I have a weapon idea: a stick with chain on it that has a ball at the end of it. Old good chain and ball :) Negative trait: while spining it, you can hit yourself with it.
What about a whip? It would be a cool weapon, and if it's too difficult to aim make it an homing whip, to balance it make it do a bit less damage than the other weapons
I have a few ideas, they may be good, may be bad, but I'll share: A double bladed sword (or glaive), it will be interesting to wield, it shouldn't be too overpowered because You can still get hit, and it mostly depends on the skill. An idea I've had since the original Clone Drone in the Danger Zone game: a gun, but in a balanced way, the way I think it will be balanced if You will make it use something like Spidertron's bomb projectile, and make it either have a cooldown, or a reloading mechanic, and decrease the penetration power of projectiles, but increase projectile speed. That way You will be able to make a sidegrade (something that just fills another niche, and isn't an upgrade for an already existing something) for bow, which exchanges damage and projectile size for fire rate and projectile speed. A giant sword, like in the Funky Japanese Cartoons™, the way it could show the weight is by lowering the controller sensitivity while the weapon is equipped, so that it would take more strength to use. It could be another weapon where You trade something in exchange for something else, in this case, damage and size for speed. And a few flamethrower-esque ideas: A shocker, which temporarily disables enemies, can be useful if You are surrounded, and isn't as overpowered as flamethrower, if it will have cooldown. A hand blaster which will quickly fire an arrow, but will have a cooldown before You can shoot another one, this one is good in most situations where You need to act quickly, like if someone decides to attack You from the back, or from the sides. And a telekinesis glove, which will give You an ability to pull Your weapons back to You from a distance (if it's possible to let go of them), this one is more of a quality of life upgrade, which gives You more ways to eliminate enemies, but is also risky to use, since You need to not miss the timing.
Some of these suggestions are already in the game, actually :] The Double Bladed Sword, the Two Hander Sword(which is kinda like an oversized anime sword)are all here. And the whole-pulling-a-weapon-back-to-your-hand is going to be a feature built inside the Human Bot’s body, no glove necessary.
As an option I can also suggest adding an energy whip with cool physics, I think this weapon could be on any of the bosses like Magnet Variant, Time Variant and Ninja Variant
Like a grappling hook kinda thing but has a slow charge. It could pull enemies towards you or launch you in a direction so I could combo with other weapons like a sword
Maybe you could make an energy system for the flamethrower. Like maybe having to get x amount of kills to be able to use it again, or maybe energy stones you can find in certain locations or something.
I have some glove ideas: first, shield glove: this glove would create a rounded energy shield on the arm it's equipped on, it blocks arrows, but doesn't reflect them. You could also add a spear that would come back to the player if it is thrown, drawn to the player's hand by a magnetic frequency.
Maybe you could add a sword kinda like the star wars crossguard so it would be harder for enemies to cut the handle (assuming every handle can get cut).
One thing u recommend is instead of nerfs maybe you could add enemy’s that counterplay a weapon making it so you have to take a different approach or using a different weapon
add fire variants for all of the weapons, but they would be harder to find than just the energy weapons. Also, you should add a trident for the water part.
Alright, try a fairly long handle, (about the size of your arm.) with an equally long blade on each end, a Darth Maul style weapon. you need to put both hands on the weapon to properly balance it, otherwise it will have a delay. This may be a terrible idea but I couldn't care less.
Nunchucks that have one side for the handle and one side as an energy blade, of course it would be dangerous to use. Also a double sided sword (I forgot if this was already a thing or not so oops if it is)
Ideas I have for weapons: Double sided Electro Staffs- Like the Magnaguards in Star Wars, when it hits it's enemies, it will electrocute them while breaking down every breaking down each block off of them similar to fire weapons. It can also get cut in half like the Halberd weapon while also deactivating it. Chain Flail Mace- This weapon can be attached to the robot's hand and can be upgraded with fire. Claw Hands- This one acts similar to Wolverine's claws and can be upgraded to be larger. Harpoon/Grapple hand- This weapon can allow you to grapple on any enemies to bring them to you for an up-close kill. You can also use this for ledges as well.
We have Double Bladed Swords and Scythes, will those work in place of "electrostaffs"? Also, the devs actually made claws as the first gauntlet weapons, but they quickly dropped the idea and scrapped it.
Maybe a mace or mace on a chain? Or even some knuckle dusters? You could add drop kicking. Where it takes longer for you to drop kick them and it takes up more energy and takes longer for you to get up.
I would think about something like a glaive on a string. You can throw it to stab an enemy and pull it back, dragging them to you or getting them stuck.
just add the whiplash from ultrakill nah jk, but that was something i thought of with my recommendation either a grappling hook arm that can be swapped between piercing through enemies or going into them and pulling them back, and another idea i had was just a rope with a blade at the end that you could swing around, i feel like it would be really fun and epic to be swinging it around
you should add the good old Kick. EDIT: i just realized that people may get sick... but if you add the spider-guys (i forgot their name...) and add the standing up/ getting knocked down feature it could be fine.
Also a way to get rid of making people sick from getting knocked down (If you add it) is by putting them in 3rd person and play an animation of them getting knocked down. Like how Dr. Strange pushes spiderman out of his body for a few seconds in that one movie. (I forgot which movie)

**Ice, freezing (slowing) mechanic.** Opposite of the flamethrower if it aint already planned, idk . **Ideas that come with it** -The longer you freeze them, the slower they move and at the end becomes totally frozen for a short duration (maybe adds some sort of blueish tone to the enemy, or perhaps feeling extra and add extra ice looking, see through pixels that shatter of after enemy unfreez themselfs). -can focus the weapon on special body parts, more effectiv and faster freezing - totally frozen body parts shatter after being hit by player Weapons -and ofcourse takes lot of stamina Special one -when aiming at a wall or floor it makes them look icy and the floor gets slippery so enemy have harder time following u and coordinating their movement . Dont know if it would be much, but i think it wouldnt hurt to post it anyways.
Possibly a electric crossbow thingy, it'd be chain damage sort of, you fire with a precise shot and if its good enough in the right spot it creates a chain of lightning through random enemies close by, the chain lightning could hit random spots of an enemies body like ana rm or leg, to balance this is that it would take a mich more precise aim than the bow, and on the basis of the bow, is it in the vr edition?

I type of fist with a sharp crescent so you can dual wields enemy’s and are really agile. The uniqueness with this is that is that holding the fist in the way of an attack won’t cut it. You have to punch the attack to parry. The point is you have to be ferocious unlike others do to the speed and agility you need multiple strikes to finish an opponent. The point is you don’t want to be on the defensive and it isn’t good when your backed in a corner forced on the defense

Idea: It would be cool if you could upgrade your arms to push enemies around and grab the enemies weapon before it hits you and pull them or throw them off Ballance either way you just punch them to death also you can block arrows with your arms and you can turn the upgrade on or off or only activate the upgrade to one arm Weakness: your very vulnerable and if you don't time the grab right you could lose your arms or life also anything with range can easily kill you if not careful and you can't grab or hold anything without the handle breaking off the only way to grab or hold something is turn off the upgrade
The VR game will have something like that. It's called the push glove, and you can get it by defeating the Magnet Variant. You can also grab weapons that are from a distance by default.
How about some sort of gravity gun. You can shoot it at a robot to make them hover and unable to attack you. Might be handy for crowed control. Might be a cool idea to bring the magnetic shoes from clone drone in the danger zone in the game, that way some robots aren't effected to the gravity gun.
what about a flail like weapon it could have upgrades like flames a bigger flail or like energy spikes on the ball and if the spikes go into a enemy not that fast you could pull the enemy towards you and it should do more damage the faster you swing it around but swinging it around faster and faster should cost energy to do it shouldn't be that overpowered
if your still taking ideas id say some kind of dagger that you could throw or stab with. it could be used by bots that look simalar to the kick bot from the non vr version of clone drone
We kinda have a dagger in the VR gane: A knife. And yes, it is the lightest/fastest weapon there is, so it’s really powerful when you have the Time Glove equipped.
A Fencer class Bot is being planned(according to a spreadsheet shown on stream), but they're going to only be wielding the default VR Sword, presumably in a stabbing motion.
So basically all the enemies have the weapons we have besides for Spiderr we don’t have anything from him, so I was thinking we could get like a canon on your back that shoots up in the air and then it will stone enemies but the enemies get pretty quickly so that it’s not just some overpowered thing it’s just meant to like push the enemies away in case there’s too many(there’s a longer version of this, but it’s pretty long, so I just summarize it)So I haven’t seen much of the VR videos I’m about to see them, but in the game there’s the sword bow hammer spear and then there’s different upgrades you can get for them like the shield there’s kick and there’s flame breath now all of our enemies have these abilities, including jet pack What’s the one thing that we don’t have yet stuff from the spider Tron? We haven’t gotten anything from that yet. what you can add but I was thinking of a couple things like I don’t want it to be overpowered, but spider can knock people down and slice them. I’m not sure you can add this into VR because it’d be pretty powerful. You have to add a bunch of red dots that go. Everywhere might be too much graphics but also when it shoots, it shoots out the red darts that could kill you, if you do it as a weapon and you shoot it you have to protect yourself from it so I was thinking you could add a shield if you have an added that already and you have to unlock the shield to get the spider weapon but since it is pretty overpowered, I’m not sure how to underpowered it or nerf it but you guys are the game of helpers, so this is just so this is just an idea, but I was also thinking you could add like a height advantage like you won’t really be able to see it but I did see one where you’re adding like a 3-D camera or something that’s the only way you’re gonna be able to see it but it’s basically just you get a little thing on your back and it has legs on it and I’m not talking like you’re like all the way up to like hammer bot 4.0 where it’s all black and blue I’m not talking about that height. Imagine... Laser... Em... Uh... Wait... Laser... Wrist... Knife... like the jester from tabs... but with lasers instead... and the balancing is that you can use them as a tool to capture arrows... and shoot them back?
How about a sort of force cannon that doesn't do damage, but knocks enemies back and ifpointed at the ground or a nearby wall it blasts the player forwards, so intead of being a proper weapon it's more of a utility.
Good one, what if it also pushes enemies, and when used on a wall or floor will create a wave that knocks enemies away on touch? Another idea is that enemies will get slightly damaged if they hit an obstacle while getting knocked back by the glove.
Not a weapon but a gimmick, and uppercut that launches you and the person in front of you into the sky. So basically doomfists uppercut from overwatch 1
Because it's VR, a few levels might not be accessible to some. The solution is gun. They grab it, destruction the bots, and move on to a level they can do Or just a skip level button, but a gun is funnier

Erik, the main developer of the game, has considered doing a Monk Bot with a staff, actually. In a really old Twitch stream, he pulled up a spreadsheet containing a bunch of Bot classes that he wanted to add to the VR game, and one of them was, you guessed it, a Monk class that wields a staff(and can potentially kick as well if they ever getting around to make kicking work in VR). I wouldn’t want to get your hopes TOO high up, but you might actually have a shot at getting your suggestion added!
I've had that as an idea, because let's be honest, successfully wielding a staff against literal mechanic murder machines is another level of amazing and badass.

A flail would be distinct from all other weapons;
A wrist mounted crossbow would be a good addition.
so instead of just a normel bow you can add a crossbow that has more powerfull arrows but takes longer to reload aka more energy
and you could store the arrows for later use.

Only the Swordfish and the Halberd can be broken. Really hope that the durability mechanic will be applied to the rest of the weapons, though.

I've got a idea, claws and you climb on walls and and if you hold the trigger button you can fire a small short projectile
The devs actually did try making wolverine claws as their first “stab”(heh)at a gauntlet weapon, but they couldn’t make it work.

two cymbals that can make a big shock wave to stun a group and with good single target damage. Anything using an instrument would be pretty cool.

Laser Musket, the bow, but more accurate, faster projectile that can’t be reflected, slower to reload, and has a smaller projectile
You should add some sort of grenade type power up or one time weapon

Idea: It would be cool if you could upgrade your arms to push enemies around and grab the enemies weapon before it hits you and pull them or throw them off Ballance either way you just punch them to death also you can block arrows with your arms and you can turn the upgrade on or off or only activate the upgrade to one arm
Weakness: your very vulnerable and if you don't time the grab right you could lose your arms or life also anything with range can easily kill you if not careful and you can't grab or hold anything without the handle breaking off the only way to grab or hold something is turn off the upgrade
The VR game will have something like that. It's called the push glove, and you can get it by defeating the Magnet Variant. You can also grab weapons that are from a distance by default.
How about some sort of gravity gun. You can shoot it at a robot to make them hover and unable to attack you. Might be handy for crowed control. Might be a cool idea to bring the magnetic shoes from clone drone in the danger zone in the game, that way some robots aren't effected to the gravity gun.
Sickles could be very fun.

what about a flail like weapon it could have upgrades like flames a bigger flail or like energy spikes on the ball and if the spikes go into a enemy not that fast you could pull the enemy towards you and it should do more damage the faster you swing it around but swinging it around faster and faster should cost energy to do it shouldn't be that overpowered
Maybe a big giant axe would be cool and the part of the robots will be crushed and last on the axe to make that more fun
An Axe already exists in the game. You can see some Berserker Bots holding it starting at 0:50.
if your still taking ideas id say some kind of dagger that you could throw or stab with. it could be used by bots that look simalar to the kick bot from the non vr version of clone drone
We have a stabby Knife. As for throwing weapons, we have a Shuriken Launcher, if that counts.
What about a mace? Or a dagger? REALLY low range but really high attack rate? Or a boomerang?
We kinda have a dagger in the VR gane: A knife.
And yes, it is the lightest/fastest weapon there is, so it’s really powerful when you have the Time Glove equipped.
Something like a fencing sword would be cool, like an hybrid between sword and spear
A Fencer class Bot is being planned(according to a spreadsheet shown on stream), but they're going to only be wielding the default VR Sword, presumably in a stabbing motion.

So basically all the enemies have the weapons we have besides for Spiderr we don’t have anything from him, so I was thinking we could get like a canon on your back that shoots up in the air and then it will stone enemies but the enemies get pretty quickly so that it’s not just some overpowered thing it’s just meant to like push the enemies away in case there’s too many(there’s a longer version of this, but it’s pretty long, so I just summarize it)So I haven’t seen much of the VR videos I’m about to see them, but in the game there’s the sword bow hammer spear and then there’s different upgrades you can get for them like the shield there’s kick and there’s flame breath now all of our enemies have these abilities, including jet pack What’s the one thing that we don’t have yet stuff from the spider Tron? We haven’t gotten anything from that yet. what you can add but I was thinking of a couple things like I don’t want it to be overpowered, but spider can knock people down and slice them. I’m not sure you can add this into VR because it’d be pretty powerful. You have to add a bunch of red dots that go. Everywhere might be too much graphics but also when it shoots, it shoots out the red darts that could kill you, if you do it as a weapon and you shoot it you have to protect yourself from it so I was thinking you could add a shield if you have an added that already and you have to unlock the shield to get the spider weapon but since it is pretty overpowered, I’m not sure how to underpowered it or nerf it but you guys are the game of helpers, so this is just so this is just an idea, but I was also thinking you could add like a height advantage like you won’t really be able to see it but I did see one where you’re adding like a 3-D camera or something that’s the only way you’re gonna be able to see it but it’s basically just you get a little thing on your back and it has legs on it and I’m not talking like you’re like all the way up to like hammer bot 4.0 where it’s all black and blue I’m not talking about that height. It just makes you as tall as like a jet pack. Spear bot. but all things have upgrades the sword becomes on fire hammer gets bigger bow gets wider arrows. The spear gets a shield kick gets a super kick jet pack gets a faster pack and I guess flame kinda has an upgrade because it’s the two and then it gets into the third one. I’m pretty sure and then there’s like two directions, and then if you go for the flame thing first they’re silly other password I guess that’s kind of an upgrade means this at least has to have one upgrade and I’m not sure what to add for the upgrade fun VR you should totally add punching. I want to throw hands with a giant hammer bot.

How about a sort of force cannon that doesn't do damage, but knocks enemies back and ifpointed at the ground or a nearby wall it blasts the player forwards, so intead of being a proper weapon it's more of a utility.
Good one, what if it also pushes enemies, and when used on a wall or floor will create a wave that knocks enemies away on touch? Another idea is that enemies will get slightly damaged if they hit an obstacle while getting knocked back by the glove.

Add fire versions to all of the weapons first, than add a jetpack upgrade, (dropped by flying archers), so the player can experience flight.

Idea: time grenade, you can throw it on the ground, it will take 3 seconds to explode, after that, opponents were frozen for 5 seconds.
Not a weapon but a gimmick, and uppercut that launches you and the person in front of you into the sky. So basically doomfists uppercut from overwatch 1

Because it's VR, a few levels might not be accessible to some. The solution is gun. They grab it, destruction the bots, and move on to a level they can do

Erik, the main developer of the game, has considered doing a Monk Bot with a staff, actually.
In a really old Twitch stream, he pulled up a spreadsheet containing a bunch of Bot classes that he wanted to add to the VR game, and one of them was, you guessed it, a Monk class that wields a staff(and can potentially kick as well if they ever getting around to make kicking work in VR).
I wouldn’t want to get your hopes TOO high up, but you might actually have a shot at getting your suggestion added!
I've had that as an idea, because let's be honest, successfully wielding a staff against literal mechanic murder machines is another level of amazing and badass.
