    I asked a popular fishing guide about using gloves years ago.. he fishes over 300 days a year. It's all about the chemicals they use on baits being hard on there hands... it makes total sense to me.

    What was your bobber depth? I assume you're not fishing that deep. Please let me know. Thanks.

      They ain’t on top bud and the depth of the river varies. That’s all I’m going to say. Thanks for the support!

      Chinook are at the bottom, a crank or two up so you don’t snag.

      He's not going to know key details given the fact that its his first chinook trip.
      Add a 3oz weight at the end of your leader, find the bottom, add the bobber stop at that spot in the line (where you feel bottom) and adjust from there. Hopefully that helps.

    Finding the right depth in bobber fishing, plus match the weight with the current

      Hey dumb questioned here but should I be using more weight in faster moving water?

    • @kennydaiker1980
      @kennydaiker1980 10 місяців тому

      @JavierMartinez-wo8cz yes absolutely u want the bobber traveling with the current,to much weight and to slow of a presentation,to little weight and it's going to go by fish to fast u want the bobber moving at the natural speed of the current

      Okay right on, I appreciate the help! I was out not to long ago, running a 1oz setup on some fast moving current. Just didn't feel like it was fishing right. Like you said went to fast or my bobber didn't sit right in the water

      @@JavierMartinez-wo8cz it's a must for bobber fishing needs to look natural going through the hole,but in a certain situation where the water is more turbulent and low visibility u can add just a little more weight for a searching rig,but that's when the water is high and off color,more weight to slow it down
