People already suggested their Immortal Songs performance of Black Cat Nero but I didn't see enough people suggest their song Celebrate which is, to me, easily their most "soulful" song. Jongho hits another one of those notes that honestly just gives me goosebumps. There's a special video version of it (not really an MV, it was just done while they were on set for a photo shoot) but maybe even check out a live performance if you get a chance because he does it live as well. He's amazing. I'm so glad you enjoyed this. :)
Also, don't forget the lyrics (which I think you can put on for the special video)! That song has some of my favorite lyrics of all of their songs. It's literally a song thanking their fans for being born and being themselves. Super meaningful.

One thing to know about ATEEZ is that they never do bland covers, they make it their own song that makes you forget what the original sounded like for a minute.

I love seeing the way everyone is a little thrown off by the cover at first, and then Hongjoong comes in with his rap. It's almost like trusting that they're not going to lead you somewhere bad. It's what they do, they never half-ass a cover.
You should react to their dance covers! The KQ Fellaz pre-debut performance videos, Sicko Mode, One Time Comin, Gang. They're all shorter videos (Around 1:00/1:30) so they're easy to get through but absolutely insane!

When they cover a song they dont take it word for word, they change it up and bring their own take on it, some ppl may hate it but most of us respect it bcz they put so much effort on that instead of just getting the original instrumental and singing over it :)

Not gonna lie, man really had me sweating with a title like that but thankfully this wasn't a diss reaction like I thought it was gonna be lmfao. Thanks for giving the song a chance despite being unsure of it! Definitely a different vibe from the original but ATZ generally likes to add their own creative flair on their covers -- not everyone's cup of tea, so I'm glad you vibed with it by the end :)
Jumping the gun on this one is pretty much required. With Yeosang's laying on the couch and giving us smooth sexy, San reminding us why he's the lead vocalist, Jongho ripping up the role of main vocalist, Yunho surprising us with his tender song start, Seonghwa's sliding up to the front (and he's beautiful enough to do that even if he didn't come with the vocals, so we're doubly blessed), Wooyoung looking too good to be alone, and Hong Joong killing us with the rap? Yep, absolutely a bop and a half. It's like a song you've never heard before that you know all the words to. Your reaction was perfection. Thanks! (and yes, I'm late to the party)

Sebass, Ateez always do justice to covers. THey are the best 4th gen with splashes of soulful jazz. They do covers with style all their own. I am glad they dont just do replicas of the original songs. They think out of the box.
