I have friends with hardware like the brass example you showed, they hate it and I surely know if I ever change what I have it won’t be the style that sticks out past the screw placement. They hook pockets and belt loops.

I really like the black grid pattern idea for your backsplash window, I also think that would look nice in your big square plain window over your corner table area
Oh! Me too! I’ve been debating whether or not to do that on that window or not. I can’t decide if it will enhance the view or distract from it and have me focusing on the grid pattern, but I am definitely definitely considering it for the big corner window.💕

Great ideas. I would get a full window cut out for more lighting in your kitchen. Get bamboo as privacy from your neighbor. The hood you want is beautiful but I would relocate it elsewhere in the kitchen. 😊
I love my GE Café gas range, it has low profle back, plus I have my electric wall oven. I would not be able to pull off all those holiday meals w/o two ovens - you know - those 9 pies they all want!
Lauren Nicholsen has one of those windows under her kitchen cabinets. She lives in the Napa Valley area. She painted the dark oak cabinets and epoxy coated her dark granite countertops. You might take a look at her kitchen and home. She is a manager of a winery. I used that film on my bathroom windows. Looking forward to the range hood

A friend of mine moved & now has a brass faucet in her kitchen & I LOVE it! I might take the plunge & switch!
Also- we replaced our faucet AFTER we bought new granite, and I chose to put an R/O filter under the sink & used the soap dispenser hole for the spout. (I have amber bottles for hand & dish soap.) Great alternative when you can't buy a system for the whole house!
Now I'm wondering if they would make the R/O spout in brass.. 🤔

Thanks for the ideas. Yes, you definitely need to paint those cabinets. It seems so dark in there, especially with only that one little window. I would love to see you do that because I want to paint mine. We just have simple flat cabinets. I am thinking of adding some trim to make the doors a bit more textured. Thank you. Thank you for not painting your cabinets, yet. I have stained cabinets and unfortunately more on the orange tone that we had built 19 years ago and my husband doesn't want them painted. I have found that my wall color choice changes the tone of the cabinets. I hope some day to be able to stain them differently but until then I have to embrace them and work around it.

Hi, I have the Delta Ashton Touch, not motion! I absolutely love it! I looked at the motion and thought it would come on too easy. You can tough the spout with the clean part of your arm when cooking. I’m so spoiled. I go to my sisters homes and touch their faucet 🙄 (of course, no water and I have to turn it on😂)

I would love to see the range hood dyi. 69 and still doing projects. Proud owner of the Athena drill. It is so much lighter than my other drills. The younger generation has taught me new tricks and products. I just bought the Wagner steamer to clean grout with. I have not only been cleaning grout but anything else that might be stuck in a crack. Love Love it. Many attachments and light weight. Can''t wait until you start doing projects. 💖💖💖
I work as a custodian at a junior high school and I cleaned the grout lines with gel toilet bowl cleaner and it worked great. Granite it was a commercial product thick gel but it worked great, but I was the only one who noticed. 😮😢 you should add a scrub attachment to your drill. I've seen some on commercials but they are flimsy. Hope this helps.

Adding moulding to the top and bottom of your kitchen cabinets also elevates your kitchen and it looks high end❤

i LOVE the range hood that you already have-and do not care for the big boxy one you're talking about. What you currently have, it's shape color and texture offsets your current big boxy cabinets.
Also, I have a big gaping hole where my double ovens were. The top one went out and the glass on the front of the lower one was broken. My daughter says the Labrador did it, that’s her story and she’s sticking to it. Anyway, I have a slide in range/oven to go where the cooktop is. I’m thinking cabinet doors and a drawer on the lower part and a coffee bar counter level and up with the microwave at the top. This cabinet is right next to the cooktop where the range will go so we’re looking at a tall deep cabinet next to the place where the range hood will go. Your idea of creating a prototype out of cardboard is great! Cause I’m just not sure what shape to do. Also the space above my upper cabinets is enclosed so I’m thinking some molding would dress it up but am unsure how to incorporate all this together. Cardboard it is! My husband will think I’m nuts, but he’ll get over it.

Years ago, my cousin bought a used stove. When bringing it home , he did not strap it down good enough. It broke the door including the glass. He ended up using the old stove and took the glass. It was not the same size. He ended up making an oak wood piece on the top right above the oven door. It is different but I love it.

I really like your granite it goes well with the cabinets and I like the backsplash. You can add fleur de lis on the tumbled marble by glueing them on top of the marble. I'm sure you could find some in would and rub and buff them

You can paint the grout. I moved in my home four years ago and painted the grout lines in my master shower. Worked perfect. Still looks like new grout. Also grout paint pens. I just used regular house paint and small paint brush.
Actually, that’s one of my really really really old videos maybe clear back from 2011 or so. I painted the grout on my tiles and I am actually back at that house because it became a rental property and I am surprised at how well the grout held up over all of these years, it’s crazy.💕

I think I learned about the kitchen faucet is that it must be a gooseneck like the one you showed. I made a mistake of getting one for the look only and neglected the function. A straight faucet, by that I mean straight coming out at a 45° angle, splashes all over the counter, I believe the one you showed is 100% better than the one I chose.we learn from our mistakes
I would love to see you diy a range hood. I've NEVER seen anyone tackle that❤ btw im so happy you did something with that shiny fridge. I like brushed metal or colored appliances...that bright shiny stainless steel looks cheap for the price tag that's hung on them. Reminds me of back in the day when i worked in a restaurant as a teen. All of my appliances are black. Im not going to be driven crazy about hand prints or water spots on appliances like ss shows..wouldn't have them with kids or in my case, grown moved away kids lol

Natalee please do a video on hiding your lighting on preexisting cabinets. The previous owners did lighting under the cabinets, but i can see the mechanics(hardwired to electricity)and its drove me nuts for 10 years. Ive been trying to figure out how to mask that❤❤ theyre high end custom cabinets and are beautiful, so the option to tear them out is off the table.
