Balak nyo bang mag camping by the beach pero ayaw nyong tumawid ng dagat? yung magtatayo kayo ng tent day tour o overnight? hanap nyo ba ay resort na below 400php lang ang entrance? resort na tahimik, peaceful at maeenjoy mo ang pagrerelax mo kasi walang nagvivideoke sa paligid? Gusto mo bang maexpirience yung "Car camping" kung saan pupwede mong ilatag ang tent ng 4x4 truck nyo sa tabing dagat? na may magandang sunset kasi nakaharap ang resort sa west? hanap nyo ba ay kakaibang camping expirience para sa family nyo, tropa o kaya sa minamahal mong jowaers. naku siguradong maiinlove sya sa lugar at lalo maiinlove sya sayo kapag dinala mo sya dito sa Edna's Beach and Campsite. The resort is accessible for all types of vehicles. Easily driven from motorcycles to 4×4 suvs and trucks. Be careful only if you have a sedan or any 4×2 vehicle and you’re planning to park your vehicle along the beach (car camp). The sand near the beach is loose and might cause you some trouble if your vehicle gets stuck in the sand (we encountered a Chevy Trailblazer that got stuck). As 4×4 enthusiasts, it is possible to have your vehicle parked along the beach line but let your vehicle roll its wheels over the sand. Too much acceleration will spin the wheels and dig into the sand. Even on the sunniest of days, the beach wont disappoint when you aim for Instagram worthy photos. The vast amount of trees within the camping areas are ample if you want to stay under a shade.
Unfortunately, Batangas beaches are not favorable if you’re particular to sand. The sand is rough and course to my linking to the very least. But you can get by as it wasn’t a bother to me or to my friends.
Most claimed that the camp is really a worth to visit but the beach is another story. And I won’t disagree. On high tides, the water is only knee deep (even at a kilometer away). And during low tides, it is basically a big damp sandbox. However, in general, to me, tying in the winds, the color of the sea, sand in between your toes, and the warmth of the sun hitting your skin, the entire experience wont disappoint.
Putting things into perspective, if you are the kind of person who has the proper overland rig, or has the backpacking arsenal, or has a motorcycle camper setup, this will be an easy camping experience for you. The way I see it, Edna’s Beach and Campsite aims to make the camping experience available to most if not all. And with the current setup of the resort and what they have available on site, they surely live up to the expectations.
So if you and your family are just starting out with camping or would just like to experience the fun in camping that everyone is talking about nowadays, then Edna’s Beach and Campsite won’t disappoint. Just bring the basics (tent, chairs, cooler, powerbanks, and your trusty Samgyupsal cooking set) and you are set off for an adventure even if its just an overnight stay. ok sana dito sa edna's beach and campsite kaso i felt like i was ripped off grabe, bday ko pa man din yun...to be specific, if you are trying to save money hnd yan mangyayari kasi lagi may kapalit na gastos sa maavoid mo sana...like magpark ka sa beach front may additional fee which is ok, but if ayaw mo magtent kasi may sleeping set-up ka sa car mo, you will have to pay additional for that kahit wala ka nmn awning, as in may tulugan ka lng...if magdala ka nmn ng tent kasi meron ka, hindi ka rin makakasave dahil may corkage fee na equivalent din ata sa tent rental...sobra tlg rip off...ok nmn view kung titingnan mo lng ang dagat, but if gusto mo sumawsaw or lumangoy, this is not the place for you kasi hanggang beywang lng water level, wala nga akong 5ft or tuhod mo lng tubig if matangkad ka...i rented the kayak as i was hoping na lumayo sa deeper part ng beach para makaswim, pero bawal din ilabas ang kayak sa buoy/floating markers kaya ayun hnd ko naenjoy ang beach kasi kahit sa markers mababaw pa rin...sorry management for telling my honest review but i hope maimprove nyo sana para hndi mashadong rip off kasi hnd nmn ganun mga napanood ko sa yt before ako pumunta at hindi rin ganun pagka explain nung nakausap ko sa phone...super badtrip lang ako at hnd rin very nice ang mga staff na nandon, pero i tried na hindi masira araw ko..charge to experience nlng
