMS!!! Elmers Glue Stick Craft Bond Permanent (as opposed to repositionable)- is what I use and have been pleased.... different from the 'school glue'....
I agree about walkabout shrimps! I feel like that was important information to share when purchasing said shrimp! 😂 The rooms are WAY fun! I think they may be easier than dolls...because you aren't making random things be other things -- like a vase of flowers? Add it to the room! I am starting to venture into adding paper dolls to my rooms, too! I see a lot of folks using elmer's craft bond sticks...I haven't tried them yet though. TFW! 💜

Do you have gravel or sand in the bottom? My gf keeps loads of shrimp and snails and the shrimp burrow
I do have gravel…I wondered if they’d burrow but I haven’t seen them yet from that first day. Maybe they come out at night and I need to go spy on them with a trail cam? 😂

I didn’t like the Pritt….always curled up on me. I love the UHU…but another artist I watch uses the Tombow. Have you used that?
I havent tried tombow yet. But i do have some Japanese glue sticks coming. They are square! We will see how they work 🤞
