  • In this insightful discussion with John Bevere, the concept of 'the Holy Fear of God' is explored as a cornerstone for an intimate relationship with God, emphasizing that such fear is distinct from being afraid and is more about reverence and awe. He addresses the consequences of a society that lacks this form of respect and fear, suggesting that it leads to moral decline and spiritual distance from God.
    Quote from the interview:
"There are 40 distinct benefits that I found in walking in the Holy Fear of God. The number one benefit is an intimate relationship with God... We've tried to eradicate fears... but I submit to everybody there are constructive fears and destructive fears... This is why the Bible says by the fear of the Lord, one departs from evil... It's that continual flowing source of God's wisdom... it's really the missing link. It's what will unlock this profound sense of intimacy with God." John Bevere

Thank you for helping me to better understand the fear of God. I’m glad to know that I have a healthy fear of God. I just never knew how to put those feelings into proper words. My biggest fear, is indeed falling away from God. I want to forever be present with God.

I know that a person who has narcissistic behavior patterns can be delivered if he/she fears the Lord. Others seldom change. I know Christians who say, "Perfect love casts out fear" because they want to deny the fear of the Lord are risking a great deal. They have no protection from the temptation of sin. It's the fear of the Lord that protects us from evil & wrong doing. It helps us have peace and gives us understanding. It helps us forgive others. It puts things into proper perspective. It's really necessary, and it is how we come into the abundant life Christ promised. Thanks for this video.

“I tell you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear the One who, after you have been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him!”

You ought to have a reverent fear of God. I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. 5But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him! Luke 12:4 - 5

You dont fear God enogh. Since the job market oicked up after the 2008 economic crash - people over 40 lost their savings and 401k and had to start over again financially but they were blocked from entering the job market again - forcing them into suckness and destitute piverty and homlessness - to this day still companies will only hire people in their twenties and thirties starting their salaries at 50 k to 100k with full benefits - denying people over 40 50 etc the right to work and earn their own bread. The Bible states to take away a man's livlihood is to commit murder. Companies are into equality and inclusion except when it comes to age. Intelligen, sober, skilled, law-abiding citizens over 40 are ending up in dirty dangerous homeless shelters or in the street in the usa due to age discrimination and gentrification. Wealthy pastors and politicians and wealthy entrepreneuers and CEOs will go to hell for this - it is murder against the righteous in your land.

I don't fear a (probable) figment of your imagination. Why should we fear an allegedly loving god?

God isn't all loving, otherwise heaven will be like earth, this is real, atheism is a temporary condition.
