This might be my favorite opening because it's the most honest about what the series is really about. Building a civilization of your dreams where everyone can get along with one another and all that. While there might be fights and conflicts here and there, it's very clear the series is not really about that in the end and usually most problems are handle diplomatically. This series is unique to me because the power fantasy isnt just an op mc but is a near perfect utopia instead.

I caught on to that early on when the primary milestones weren't winning fights/battles but when he expanded the squad and established "diplomatic relations" with other nations. Like how after the Farmas war one of the most significant things was that Gazel and Fuze actually showed up in accordance to the treaties. Fuze pulled a Mumen Rider, ain't do a darn thing, but he showed up, and that's what matters.
Probably my favorite Slime opening alongside Storyteller and Like Flame from Season 2! So catchy!

It's almost like someone had a look at how good Slime Diaries was and have a few ideas for the main series.

This is really where season 3 begins imo. Until now it's felt like 2.5, wrap up the loose ends. Clearly we're setting up the new story arc now. I really enjoyed this episode!
I want season three to go up to the hero awakening arc. If not, I hope the developers make season four right away once season three is done.

People should remember that we started in cave lol. What makes this anime great, is the joy of seeing how everything is built, action is just part of it. We went from a goblin village to a whole kingdom. This anime just keep bringing me joy. The opening is very good.

Yeah, not every anime needs to be a high pack action. It also needs a good moment of heart-to-heart feelings and slice of life to truly be enjoyable sometimes.
Honestly the nation building and politics are some of my favorite parts of the novels that this season should adapt. Of course we’ll get nice action at the arena, and it’ll be funny af, but I just can’t help but love the politics and international affairs from the festival arc.

Encore un chouette opening pour Slime, une saison vraiment très intéressante mais malheureusement très mal comprise pour ceux qui ne vois pas Tensura comme autre chose qu'un anime d'action, alors qu'il n'en est rien. C'est un anime sur le développement d'une nation, on s'agrandit, on crée des liens, amicaux et marchand avec les autres pays, on évites au maximum conflits, Limule n'est pas un combattant, c'est quelqu'un qui pose des bases saine pour faire agrandir son pays, et c'est ça qui est vraiment chouette dans cette anime.

I already dropped this slime season 3 in the last season of anime(spring) and planned to maybe pick it back up after it has finished or next year or have nothing else to watch but i'm gonna pick it back up now cause this op is really good(the best so far to me) and got me really interested again. literally my new favourite op so far this season
such a fitting opening, it really goes well with the main theme of the show. Also what a unique choise of visuals, in a good way.
This opening, especially the ending segment ( 1:22 ) , is highly reminiscent of artwork created by "Alphonse Mucha" I really enjoy how it looks.

This is the best arc in the novels imo. It shows off time the soft power Rimeru and Tempest have as well as just being a break from action to show off that you don't need action scenes to make a story arc good.
In fact in the books the action scenes ate a bit in the way as the real focus is Rimeru trying to find out and salvage his festival while someone or something is trying to undermine it and make him look foolish.
Its going to be so good, and word of advice: "Look out for background characters."

Hiiro and Benimaru are not brothers, he's nicknamed like that because he's older than Benimaru, Shuna and Shion at least, it's like an affectionate nickname because they're of the same race and from the same little village, just like if you were calling your best friend "bro"
The characters from the Coleus OVAs are also in that shot.

Its because outside of the fight with Rimuru and Hinata this season is mostly filler kinda like the second half of season 1 after they beat the ork lord if you desire more action this season will be mostly meetings and city building
Because the big action moments are too few and far between for many people, which is understandable. I always loved the world-building and slice of life moments more than the action, so it’s been fine. Though, the first half of this season has been rough even for me. There’s a better way to get the info dump across in anime form than having many episodes of just meetings
For me it gives me positive vibes. 😊
