Both Pakistan and India who were partitioned in 1947 and had been enemies for decade and now they have left a dark past behind and both countries have decided to be together as one and cheer the happiness that humanity is meant to do which is very rare these days. Perhaps old wounds and prejudice still run deep, and that of course is taught to children by their parents. 🏆👏😁

Partition created powerful religious majorities in both countries and minorities have become smaller and more vulnerable than they were before. Partition seemed to be the quick and simple solution to the British. Now the unification of both countries seems almost unreal, but I'm pretty sure it will eventually happen one day. People on both sides of the border are the same, but unfortunately they are taught to think otherwise all their lives.
I feel it completely like you, but I fear they will never be united again. Religion is a huge topic and there is lots of discrimination if you’re of the “wrong” one
