I've recorded the whole process. Video is lengthy, but I wanted to capture every little step. Glow in the dark paint looks sick on Tango II, especially this aqua color.

The only problem with that paint is that it's not in a spray can... it's quite thick and difficult to spread nicely. The key is to make as thin layer as possible, but this way that's not an easy job. Top and bottom part of the shell were made with great precision, and thick layer of paint can easily cause them not to line up properly. The biggest problem are the areas around buttons. If there is any paint leftover, buttons won't slide nicely, and they will feel sticky. I did not have that problem with either one of my RC controllers, but I've done this once with my old Xbox controller, and that's how I've learned the hard way. Both my transmitters , Tango II and Boxer are free of this problem... only because I've spent more time masking all the areas I did not want covered with even paint dust, than doing the painting.
@@Seii-FPV wow, that is some serious commitment, I love it. I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I eventually do something like that to my controllers :)
Wow... that is a dramatic glow response, even in a somewhat lit room. Great work.
Yes, even though I've read reviews on Amazon, and people praising the glow effect with this one... I was still surprised, pleasantly that is. The only thing with this paint is... it's fairly thick to spread, while in the same time, quite difficult to get even smear. You really need to do couple of layers, and that by itself is not the problem... problem is, you can't have too thick final paint layer because buttons won't sit properly inside the openings. Spray can with this paint would be amazing!
