The two green ladies army caps--the plain gold band is for an officer. The scrambled eggs are for field grade officers. In the Army, that's a Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, and the Generals. Enlisted people had a plain green hatband. Those hats were issued until 1978 (or thereabouts) when the army changed the dress uniform for women and we started wearing black berets. When I went through Basic training, they were issuing both dress uniforms until they finished rolling out the new ones.
Those naval pants are from WWII. I have the whole uniform. There should be13 buttons. The WAC (Woman's Army Corps) hats--one is company grade and the one with scrambled eggs is for a field grade officer. That artillery shell is brass and does not contain any rust. It's just oxidized brass or tarnish and can be polished with ammonia or brasso brass cleaner.
Thank you for sharing the old black and white pictures!! Some brought tears to my eyes thinking of what they went through! Also a lot of memories of my late husband. He was in VietNam and you have a coat with the patches he had!! Again, Thanks you!! I hope you make a great profit!!😊
The "Shoulder Mark, ROTC" goes on the green dress uniform. Those epaulets on top the shoulders unbutton and you slide the shoulder mark onto the epaulette and button it down. Mine had my rank embroidered on them.
In case it helps at minute 24:16, they are identifications of the Spanish army, it can be from the 40s to 60s due to the antiquity although they are still used to distinguish the different units, the red badge with the tower is from the body of sappers, the eagle was used in all uniforms as a general emblem of the army and the one next to the tower is infantry that of the grenade if I don't know who it belongs to. Greetings from Spain.
10:54 world war 2. M33 Italian. Vent holes in the sides , not bullet holes. The peak in the front is a drip edge. Make water run backwards. Plus you can dig with it if you have no shovel.
Hey brother Mike, that M 58 helmet is from Austria. Any hat with gold bands is an officers hat, lieutenant and above, the scrambled eggs women's hat is major and above.
Michael, there are companies that can transfer those movies onto DVDS so that you would be able to watch them at home. It shouldn't be expensive. I would be very interested in seeing what is on those reels!
When you have to go to the bathroom in a hurry in those Navy pants, you grab hold of the two top corners of the flap, pull up, out and then down, and those buttons open right up as though they were snaps. It takes a bit of practice though. Nice haul. :-)
The pants are u.s. navy dress blues the buttons go in the front and going to the bathroom was be patient and hold it in I graduated boot camp in 97 and we still had those
You said that video reel was soldiers coming out of a boat up on the beach? Now, I don’t know much, but that sounds like WWII D Day Normandy invasion to me, or maybe Iwo Jima? Either one, who knows? You could have something really valuable there!
The bell bottoms with the traditional 13 Buttons are navy. You trained the pants so you could just pull on one of the buttoned corners and all the buttons would come out of the holes on that side when you wanted to take a piss, almost like, velcro.
22:30 is a couple of 20mm rounds, they look like possibly for the US Vulcan Phalanx CIWS. Those are the inert rounds that are cycled through the weapon during maintenance.
You're right they are 20mm maintenance rounds that were replaced by nylon rounds because they were more expensive and could cause damage while cycling. They were used in 20mm aircraft systems, shipboard systems & ground based systems, basically any 20mm system. They also have the clips on them to link them together.
The brass cap badges near end of video were either: if eagle badge was single-headed then badges were old Imperial Austrian (Reign of Franz Joseph, WWI and earlier; if eagle badge was double headed thern badges were Imperial Russian, same time period. (prior to 1917).
I couldn't see the head stampsa of the bullet bases but what you referred to as 30-30 looked to be British .303 Enfield rounds used for Lee-Enfield rifles and machine guns Vickers, Lewis, enen the aircraft Browning machine guns used .303 caliber ammunition. So British and very efficient to use sam ammo on all those weapons.
Mike a bit of fun fact for you Mike >>>> In W.W.1 and W.W. 2 The GI’S would cook in them steel pots/Helmets!! Could be why the one you showed was all rusted up..
The first vid showed an air soft M1911A1 minus one grip, the German holster in brown could also take a P.38, the black US holster M1911A1. The other German caps you did not seem to show were seen in a box, black with white trim was possibly Allgemeines SS, worth a bundle if real. Incidentally, if you have provenance for military kit you increase its value, like the user's name on the 1966-67 M1, its cover adds value as does its being a para's. The first vid's UK cap Royal West Kent was of that now defunct unit possibly WW2; the white horse of Hannover and Invicta being the Kent county badge.
I always like looking through old photo's what people wore and the thing's that are captured in the picture. Museums like to buy those pictures to hang them with the thing's to tell a story behind the photos
Mike, during movies at a theater between films (yes they played 2 movies for one ticket) intermission videos would be from military. My mom always watched to see if she could identify where they were from and if she could see her sons. Look for a historical theater in your area. I think there's one in Sausalito. They'd love to play those for you and maybe buy.
1963 u.s. Navy bell bottoms, in order to go to the bathroom you have to unbutton them all and drop your drawers. Place your derriere on the toilet, and then get up and repeat the process of buttoning them all up.
The flag is DDR East German (black, red and gold), the helmet either itey M33 or Hungarian post war near copy you'll note the German liner style; although meant to look like the soviet's to keep Moscow happy. Helmet cover for PASGT helmet as in Desert Storm. Greeny plastic empty case is for ear muffs/plug-in type; collar dogs probably Polish. The brown surrounded German cap (earlier video) is political, possibly a gauleiter's, lots of very interesting stuff!
Big metal bullet with the link still attached out the box is a 25mm fired out the bushmaster chain gun like what’s found on the LAV-25 lol I know like 75% of the stuff in this video lol everything but the eastern block stuff
Helmet is a ww2 vintage russian infantry. And the pants are buttons forward when worn. Had a buddy in the navy in 2006 who had to wear those trousers. Newer version of course.
Pirate you got to find somebody with a projector and if you can get away with showing it on UA-cam please do. To me it's intriguing to know what's on those films
White Chicken dish people collect those in particular and that one looks like what they call Milk Glass.. Not sure because I would need too feel and check it out but br aware for things like that can be worth some money not alot but some..
De parte de tesoros, esas medallas rojas con águilas, torreones y granadas son de la guerra civil Española 1936 y pertenecen al banco de los nacionales
You need to comb through this very well especially the film and photos what could look like some standard war photo to you could be something of great significance that a collector could pay big for and you are in the right era for the big ticket military items
Las insignias pequeñas de metal encontradas dentro de la caja de municion son del ejército español. La del águila con la cruz es del cuerpo de infantería La Bomba es de artillería El castillo de ingenieros La de la corneta y banderín de caballería
The blue bell bottoms are enlisted dress blue 13 button pants. The buttonholes at the top corners on one side would wear and stretch out with use so they could be easily opened with one hand when needed. In fact those few bottoms plus the fourteenth one in the middle were all that were need to be opened to drop your pants if you adjusted the laces at back correctly for your body. They are also hip hugging and in the 60's and early 70's lots of the very small sized ones were sold as surplus. So up north, they were very popular, being wool, nice and warm and very hot looking on the hippy chicks, at least after an old salt explained that they would get broken in with use and that word got out. Your daughter should try them on. It was a hard sell to get a gal to do so for the first time for all the reasons that you mentioned, but as soon they saw themselves in the mirror the girls loved what the hiphuggers did for them.
that is a 76mm shell. fired from a Sherman tank or a Hellcat tank destroyer. People in hollywood pay some $$$ for real and authentic casings. Those trench arts are 50 caliber in reference to the gun length not the size of the shell; so you have a shell made from a 76mm/50 caliber tank round. the other thing is a 20mm linked round usually from an Orelikon or Bofors gun.
God bless you and your family and another great video and man these units you get are so awesome man you have some great stuff there militarily is always amazing and great stuff keep them great videos coming and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings always 👍👍😄👍👍👍👍👍
don't know if you will read this but the navy pants are called dungarees they button in the front I know this because my Daddy wore them when he was in the Navy
Hey Auction Pirate. I was watching your 7,000 locker purchase and got lost in the order of which video was to follow. Was confused on the sequence of the vids. Can you number your vids .? Thanks Man.
Blue Russian hat is a police hat from the 80s, the rusty helmet is also Russian Cold War era helmet. Not worth much... 10$ Flag is East German Soviet block
I believe the US Navy wear those pants for many many years the buttons go on the front and I think they're made out of wool if I'm not mistaken how awful they were compared to those beautiful dress whites
Hi Pirate M great photos. So authentic. I’m going to Krakow Poland tomorrow, going to check out the salt mines, food and shopping... but I’m definitely NOT going to The gas chambers. I’m looking forward to this trip. ..r Z

Celebrating Friday is great...feeling it on Saturday sucks ! Hope the day got better.. smiles for miles.😀

These videos are beyond words. WOW just doesn't quite express what you are uncovering
Love the videos Mike, keep them coming. You are one of the few UA-camrs who show real dedication to what you do. Congrats!!
14:15 Those are called "13 button blues", you don't count the lone button at the top. Also called Crackerjacks. And the buttons are the front.
Michael, there are companies that can transfer those movies onto DVDS so that you would be able to watch them at home. It shouldn't be expensive. I would be very interested in seeing what is on those reels!
This unit has been awesome. watching you go thru it has been awesome. Thanks Mike

Those Navy dress blue pants are the same style i wore , buttons in the front string in the back , impossible to use the bathroom in a hurry lol
The large single giant bullet and link (for belt) looks like a round for a 20mm auto-cannon,
could be ship mounted for anti aircraft use.
15:16 The buttons go in the front of the pants. As far as unbuttoning them you just have to start early!!!
You could open them quick, lacing in back was for adjusting the fit
Hey Mike. Hope y’all are doing good. Been waiting for this follow up video. You know I’m enjoying it.
You said that video reel was soldiers coming out of a boat up on the beach? Now, I don’t know much, but that sounds like WWII D Day Normandy invasion to me, or maybe Iwo Jima? Either one, who knows? You could have something really valuable there!
@ 3:21 The ashtray with the shield & helmet is USMA West Point, quite collectible.
Pirate gotta hangover? Neat pictures! And all the military stuff you find
The big bullets x 2 with links were 20mm auto-cannon rounds, likely for anti aircraft use.
man! if you know your history, even photos to a museum is invaluable!
The bell bottoms with the traditional 13 Buttons are navy. You trained the pants so you could just pull on one of the buttoned corners and all the buttons would come out of the holes on that side when you wanted to take a piss, almost like, velcro.

I would love to buy that Brave Rifles patch.I was in that unit in the early 70s
Ron Nepstad tell us about it Ron?
I couldn't see the head stampsa of the bullet bases but what you referred to as 30-30 looked to be British .303 Enfield rounds used for Lee-Enfield rifles and machine guns Vickers, Lewis,

Polish military lapel pins Red&Brass ones in the steel green box...

Those colorful red 80`s cowboy boots are cool. Do you have an auction link or something.?

The buttons do in the front. No belts. The laces on the back were to tighten the pants up.
LOVING THIS STORAGE UNIT!!😀💜💜💜 I'm hoping I see items that are connected with my grandfather's time in the Navy! 🇺🇲💙🤍❤🇺🇲
After the Soviet era hat, the helmet you were wondering about was a Model 58 Soviet helmet... also the flag was East German, not Masonic.
The helmet was actually an M33 Italian helmet, 58 is the size of the liner.
Yes that camoed piece of cloth at about 17:18 is a helmet cover
those are old navy dress blue pants, you only need to unbutton about 5 or 6 buttons in order to "hit the head" *go to the bathroom*
Dude....Some of that stuff should go to the military museums
Helmet is a ww2 vintage russian infantry. And the pants are buttons forward when worn. Had a buddy in the navy in 2006 who had to wear those trousers. Newer version of course.
The can with all the Trench Art in it is a movie reel can. The several film reel cans that make up a film go in the can. Kinda uncommon.
LOL--"that ought to be worth almost a dollar."
The helmet on minute 10:10 is a mod33 italian ww2 used in the army forces till 1990
Pirate you got to find somebody with a projector and if you can get away with showing it on UA-cam please do. To me it's intriguing to know what's on those films
The "butter knife" in the ammo can would be part of a mess kit.
LOL! It was very difficult to go to the bathroom in the Navy Blues!
Nice vid very interesting plz show some more.! thanks in advance .
Wow great unit 🥰 love you pirate Mike 💞
Love the locker. I watched the Bad Boys last night and they all look up you. They respect andclije you. Very nice men
American ww1 helmet was a Brodie (Kelly) helmet same a English helmet. USA used The Kelly style till 1942 then adopted the M1
White Chicken dish people collect those in particular and that one looks like what they call Milk Glass.. Not sure because I would need too feel and check it out but br aware for things like that can be worth some money not alot but some..

thanks for the subtitles :)
Your welcome . I’m working on all videos now .
that skinny shell is a tank gun round probably a 75mm from a m4a1 Sherman tank artillery rounds are much bigger in circumference
You need to comb through this very well especially the film and photos what could look like some standard war photo to you could be something of great significance that a collector could pay big for and you are in the right era for the big ticket military items
Las insignias pequeñas de metal encontradas dentro de la caja de municion son del ejército español.
La del águila con la cruz es del cuerpo de infantería

Se colocan en la solapa del cuello de las chaquetas
Love watching you all! I’m from Land of Lincoln!! You are great. Keep doing what you’re doing.
another GREAT video! thank you

You need to put some of that online, you would get more for it than local I would imagine.
I can now prove I can see the future... and I can see many many garage sales in your future!
I watched 3 videos
about this locker. I think this guy will never get what he paid back again.
Even the military stuff is very common and cheap.
The flag is a ddr flag. That was East Germany called before the wall fell

Guessing the 2 large bullets at the end are 20 mm
Red diamond shape badges are lapel badges for dress uniforms
East German flag prior to the wall falling! Both women covers/hats are junior and senior officer ... 80-90’s
God bless you and your family and another great video and man these units you get are so awesome man you have some great stuff there militarily is always amazing and great stuff keep them great videos coming and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings always

Thank you
The two 20mm bullets are off of a belt from a fighter
Great stuff love WW2 items excellent UNIT.
Check the medical alert pendant a lot of the older ones are sterling silver
The film can be converted to a DVD but it costs quite a bit.
The leather basket-weave belt that you asked if it's a cop belt, yes it is but your missing the buckle.
Hey Auction Pirate. I was watching your 7,000 locker purchase and got lost in the

jeeperscreatures I agree
Blue Russian hat is a police hat from the 80s, the rusty helmet is also Russian Cold War era helmet. Not worth much... 10$
Flag is East German Soviet block
Rose of Versailles nope helmets Bulgarian
Russian liners were of a 3-segment type, satellites' differed.
Gonna miss you Pirate ☠️👻🎃🧞♂️🧚🏻♀️ Hopefully you come back soon Thank you for true !!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️✌🏻🙏
Pirate--- how much is the orange anchor Hocking coffee cup?
Been looking for one just like it for my husband. His grandfather had one like that and l want to get him one like it as a gift.
I believe the US Navy wear those pants for many many years the buttons go on the front and I think they're made out of wool if I'm not mistaken how awful they were compared to those beautiful dress whites
Collar devices...the red diamond.....the one with the bomb is ordinance
Hi Pirate M great photos. So authentic. I’m going to Krakow Poland tomorrow, going to check out the salt mines, food and shopping... but I’m definitely NOT going to The gas chambers. I’m looking forward to this trip. ..r Z
Need to be a type 3 ffl to sell those giant rounds
Did you notice in the pictures in the album, the picture that looks like Elvis?
Sorry, wrong war. Those are WWII pics, Elvis served from 1958-60. Nice likeness though. :-)
Ash tray has the Military Academy insignia on it (West Point)
You just need a reel to reel projection screen.
Usually ww1 helmets had a brim all the way around
The W.W.1 helmets looks like a flying saucer flat with a dome in the middle
9:45 the name in the soviet hat is Drobutko and the red flag with the white sun in the blue square is the flag of taiwan
possibily a 20 mm from a plane or a mounted rifle
The helmet is postwar Italian ! Look at the Z shaped stitch on liner !
The pictures of men in the fields were rice fields and they carried "honey buckets" to fertilzie
25:40 those are "freedom seeds".
Doing good job 👍
Todo esta muy padre que buen video y que vien la traducción
😎👍😈
White Chicken on nest was introduced in the 1940's
hey Pirate, the od black naval pants have 13 buttons in the front to represent the original 13 colonies of the U.S. just so ya know....
