Interesting team showcase! I think speedruns are something that would bring a great deal of fun to Injustice and probably be well received by the community. However, I disagree with 2 aspects of timekeeping you mentioned:
1) The timer should not include loading screens, as that puts those with older devices at a disadvantage. Just anecdotally I've noticed that my (iPhone 11) device loads fights several seconds faster than people with older/Android devices I've watched, like bdckr.
2) The last screen that shows power credits should be skippable (i.e. tapping currency to skip to next fight), since during PZ the animation to get to the final BR total would be lengthened by several seconds. This essentially means that speedrun attempts wouldn't be worth doing at all during PZ. Besides, you can go in match history to show evidence of accumulated BR, so it could become standard to simply require that.

Interesting suggestions there. Either way I wouldn't mind changing the rules in terms of how we measure time, I'm confident that this team still holds the record regardless.

The most unrealistic thing about this is the fact that none of the AIs are constantly blocking your special when they're not stunned, and the fact that you stun 95% of the time on tag-in. If I tried, I'd have to make six tag-in attempts before I get ONE stun.
The cloak of Destiny increases the stun chance on top of banes base chance. Its more or less guaranteed.
Though the blocking is certainly lucky. I had a battle earlier where they blocked 22 Special moves 😂😂

this may have potential to be just as fast, but i’ve been using lord joker, suicide squad dead shot (equipped with tantu totem, loa adept knives, and RAGS) and batgirl. i start off with joker tagged in, then tag in dead shot and he has full power and then i just spam sp1.

if you click nth metal just as you come out of a battle it takes you straight to the fight button, will cut off like 3 seconds each battle
If you tap on the nth metal while rewards are being calculated,it will skip that section and proceed,saving even more time.

Skopos how come people don’t have support cards at elite levels and does it make a difference because I’ve been trying to figure out how to get rid of the support cards whenever I get them or the ones I have already
Hi Skopos I’m late to the party with this team but my luchador bane is completely maxed out with augments and ex10, hawkgirl has no augments and e7. My flash is E1 and I could promote further to increase his damage output but will I get harder matchups? I can already earn 5k battle rating with that team but as my flash is only on his first promotion level he is pretty useless unless promoted, I have all alliance cr3dit augments as well. Hope you’re able to help

I really think it would've been faster if you just used Bane's basic attacks against tagging-in enemies with 1 health. It sure would hit a lot faster than a second and a half of charging his S1, and they won't retaliate because they have no power to threaten you with a special. But good work. To me that counts as just 2mins and a half. Also are Bane and Flash both fully augmented in crits and damage?
After knocking out the first opponent, the second opponent will always hit you first if you try to use basic attacks so using Bane's special is better/guarantees quicker matches because if you get hit, you lose valuable seconds there. And yes, fully augmented.

Question here: I use elite x luchador bane with cloak of destiny, nekron scythe and knives of the set of assasins, but when its not crit it does only 160k damage (at crit it does over 500k damage) to the first target, why is it? i know his SP1 base damage is 40k, +25% from his passive, +50% from the knives, + 200% from the cloak, +200% from the scythe = 40k * (1+0.25+0.5+2+2) = 230k. So the damage doesnt stack properly?
Just tried out this team myself and these are my thoughts.
The team is indeed fast as for the one-time record. But I wouldnt recommend taking it as a main team for a long run BR farm. Its inconsistent AF.
Stuns on tag-in are not 100% for both characters.
AI will usually block.
Many invulnerabilities like Astro-Harness / Flashpoint batman/aquaman / Batman Ninja / et cetera - they will bully the glass-cannon team.
About 25-30% of games will be full mess, usually even loses.
Got slightly lucky with the lack of astro harnesses, nice

You could save tons of time by just tapping and not using special 1 when they have no health.
Indeed Lucy Bane is the fastest MP grinding card, but at some point the speed of the matches depends on the opponents--the true fastest ultimate battle is when there are no Astro Harnesses, KO avoiders, Special Dodgers, Resurrections, Gaslight Batmans, Ninjatos, etc.
In theory it is possible to go faster than this because there were resurrections on the enemy team, but getting an ideal ultimate battle like this is very improbable. The battle I did record did have two Astro Harnesses, two resurrections, and also had a battle with Regime Hawkgirl's special disabling passive which slowed down the time.
I have done under 3 minutes myself as well but have not recorded it, as these matchups happen too rarely and I barely play ultimate battles. I do have a build with Lucy Bane that should be faster on average (including against worst case scenarios for enemy teams) for an ultimate battle than this team, but I'll reveal it only after I promote those cards to get the team to max battle points and when I decide to spam recharges in MP during a character season much later :)

Just accumulated over time - playing thousands of MP matches is bound to give you a decent amount. Otherwise I only use recharges when I'm grinding Ultimate Battles, literally don't use them for anything else.

Could you have done this faster if you went for a light attack on the final character? Obviously not on the second character cause of Luchador Bane’s cool down would likely cause him to take some punches
Also: I feel the end time should be when the “Victory” frame appears. This leaves less room for lag imo, people should still show their final BR for it to count tho

I did some testing after I saw your comment. So yes, you're right that whenever the second enemy tags in he tends to hit first (with either basic attack or special) so using Bane's basic wouldn't work. But Bane seems to be able to knock out the third enemy with a basic attack! This doesn't really make sense to me because for both times, both the second and third enemies are the ones tagging in, so in theory Bane's recovery frame duration should also remain the same in both instances. Yet for the 2nd enemy it seems like Bane's recovery is slower, but for the 3rd he recovers quicker.
Though I've yet to find a reasonable explanation, you're right that theoretically I could've finished matches slightly quicker with using basic attack to KO the 3rd enemy. It reduced the duration from 6 in-game seconds to 5.
EDIT: After further testing, I found that the 3rd enemy sometimes is able to land the first hit before I can use Bane's basic attack. In conclusion, I still think spamming his SP1 is the fastest/safest way of speed grinding, because while you gain a few seconds from using his basic, if he gets hit first you lose way more seconds.
Specifically when the final enemy is Injustice 2 Superman it is worth the risk-no?

Opening nth metal pro pack is better based on my experience. I open once a week after I get my mp reward and for the last two openings, I got nightwing and black adam.

dude i need to ask, how did u get so many credits? i have around 2 mil but that took me like a loongg time to accumulate.
If you play this game 8-10 hours a day, trust me you'll get there. That's the duration I played daily for months on end, but nowadays I've significantly reduced my play time.

Hey skopos I had a question/request. How do I max out my bronze and silvers since they gain so low xp from online and are basically unable to do story mode. Is there an easier and more efficient way to upgrade than playing story mode cause I don’t want to waste an op characters energy to redo story mode battles with my bronzes.
If they aren’t already promoted then do that for sure. Then, just look for boss and bonus battles that your teams can complete easily.
Alternately , what many players do is run an escort service. Have 1 or 2 more powerful gold cards 'escort' the weaker silver/ bronze cards though the SP higher levels that reward greater XP

He belongs in the same category of cards who would prolong matches (like AK Batgirl, BNj Catwoman). I'd use E2 Flash's basic attacks/SP1 until Gaslight Batman tags out, and then Lucy Bane can AoE nuke when he kills GL Batman's teammate.

The number of points you get per match depends on your enemy's stats, and their stats depend on your team stats. So when you say you only get 2K per match, I would guess the Gold cards you use are at Elite II or lower? Or you use Silver cards for MP.

Someone mentioned the same thing in the comments somewhere. It could go 1 in-game second faster (not significantly faster) but there is a chance where the enemy is able to basic attack first before you can use a basic attack of your own, and if that happens it will be a lot slower than if I just used a whole special. You can test it out yourself.

You sould have hit the injustice 2 Superman with normal attak and not SP1, then that record would be at least 2 seconds less

Just bc someone has high credits and nth doesn't mean they cheat. Don't assume. He works hard in this game. Not everyone cheats/hacks/takes the easy way out.
