The word broadcast first comes from the term for spreading seeds.
It's planting thought seeds in people's mind for as far as you can cast them on the airwaves, which is an old term for winds.

Hi S2, I hope life is treating you well. I never commented on your videos before as I usually just watch and try to fit the pieces together, but your last video (Early election r.) rang a bell in my mind so loudly that I felt the need to "rant in return". My partner (former military) introduced me to your videos, we have been preppers since our early 20's and are now in our early 30's. We changed our whole lives and careers around it and are working on a second health degree, to make sure that our families are not going to succumb to the aftermath. I have known about what is coming from an early age for reasons that I am not going to disclose here, but when I warned those around me (with diplomacy and a careful approach which is hard for me because sometimes I just want to shake them and tell them to open their eyes and read the signs) many years ago, they wouldn’t listen. Many still won’t Many of the things you mentioned in your video, are the ghosts I have been dealing with for a while, including leaving the door open for those who deserve second chances and the romantic/positive outlook necessary to push through. I have been criticized many times for it and rightfully so, when you extend someone your finger...usually the hand follows. The anxious feeling, that something undesired is going to manifest is a feeling that intensifies daily. I think that most people do not understand that the reality we will face, is going to be incredibly cruel. Lines will have to be drawn that kind people would never want to draw under normal circumstances, the ethical dilemmas that result from this alone are countless but there won’t be time for philosophy. You are not the only one experiencing this. What I tell myself is that if there was ever a time to feel that way, it should be now and not later when our rational minds are necessary. I want to embrace that energy, own it and shed it while it is still a mental exercise and not the grandmother standing at our gate asking for bread. And I want to go to sleep knowing that I spread the word and took care of my people. My partner tells me that one day my naïve energy will get me into serious trouble and he is probably right…Thankfully I have someone far more rational taking care of me. I hope that you can find inner peace and a community that treats you with care. Your rant was listened to and likely a lot more productive than you imagine.

"...sometimes I just want to shake them and tell them to open their eyes..."
"None so blind as those who refuse to see."
"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."
"You can lead a teenager to knowledge but you can't make him think." (Made up for my kids...)
"It's easier to fool a man than to convince him he's been fooled."
I could go on with these...
Your only responsibility to those who refuse to see is for you to give them the information you have in the best, most honest way you can. If they insist upon being deluded you can't force them to see and shouldn't stress yourself about it. These are the same people who would happily send you off to the re-education camp so that they can maintain their illusions. Never forget that.

@@MyName-tb9oz "You can lead a teenager to knowledge but you can't make him think." Nice one 👍"Your only responsibility to those who refuse to see is for you to give them the information you have in the best, most honest way you can." Is it though? Shouldnt I be able to do a better job?
You know, the fact that people pay me to know my opinion and "strangers" on the other side of the world actually follow the instructions I give them in regards to preparing, because they know what my word stands for, but then my own family (dad being part of the silent generation, highly intelligent individual) just shove their heads under the carpet and answer with fatalistic or condescending replies or "hopeful" imaginary scenarios, thats where I have to hold myself and them accountable.
It has come to the point of buying and storing food for the people I care about because I know exactly where it would end otherwise. I worked 16h shifts in the past to make that happen. As much as we prepare in all forms (mentally, physically and spiritually) for what is to come, losing a loved one is not something one can prepare for.
"people who would happily send you off to the re-education camp so that they can maintain their illusions. " ...that is exactly one of the dilemmas, play with the fire get burned. I want to believe that almost everyone is able to experience a change in direction however. But how much does it take to get there?
Are you going to deny food to the 6 year old at your door? What if he is part of a bigger scheme? What if on the next day you have 14 people at your door? Where do you draw the line?
You better know where that line is, before you draw it. And you better be sure you made the right decision.
We have had serious discussions at home about getting family members living in the capital in the car against their will, if they dont move on their own terms. I have the means of doing that without hurting anyone but do I really need to go there? I just ask myself if that is what it takes? Should these adults not know better? And why has it come to having to entertain these thoughts when we could just sit down and have a conversation?
I detest forcing myself upon someone else, yet if they want to make it out alive I am going to have to cross the line. There is no way of romanticizing it. And just like me, many of us are going to have to do the same.
Another thing, we dont really have the luxury of complaining about what life is going to look like, we got to experience a childhood, no one can take that from us. But what about those who wont? It really breaks me to think of all the suffering that could be avoided if people were more in touch with common sense.
The time for difficult questions has never been closer.

@@preppershenanigans... I don't know what to tell you. I can tell you that my own mother and sister live over a thousand miles from me and won't leave the city they live in. They are _quite_ liberal and absolutely will not see what could very easily happen.
Hell, most of the time I pretend not to know, too! It's the only way I can make it through a day. I have absolutely no one I can talk to about these things because the people who _think_ they understand still don't understand the depth of what is going on and how long it has been going on. They don't see the intent behind what (somehow) appears to them to be random chance or poor decisions on the part of leaders.
You think about the number of people you knew personally who were absolutely in favor of mandatory [schotts] for everyone just a while ago and tell me those people wouldn't have happily turned you in. My own mother wouldn't have my son come to visit her because he wasn't shot even though she desperately needed someone to help her with her house. My mother-in-law _lied_ to us about getting it because she wanted to come over every Sunday even though there is some pretty strong evidence that it can shed. She was willing to endanger her own grandchildren because she was lonely.
People are just... Cowards, mostly. Cowards who don't want to know that, yes, in fact, the -sky- society IS falling and a lot of people are going to get hurt.

    • @preppershenanigans
      @preppershenanigans 5 місяців тому +1

@@MyName-tb9ozI am sorry to hear about you not having someone to talk to. Getting our ideas across and receiving actual feedback is very important if we don’t want to end up isolated in a shed in the woods or becoming increasingly more eccentric which might actually be inevitable at some point…
I noticed that the prepping/information community, in general, has this dichotomy of excelling when it comes to sharing valuable information but when it comes to venting about emotions, thought processes/ethical reasoning and even spiritual preparedness if you will, it is almost as if many are ashamed to do the introspective work. I think we underestimate having our heads in order. It’s not a sign of weakness, but a sign of humanity. If our minds are not tidied up how can everything else be? I thought about creating a channel that addresses these topics within the community but not sure if there is an actual interest.
“Hell, most of the time I pretend not to know, too! It's the only way I can make it through a day.”…and that is only natural. No life can be sustained without hope. I like Jung’s approach of the shadow self; it’s very painful at the beginning but very rewarding later.
“ They don't see the intent behind what (somehow) appears to them to be random chance or poor decisions on the part of leaders.” That is the case with most people, only being able to see what is before their noses and even so with limitations. Politics are just a small fraction of the problem but that is a can of worms you best not open in front of the wrong people…The internet is not the right place either. Keep it simple for them and don't waste your latin.
“You think about the number of people you knew personally who were absolutely in favor of mandatory [schotts] for everyone just a while ago and tell me those people wouldn't have happily turned you in.” - Most certainly. If I learned something back then, it is that people have very fragile minds and are willing to risk a lot for instant gratification. But remember, in their minds they were doing the right thing its not always due to malevolence.
In regards to your family, I hope they still change their minds. I appreciate your sky analogy, although I suspect it was quite literal. Sooner or later they are going to find out anyway…Its going to be the hard way though and that could be avoided.

    • @TheBelrick
      @TheBelrick 5 місяців тому

The number one reason people are failures today is because of lying. People lie to themselves and the only way to progress as a human, is through honest reflection. Once a person begins lying to themselves, they stop progressing. The typical person on the street is not only a damned liar, but a child. Adults are humans that learnt to be honest.
As to why people lie, forgetting outside influences for now, being wrong HURTS. Causes pain, people like to avoid pain. By being dishonest a person can fool themselves into pretending that they were not wrong.
So the cause of people being dishonest children is cowardice. Hiding from pain
So in summary, to improve your life, you must improve yourself, which means being honest to yourself, which means bravely facing the pain of being wrong.

I think the way to acquire 411 is to observe your surroundings. Then document what you see or hear. I'd liken it to what can be fairly described as a Off-Home Report (OHR). This means that whenever you leave your home, you are to visually observe your surroundings and what you hear. Then, once in-house, you document your observations/auditory impressions on paper. Construct a file system to file your OHR (Off Home Report). This method is surely to foment a better recognition/understanding of what you hear and observe.

_A Source Reliability Report Exercise :_
"I saw a Blackhawk helicopter chasing 2 white light orbs from SE to NW, 50mi East of Cincinnati, Ohio, at a high rate of speed."
    VARIABLES :
    1. I was air cav for 6 years
    2. NASA confirmed i can i.d. a "ufo"
    3. I am expert in land nav
    4. I was camping 50mi E. of "Cinty"
    5. I have seen white light orbs before
    6. It was at night
    7. It happened 8 days ago
    8. I was alone
    9. A military jet followed the same vector shortly after
What level of reliability is this ?
(hint : it's not A-1. Also, it is a real occurrence)

For reliability of information I would also suggest not only taking the excellent information that's presented in this channel constantly and others but I would suggest people look into a method for correct reasoning and understanding that is called the Trivium method. The Trivium method was allegedly brought back by the Crusaders from the Ottoman Empire a long time ago I don't even remember the date and if people want to look up some of the history of its modern development or utilization I would suggest Dorothy Sayers book on the subject matter which I cannot remember offhand I believe it's the Lost art of learning but basically the Trivium method is how one categorizes and vets information through reason through a three-step process.
This three-step process is as follows and should not be changed or modified in regards to the order as some people have done such as a famous author that wrote a book about the subject matter back in the 70s whose Name Escapes me also at the moment but one of the tricks to create a situation of false reasoning in people is to remove these steps or change their order. So the three steps to the Trivium method are grammar, logic, and rhetoric and there's also quite a few Publications out there where people put different spins on this but generally speaking my understanding is that you are dealing with General grammar (not specialized grammar which specifically relates to grammatical structure in writing or composition) which is metaphysics, ontology or input, logic also known as epistemology or processing in computer science terms and rhetoric or your Exposition or output or another way that people have categorized this is ethics. Now calling rhetoric or relating it to ethics is a little bit confusing I think that's more of a specialized version of the output.
I'm quite sure that the intelligence community and Military Intelligence and other organizations and entities that rely on accurate information you something similar to this but it's also in use in the media and in government and quite often how these particular organizations use it is to substitute false information or use placeholders of misinformation or change the Order of Things. 1 idiom that I have kept in the back of my head for a very long time since I started studying this probably about 10 years ago is the idea that you are generally speaking trying to create a inquiry-based conclusion instead of a conclusion based inquiry. Now if you think about that you can see how reversing the order of things can change the outlook on reality which is what the Trivium methods strives to do with Aristotelian logic knowledge and correct fashioning of information for an output what is desired but not necessarily the truth can lead an individual or large groups of people in the wrong direction and I think this is fairly obvious and quite evident these days no matter what kind of information Source you're talking about.
Now besides some vague references to books there's one by a Catholic nun that I believe just has the Trivium and the title I don't remember her name either that's an excellent source but I would recommend people check out Gene Odennings interviews from about 10 years ago specifically the ones he did on the now disparaged and very questionable podcast Gnostic Media, which now goes by the name logos media and I don't think those shows are available anymore unless one becomes a paying subscriber and you are able to download archives from his older shows.
Gene Odenning has done other interviews and I know that Richard Grove over at tragedy and hope and I think his new website is called the Liberty Institute or something like that has done quite a lot of work on that especially 10 years ago or more where he fully fleshed out a lot of the applications of the Trivium method. As far as logic I would tell people to ignore all of the objectivist stuff and just go straight for the logic course that the objectivist philosopher Leonard Peikof published as well as the Encyclopedia of objectivist epistemology or objectivist epistemology some variation on that phrasing is the title of the book that was put out under the Ayn Rand Institute. Again I'm not promoting objectivism although their methods for reasoning and training for reasoning are quite remarkable and very similar to the Trivium method and very similar to how the Jesuits trained individuals in Jesuit schools. There are some that speculate that the Trivium method is even encoded in Biblical scripture but the father Son and Holy Ghost being an alternative metaphor or symbology for this reasoning process and that is not to take away from any spiritual understanding or Enlightenment or theological training I'm just stating that there are as we know from Holistics and semiotics other things behind literature and scriptural writings other than Renditions of supposed ancient history or spiritual guidance.
Edit, I've tried to clean up the grammar and spelling problems and The Voice to Text failures that have taken place as I try to jot down my thoughts in this comment since I am technically disposed at the moment and just trying to belt out this comment really quickly but there might be some more egregious errors in this comment and for that I want to apologize I will try to come back later and edit for content and context

One should note if the source, or how, when it tries to angle the information to a different audience. They can use the same news but change how it is written to appeal to different audiences. For example to nazis, commies, conservatives, monarchists, anarchists and so on. They may not even have a specific agenda to promote, but rather their "agenda" is to stir disorder, chaos, confusion and inflame relations in society by playing them against each other for example or to act out in whatever way that works without following a specific ideology or party line. It is pretty common by the russians to do this, and it works to a scary degree.

the opposite end of this source reliability rating is if you can't trust anything they say, they can say anything and you don't know what's real. the old "baffle them with bullsh!t" gambit.
back in the 90's our militia group talked endlessly on open forums about our tank. depending on who you talked to it was a Hellcat or a Pershing. we;d talk about getting or making parts, doing repairs, loading rounds for the main gun, ect.
then we'd talk about moving it, with map coordinates, moving times, ect.usually to a spot on the NH/VT border. in a few days we'd go and check out the spot we had picked..an old barn with a basement..and we'd find several ATF agents. out of cell phone range, radios not compatible with local police radios, and no way to climb out. we'd help them out, ask knowingly what they were doing, and let them go.
after a while, they figured out we had no tank. but at the same time they figured nearly everything we said was BS, and they didn't have the time or manpower to figure out what was what.
so, as long as we kept up the level of BS, we had free reign to operate as we pleased.
