Best way to get a massive amount of spoiled food. Is to go to the beach and mine the shell rocks. It gives you shell fish which will rot like other food. However you can get hundreds of them in a very short period of time.
@decemberferret from what I understand rotting doesn't work like it does it other games, as I would get batches of rotted food in the amounts I farmed from the rocks.
Quick tip if you set your lights at 75 and set your irrigation system 70 you will not have to worry about plant lighting and irrigation needs for all plants, the only plant that takes a higher light setting is Bellflower which is a minimum light setting of 80 iirc.
One thing I'd say is not to waste spoiled food on a biomass generator. Why not? You can use logs and just saw down one big tree and theres enough to fill up the generators. Logs MUCH easier to get.
"Not obvious tips to..." "And for our first one, something that is on the MAIN tech tree and in the journeys, spoiled food is used for fertilizer." "For our second... Grab plants on the map in a survival game. This is totally a new and original tip that no player already knows." Wow.
there is something in the cradle you can put points in that turns spoil food into mushrooms which you grill can give you sanity back along with other stuff
Very nice video. Keep going 🌹... Just 1 question... I tried to bring my pickup to the town and there is no way to do it.. How can i bring it to the town please! 🥴
@invin , you can Elevate your water pump high (ALT + Middle Mouse Button) before placing it down, this way you don't have to use a water pump to pump it "down" to your water filter.
Really love the game but wish half my bas was not missing since last Thursday…. I don’t want to remake it as the devs say they are working on things. They still say 2-3 days possibly meaning things may not be fixed until Thursday a full week after the initial bug. What a crap 2nd week of this game.
I don't mean to discredit your feelings - that is really frustrating. But if it helps and makes you feel better, the server resets every 6 weeks, so it's not like it would have ever been a "forever" base. I have seen a ton of people frustrated (understandably), but I wouldn't let that ruin the game since you wouldn't have had it for ever anyway. Hope that helps. This game is all about bouncing back after each reset and being as efficiently as possible. You keep the important things like cosmetics and blueprints, so keep grinding those up so you can stay powerful. Good luck
Doesn't this game have seasons? Is now a good time to start playing, I'm confused about that aspect. Could you please elaborate. I watch a *lot* of your videos, glad to hear you're covering this game, we are looking at it very closely as our next game. Subbing now.
It does yes, yeah for sure, you will keep blueprints for your weapons and armour and some other stuff which is explained in game too. Essentially every 6 weeks its a new scenario where you can pick a new server with new goals depending on if its PvP or PvE where most stuff gets reset like levels and bases and all of that. As I say some stuff can be taken across to new seasons and important things like weapons and gear unlocks carry across too. Hope this helps a little, appreciate the support.
Here's an actual non-obvious tip... Look at the world and explore things that are strange. It won't always get you rewards but... There's a cemetery puzzle I found by actually reading a gravestone and treating it like more than just some flavor, there's a funny blue square on the road I found and investigated that was a puzzle where you line up a sign for it looks whole from the right angle, it's also how I try to find chests in the rift anchor zone places. Each one usually has a theme and the majority of loot is based around it. The hospitial one has most of the loot in the hospital, just look for distinctive buildings and zones thar would make sense to put something cool and you might find a couple fun little secrets and puzzles.

Lovely, amazing tip, thanks for sharing!
Plus it’ll become spoiled in just 4hrs
Split your food stacks so U can have like ten stacks decaying at once
@decemberferret from what I understand rotting doesn't work like it does it other games, as I would get batches of rotted food in the amounts I farmed from the rocks.
@@decemberferretthat's not how it works in this game, doesn't matter if it's in separate stacks or not.
Polluted water into the osmosis gives you impure acid. Put it into a brewing barrel with pure water to make acid.
Yes great way to get acid in the background, thanks for sharing this!

When do you unlock irrigation system ?
@@riv8472 I believe it's either tier 3 logistics so maybe around lvl 20 ish idk for sure tho

You did not need the small pump, just ALT + mouse wheel, to ruse the water pumps.
Or fly up, and you can rise it higer.
Yeah fair enough, good tip thanks!
I enjoyed it, thx. Hit us with your niche tips!
putting water pumps on the ground near oil pumps gets u barrled oil that u can use to get mixed fuel to turn into prem fuel :D
Lovely, cheers for that zoh!
Thanks bro tips really helped :)
Great, glad it was helpful!

Remember to hit “L” in build mode to hide wires 😎 QOL
Yeahhhhh i needed that reminder hahaha!
I cable managed mine so they're already hidden by default 😂
@@zero604 That sound SO like my Wife! Me, I'm a mess monster and just hit L to hide it LOL
"Not Obvious" -> Spoiled Food.. Alright 😂😂
Well non obvious use for it!
@@InvinEh... Only until you unlock the compost bin. Fertilizer is a major part of farming and the game does lead you towards it.
One sprinkler can hit a 5x5 if placed in the middle, same with the grow light
How do y get the plants to get proper light? I have my plants set up as you said and they’re not getting more than 10% light
@@KhemBMD for the grow light and sprinkler, you need to go up to each one and press interact on them to change the light/water amount
@@KhemBMD you can set the light level the same way as the sprinkler, interact with it
I have one sprinkler hitting 44 plots

Good advice, thanks for sharing this!
I have started to do that, running out of fertilizer slows you down.
For the sprinkler you can actually make a 5x5 with planter boxes and use the middle for the sprinkler and all of them will still be covered
5x5 you mean planter boxes sizes or foundation?
Oh wow, I couldn't get mine consistent with that but thanks for the info!
@@joerahmat5726planter boxes
you can raise your water pumps out of the water at max height rather than need a wall pump
Great info, thanks for sharing!
Your property is huge! i feel like mine isnt that big even with the upgrade. That osmosis thing is that used to make acid too?
Hahaha yeah its only when I moved to the mountains it made it seem much bigger! Yes, if placed with polluted water around it!
I can’t get my lamps to get my plants past 10% light can I get some help here?
You have to have the powered and then interact with them, its an incremental action that increases by 10 light each time.
I rerolled my first perk and got the bigger chest perk.
Ah nice, thanks for that info!
Lol, your base is in the same spot as mine kakakkakaka

Nice vid man!
Hahaha thanks!
do you have any idea why the pump not give me pure water but acid? T-T
Your pump is in a polluted zone
That’s a good thing.
What happens when you move that big base and the water pumps?
They suck air, LOL

The seasons last 6 weeks, though I believe they will make them longer. Right now is the first week so starting now is fine
It does yes, yeah for sure, you will keep blueprints for your weapons and armour and some other stuff which is explained in game too. August 20 season will reset
They have opened some new servers, and they are in the first week of the season. Takes a bit to figure things out, but you can catch up really quick
@@Invin Can you elaborate a bit on items which we can carry over to the next season please . And how it works . Thank You 😊
