None of this works...prompter works fine on the MacBook Air but nothing on the MacStudio M2. I'm taking the Studio into the Mac store and see if there is something in there that needs help.
I have tried everything Elgato has shared on how to get this to work and STILL nothing. I waited over a month for the Prompter to arrive and now after doing everything correctly to set it up, I can't even use this. I'm using a new Mac Studio and Studio Display (Apple M1 Chip + Sonoma 14.4). The USB is plugged into one of the two USB ports in my Mac Studio. The cord is the one sent with the Prompter. I know I am not the only person having this huge issue (NOT being able to even connect???). What are the next steps or solutions. This is very frustrating (especially for the price). Elgato - what do we do??
@@LiveStreamingPros do you mean from your original video? Yes, I already have the DisplayLink enabled. I have mounted the Prompter, I connected the cord, I downloaded the driver, I did everything everyone has shared across UA-cam, FB Groups, Reddit, you name it. I cannot comprehend this level of crazy when I should just be able to use this thing. Any other ideas?
Oh sorry - I thought this was a different video, but yes, meant the original this is linked to. Hmmmm... is the prompter flashing when plugged in? Even a slight shift in color? Did you try a separate thunderbolt cable?
